    Food was delicious. Unfortunately our server was rude and ignored our empty water and wine glasses. Never told us about specials. Extremely slow service. Also when we asked if there was a problem with the order he was really put out. Will never return.

    We were excited to return to the Peninsula Grill since it has been since before covid that we dined here. The service was great, waiter very helpful. There were two large groups dining in the same large room but the noise was almost unbearable. We couldn’t understand the special offerings for the evening and could not converse without raising our voices to the extent that we just gave up. It was my husband’s birthday so it certainly made the evening compromised. We will only eat there again if we can get the courtyard.

    We dined outside in the courtyard area — very relaxing. The service was extremely professional but still very friendly. There is a nice variety on the menu. Make certain to save room for the coconut cake. It was the best dessert I have ever had, and more than two of us could eat!

    From the moment we arrived, Larissa greeted us with her awesome smile and welcomed to us to the Peninsula Grill.  After she seated us, she even offered to take some pictures, so thank you Larissa. Our dinner was absolutely phenomenal. We must mention that we both ordered the scallops. It was quite frankly, the best I think we’ve ever had. It was such an interesting combination of ingredients which ended up tasting absolutely awesome, so kudos to the chef. The restaurant looked so beautiful and the gardens were absolutely amazing. We got a chance to meet Ali the manager. She was the consummate professional. She helped address an issue that we had, so thank you, Ali !

    Absolutely fantastic evening. Service was impeccable. Nibila, our server, was funny, personable, catered to every one of our needs without being 'on top of us'. Might be the best service we've ever had and that is saying something. Food was soooooo good. Best Pork Chop I have ever had. Just come with a hearty appetite. My wife got the Salmon and it was great. And to finish off the evening, the coconut cake. A must! We will definitely be back and highly recommend the patio.

    this has always been our go-to restaurant for special occasions - special to us because we knew the executive chef & the owner, but that changed recently. As it was named one of the top-10 restaurants in the US and as it was my husband’s birthday, we were very much looking forward to our dinner. Overall, we were very disappointed and would even say it’s the worst dinner we have ever had there in 24 years… admittedly, it was a Tuesday night, but not a single server or sommelier that we’ve known over the years was there. We brought a 27-year old Bordeaux (that was not on their list) from our cellar for the special occasion. Nabila sadly wasn't our server but did open the bottle for us, and served it to us. She was probably the best part of the night The amuse bouche was nothing special.. My husband had the foie gras (small butpropely cooked and tasty). I had the tuna tartare special because I love raw tuna tartare however, what I got was more like a ceviche. It was not a beautiful, dark, red and moist, rather gray, rough, cut and not uniquely seasoned. No breast but I did get two legs, no peppercorn tomato jus (just a few sun dried tomatoes) and the sausage - well-cooked and delicious. My husband ordered the diver scallops which are usually his favorite dish there. There were 3 diver scallops, if the Maine lobster was included it was such a small amount that he couldn’t taste or find it. There was a small amount of spaghetti squash underneath the three scallops, and the three potato gnocchi were like rocks. You couldn’t even bite into them. The next best part was dessert: vanilla cinnamon gelato -fabulous! Coconut cake - moister and fewer layers.

    The Peninsula Grill is an excellent place for a celebration dinner! It's an inviting, quiet dining experience that allows a couple, or more, to enjoy table conversation while feasting on truly special foods. The service is very professional without the fussiness of some places. They know what they are doing from the kitchen to the dining room and bar. We enjoyed and savored every bite we took as well as every sip we had from our glasses. Just an overall wonderful dining night out!
