Rack of Lamb was fantastic with the reduction sauce. Great recommendation by our waiter. See you soon.

The service was good. The meal itself was more of an appetizer. I am not a big eater so for me to say that, let's just say I left hungry! The Sangria I had wasn't very good either. We have dined here before too. Not sure what changed. Very disappointed with our meals.

We have eaten there several times and always have had great service and incredible food! This is the only restaurant I've been too where my 16 yo puts down her phone to concentrate on her food!! It is our must go to place when ever we are in town. The staff is completely inventive without being instrusive. You can enjoy your meal without worrying about your wine glass going dry for long.

The place is very nice and the staff is very friendly too. But I wish the tables were a little far from each other since you can hear clearly what people around you talk. Therefore, it is not very convenient for a date night, when you want to have a little isolation from others. They just put as many tables as they could fit, there is hardly any room between the tables for even the waiters to pass.

Really enjoyed our meals, service was great. Staff all works together and are very attentive. The food was delicious. Was a cold night and there were some cold drafts coming in every time the door opened but over all I'd go back again and would say it's a great choice among so many great choices in the North End

I read the various reviews about how people were rushed out but assumed that they ate quickly and then were subtly pressured to pay the bill. No! We ordered and literally 2 minutes later our food came out which called into question how they made it so quickly. The marinara sauce with the calimari app was delicious so we assumed it would have an equal standard with the pasta. Not at all - the sauce used on the pasta, eggplant and chicken parmigiano were all the same - gloopy tomato sauce out of a can it tasted like - nothing fresh or homemade about it. We ate our appetizers and literally had put down forks and the main meal came. We were a party of 7 - we arrived at 7:30 and were in our car on the way home at 8:30. The only way to have stretched out the meal would be to send food back to sit under warmers. The prices were on par with other white tablecloth restaurants in the north end. I sadly do not recommend.

I’ve never been more rushed through a restaurant. Our reservation was at 5 o’clock. We had just met our friends outside the restaurant at 5:01 and my phone rang. It was the hostess wondering where we were. I told her we were right outside and she told us to get in right away. About five minutes after we were seated the hostess returned to our table to tell us that even though we were waiting for the fifth and final member of our party, we would have to order because they needed the table at 6:00. Our waiter looked as though he was having a root canal through the whole meal. After rushing us through dinner he seemed quite perturbed when we had the nerve to actually order coffee and dessert. The quality of the food was consistent with the service. Not good.

This was not a good experience. Two of three dinners were not served as represented on the menu. The food was cold. The server tried to help, but that was just not possible. Sadly, we will not return.

Once again, Pellinos did not disappoint. We have been coming to the North End for 30 years, and we used to try some place new each time, so we have experienced much of what the NE has to offer. Then I bought a Groupon for Pellinos, and ever since that night 5 years ago, Pellinos is the only restaurant we go to from that point forward. We have personally tasted over half the menu and it is all outstanding!!

Our third visit over 2 years, this time it was quieter than in the summer. The food was amazing. My wife had handmade pasta butternut squash ravioli with roasted squash sauce with balsamic reduction. I had veal portofino filled with prosciutto, spinach and mozzarella sauce with fennel sage cream and port glaze. Wines are available by the glass unlike many north end bottle only restaurants. Their wines are reasonable and very appropriate. This location is only a half block off the Hanover St. bustle and a better experience and price point than those locations. Don't miss this if you are in Boston.

Great food. Disappointed that they can’t make a chocolate martini. Bar must be limited. I asked for a lemon- no lemons. No salami either disputed listing it as ingredient in the antipasto.

Somewhat of a hidden gem in the north end unlike some of the tourist traps. Have been here twice now and loved each visit. Small and intimate with a good wine menu and fantastic pastas, seafood dishes and lasagna. Will be back.

The food was absolutely delicious! The space is small but we had enough room for our small group. The only hiccup was letting the staff know we were there for our reservation. There isn’t a front host station, and when we arrived there was a line outside. We tried to come inside to let someone know we had arrived for our reservation, but one of the staff asked us to wait outside and notified us that someone would be out to take names. About 5 minutes later, one of the staff called my phone to find out if we were coming. I notified her that we were already there and waiting outside. That whole system didn’t seem very smooth. Other than that, we really enjoyed our evening!

We all loved Pellinos! The pasta was so amazing and fresh. It is made daily. All was delicious from bread to appetizers and dinner and dessert. Also the restaurant is nutfree which was perfect for my family and hard to come by, especially with Italian restaurants. My children were able to eat dessert, which is also a rarity, and it was outstanding. The servers were attentive and helpful. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Pellino's cannot be beat. The service, the atmosphere, the staff, are all incredible. And the food ?!?! Outstanding !! I had the Lobster Fra Diavolo. The chef even took it down a notch for me from the usual heat that comes with most Fra Diavolo dishes. Others in our party had the rabe with sausage and pasta, the ravioli and various pasta dishes. There were 5 of us so forgive me not remembering all the appetizers and each individual meal. But everyone loved their meals and the experience. Appetizers (calamari, eggplant etc.) and salads (Caprese) were incredible. Pellino's is tucked in on Prince St just off of Hanover St but it is so worth finding. Can't say enough good things about Pellino's

The warm bread to start the meal was very good, accompanied by an eggplant spread. The fried calamari appetizer seemed over cooked and the breading overwhelmed the flavor of the calamari. A burrata appetizer was much better. The night’s special was a lobster and shrimp spaghetti dish. The sauce seemed like a generic marinara which was fine, but didn’t accentuate the lobster and shrimp. The fresh spaghetti was cooked just right and was very good. Our server was polite and attentive. The wine list is not extensive but offers a reasonable number of choices. All in all, the food was good, but not great in my opinion.

Pellino’s was absolutely delicious and completely nut free! It was such a treat to take my daughter to the North End for a safe meal. She was even able to have the bread and dessert! Those with peanut and tree nut allergies know what a luxury that is. The servers were great, and the homemade pasta was an authentic treat. This is be a new regular restaurant for us!

The restaurant is fine - it's one of a few dozen in the North End that are all pretty similar. The food was mediocre for all four of us in my group, the service was hurried, and the prices were ridiculous. But, it's completely in line with every other restaurant in the North End, and we knew that going in. Our expectations were met, and that's why we only eat in the North End once a year. If you have a specific reason for dining in the North End and eating Italian, then this is a fine choice. However, don't expect the best Italian food in the Boston area (my favorites are La Morra in Brookline, or Sweet Basil in Needham).
