There were three in my party and our reservation was at 12:30. The service was dreadfully slow. We wound up leaving the restaurant at 2:20. The restaurant was not busy so I am not sure why it took nearly 1 hour to get us our entrees. But they were very quick about giving us the check. Not sure I can really recommend this place if people want to go there for lunch as it seems you need an afternoon to accommodate their service.

The food, the decor and the service were all wonderful backgrounds to a night with our family. We were off to see a show across the street at the Annenberg Center and the location is IDEAL. I wish I remembered the hostess's name. She really ran the room beautifully on Friday night 12/9. Well done.

Always a great spot on Penn's campus. Good for business or friends' get together. Great, freshly and thoughtfully presented salads, entrees and cocktails. Attentive service.

Outstanding food, wine, service, and ambience! An + all around! I took my brother and mother here as a surprise birthday celebration for my brother. Our waiter was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful in making it a special evening for my brother. An excellent evening was had by all! We'll definitely be returning again soon. And we hope o have the same waiter! He deserves a raise! :)

I had the calamari (very good), the Caesar salad (terrible very bland--had almost no dressing) and the maple rib eye (which came out almost cold). All in all the food was ok. What was more unfortunate was the service. The older gentlemen (white male with glasses) who served myself and my colleague was God awful. He had zero warmth. His attitude was one negative step away from being outright "not wanting us there". For example, my colleague asked for the caesar salad WITHOUT croutons, the salad comes with one large crouton. The server brought it out and basically said, "I know you asked for no croutons, but you can just remove it yourself." And this was basically par for the course, for the entire meal. I don't know if that server was having a bad day, but he was AWFUL. Apathetic and extremely not interested. It wasn't like there were lots of ppl there and he was stressed because he was "in the weeds", he just didn't care really. Thankfully, my colleague was kind enough to pay for my meal---if I would have paid, I would have left zero tip.

While the location is desirable, the value is less that steller. Fifty dollars for two appetizers and a glass of wine is hardly good value.

The wait staff was lovely and very knowledgeable about the menu.

Probably would not come back if other restaurants were available. Better value and amibience is certainly around university city.

The express lunch is wonderful and very filling. The lemon drop martini was beautifully made. The salmon was perfectly cooked. Next time I will be getting the home made pasta. Can't wait to go back

Food was good. Octopus was grilled to the point of very crispy we had to return it - rest of our meal was very tasty.
Waiter was a bit weeded, which made getting another glass of wine or even our check a longer process. Not that big of a deal but certainly you'd expect better. Would return for another try!
