Pepe's Cantina - Winter Park

Honestly felt the indoor seating was to close for current Covid guidelines . We were sat directly next to one table with those guest less than 2 feet apart from us.

Small inside seating; if you visit you should go to the outside bar around back.
Try the margaritas, they have over 15+ choices. (and plenty other cocktails and beers/wines)

Great food and drinks. Nice outdoor seating! Great experience. We will be back!

I love Pepe's when I'm just hungry for a taco! Their guacamole is so fresh and delicious.. can't beat the table-side prep! Outdoor dining is preferable to indoor as they only have a few tables indoors and it can get quite loud inside.

It was good food was great the only thing was the drinks took a very long time to get to the table I was waiting for over 20 minutes on a drink. But overall it was good

We loved our first time at Pepe’s cantina! Service was good except towards the last hour when we can’t find our server. Food was okay but unlimited mimosas were the best! Good place to hangout with your friends , chat and drink and just have a great time !

Edel took care of us and made sure our first visit wouldn’t be our last. The food was amazing, drinks satisfying and service was incredible.

Pepe’s Cantina is a quaint, authentic street-side Mexican restaurant with a romantic ambience reserved for special occasions. We were seated outdoors as requested, immediately. The service was gracious, friendly and attentive. Our drinks were served quickly so as to accompany the chips and salsa appetizer. The presentation of the main course was artistic only exceeded by the delicious taste. Freshness was the hallmark for the meal. The fajitas were the best we’ve tasted ever. Portions were overly gracious leaving no room for desert.
We would highly recommend Pepe’s Cantina, and look forward to returning.

It was our 2nd time here. I have a mom group I plan outings with and we loved it both times. Also, thanks to the manager Raul for being super accommodating even when we were a pain and switched spots a few times 😂 and of course to the servers that we switched a few times:) We loved our e experience again and will definitely be back and promise to not ask to change our table a million times :)

Overall the experience at PePe's was fine. The service was not exceptional. I ordered Queso Dip and I had to re-request 4 more times and 45 minutes later it finally arrived. Servers kept switching, the left hand did not know what the right hand was doing. It took over 30 minutes just get a glass of water and everytime I would ask for a refill on a drink I was told "Oh, I didn't bring that to you!". I felt like the Servers were very overwhelmed, which I am confused about, given the majority of the patrons dining at Pepe's made reservations, so it's not like Pepe's didn't know they were coming.

The food was excellent, but the service was TERRIBLE. I had to get up twice to go find a server and my friend and to go find our server to get the checks. We waited 20 minutes before they came to take our order. Very disappointed.

Food was delicious, service was somewhat slow and aloof. The waitress spilled a full water on one of our party, and would have been nice for the restaurant to acknowledge it somehow and make a bit more effort to make up for the accident. My sister in law sat soaked the whole time - I think that’s worth a complimentary beer! Also ordered queso and had to ask a few times to receive it. Hoping it was an off day amidst the rush of the holidays. All of our entrees were yummy and I could easily get addicted to the hot sauce.

Everything was great and the food delicious as usual. But our waiter disappeared on us to the point that another waiter had to take over our table.

It was fine, the server was okay but not super attentive for a slow night. Food wasn't bad but I could get better food for a better price at many other places. Drink was fine. Timing was fine. Just not really worth the money honestly. Happy hour prices are great though.

We went out for a ladies Sunday Funday and Pepe’s did not disappoint! The French toast is to die for! I only wish they had eggs - everything is so great and the service was top notch

The waiter was very polite and makes sure everything is good. I didn’t have to find him to do anything. The food was amazing and it was fresh and hot. I will go back again. That was my first time and I loved this restaurant.

This is not a restaurant d recommend. Sticky tabletop, server did not know the menu and screaming child (apparently a member of staff family). Not a good experience for a birthday lunch surprise!

I have to say that I was disappointed with my dining experience. The server took forever to come to our table. She brought water with no straws and salsa and chips with no napkins as well. We had to keep asking for napkins. Finally the bartender brought them over. When it was time to order food, we ended up calling over the bartender to take our order. When the food arrived, the server didn't bring utensils. She was nowhere to be found. We waited for a long time for our checks. Then when we were leaving, we asked for water to go. The bartender took forever to come back, so we ended up leaving without the water. The restaurant was not crowded at all so there was no excuse for the amount of time that we waited to receive service. I'm sure I'll dine at Pepe's Cantina but not the Winter Park location.

I wasn't even greeted when I got there. Another lady arrived after and was helped before us. We waited more than 10 min to be helped after my request, not spontaneously. Ordering from the menu might be a great experience since the food from the Sunday brunch tasted good, however, the service was poor due to lack of enough servers (our waiter was great, but the place was crowded). The buffet needs to be organized better, since the food finishes very quickly and it's not refilled fluently so the trays were constantly empty. The line to the buffet was long, there was no air conditioning indoors and there was a lot of noise.

Let me start by saying we had lunch here a couple of weeks ago and were very impressed with the selection of the vegetarian and vegan selections. Service and drinks flowed great.

Today, for brunch, was not the case. I agree with Amber’s review today, they were not ready for service and were under prepared. I too, looked for a manager and was told there wasn’t one. Food on the buffet was empty most of the time we were there. The “avocado toast bar” was simply some white toast and guacamole. The French toast was burnt. We were drinking sangria and our drinks were consistently empty. If we had been drinking mimosas, they would have left a bottle of champagne on the table.

Btw, it’s $22.50 for brunch. Doesn’t matter if you are drinking or not. My kids did not get a meal worth $22.50. They should have ordered off the regular menu.

They were not very well prepared for handling a brunch. Very disappointed and will not be returning. How can you start cooking the food when it’s finished?

I would not recommend the Sunday Brunch. Some of the food was cold-Unless you are going to drink a lot-there wasn't anything different then going to a Mexican Restaurant and ordering a nice combo platter-Also my wife has a problem with walking and having to leave the indoor area and walk to the back bar to get her food was not easy for her. The staff was excellent and they all seemed to be working real well together.

We love the Winter Park area but the food was just ok. Service was nice, but we thought the reviews are a bit overrated.

Great lunch! We chose to sit outside - inside dining is limited. It was super hot, but the rice was great and the food was delicious. Table side Guacamole was fantastic!

No great shakes here. Kids work hard but food meh

Only two tables to serve and it took too long to be served. The salad was very salty and none of us were able to eat it. The food was just not great in general.

The ambiance was great but they need to improve the food quality and serve quicker.
