Peller Estates Winery Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
My husband and I were celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary. We tried the 5 course meal. It was fun not knowing what we were going to eat for each course and the food was delicious. We had a beautiful seat right next to the fireplace. The service was very good and the restaurant was beautifuly decorated for Christmas.
We did the seven course wine pairing with premium wine. I love Peller and have done this same dining experience several times. The food this time was below average. Wine was excellent and paired well. Pate and blue cheese not so much. I want cool new foodie dishes not boring pase courses. Pate isn’t good at the best of times unless you are a feline.
I had a wonderful experience at Pellar Estates. It was my birthday and the waiter brought over two glasses of sparkling wine. I had the tasting menu which was excellent and good value. The setting is beautiful but for some reason they were playing electronica music in the middle of the day which was odd as it is quite formal and fancy. My husband ordered the lobster linguine which for the price ($45) didn’t have that much lobster in it. Overall a great lunch, great service.
The food was perfect. No complaints. Service top notch - attentive but not rushed. Our desserts were taking a long time (we didn't even notice) but the server did and comped all four unprompted. That's customer service. We've been twice and will be back. Keep doing what you're doing Peller.
It breaks my heart to leave this review... we've been visiting Peller's restaurant for a dozen years for our once a year wine weekend. But it was awful this time. Nothing seemed as it had been. No winemakers luncheon. No staff we recognized. Empty dining room. Server who could not explain the menu, mumbled and could not keep the water glass full. The food was good, but not exceptional and the price was astronomical, especially for what we ordered. Disappointing.
The fabulicious menu was exquisite and surprisingly affordable. We had a Cab Franc 2015 paired with Lamb. The waitress casually mentioned the 2014. Next day we buy two bottles plus more. Food was very well prepared. Service was gracious from the moment we arrived until we left. This is my second visit and their will be many more.
Atmosphere and service were top notch. I didn't love my meal (it was Fabulicious -- the pasta with some meat -- there was not really any meat -- a morsel at best and the appetizer was absolutely not to my liking -- but it was me, not the meal, I'm sure). It's just a lovely spot and the chance to try unusual, creative cuisine is always welcome -- even when I don't love every bite of it!
Wonderful evening, great ambiance..reserved for fabulicious, taste of the Kitchens Niagara... included the wine pairings, and was great value.
Loved the table with the view of the vineyards. Good service and easy to have quiet conversation.
Wineclub extras are always appreciated especially when bringing guests.
It was our first experience in a winery but unfortunately the tours were already all booked. The promotion on the menu of soup, pasta plate and dessert was amazing and so tasty. The icewine butter was my favorite part and unlike any butter I had tasted. Unfortunately it was not available for purchase. The wines were paired so creatively . We will definitely plan another visit with the hopes of a tour this time. Thank you for the great memories of our first winery visit.
Went during what was Fabulisous...disappointed that we couldn't order from the regular menu and had to order from the fixed menu that was made for the event. Nevertheless, the food was very good! Had the beetroot soup and duck leg contif. The ambiance is a little stuffy which you'd likely expect from a fine dining restaurant.
Food was spectacular, and the value offered by the fabulicious menu is unmatched anywhere. A real opportunity to try an outstanding restaurant that you can go back to again for special occasions or just when you want to be spoiled.
Thanks to Marshall for the great experience!
We had an absolutely lovely lunch, the food was delicious and the sparkling wine and pinot gris were fabulous (we bought bottles to bring home, too!). Our server, Nancy, is absolutely delightful -- incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and super efficient. It was a lovely way to celebrate our 25th anniversary and we hope to come back again soon!
We were on our honeymoon and were exploring the Niagara on the Lake region. We made a reservation for dinner at the Pellar Estates Winery after looking up fine dining in the area on Google. My husband had the venison and i had the lobster and black truffle pasta. Both were delish! The wine is fantastic! We especially enjoyed the Rose Champagne made from three different wine grapes with a splash of ice wine! Service was excellent and they made us feel very special! We loved how educated the staff was when it came to their fine cuisine and spirits, and also how sharing they were with their knowledge! The atmosphere was warm and romantic!
We would highly recommend this winery as a must visit for traveling lovers!
