Nice rooftop patio.
Been here for brunch a couple of times and it was great french toast and great benedicts!! Decided to try for dinner. Meal was really underwhelming. The server was very nice and sweet but was super slow, and it took forever just to get a cocktail and place our order. When the smal lplates came, they came in one giant wave instead of a little bit of pacing. The lobster in the lobster tacos was spoiled, we sent them back, and never once had anyone ask why, provide a substitute or offer to take them off the bill. Stick to brunch it's your better option here. There was a private party which made for a lot of confusion and even with the nice open atmosphere, it was so loud that you had to scream to be heard.
Server was very kind and accommodating. But The Peadl was understaffed. Food was late coming out and luke warm. Bery cool old Hollywood vibe. Fun atmosphere.
Made reservations at 1 pm for a Saturday brunch. We were seated right away, next to a hot fireplace, but it was a cold windy day, so it didn't bother us much. At first the service was great, until our server started making drinks at the bar and getting her attention became difficult. $12 for one glass of mimosa is kind of ridiculous but I guess it's the location. I've had $12 bottomless in the bay area. Food was great.
this place is AMAZING. I came at night once and we decided to come back for a friend’s birthday and the people with us who had never been loved it. lobster tacos are amazing but the mac n cheese is literally the best thing ever. only downside was the weather and the heaters weren’t keeping us completely warm but that’s fine.
I really enjoyed the drinks, HOWEVER there was piece of broken glass that I sucked up with my straw. Thankfully I felt it it before i swallowed it. It was pretty busy and out server also seemed a bit overwhelmed. The food was decent. I think I need to give t another try.
It was bad-ok experience just wasn’t what I was looking for. Food was ok not great but not bad. Felt crammed barely could fit between the tables even for very slim people. Very loud and energetic. Was looking for something more romantic with nice views did have a beautiful view but only 3 tables with good view so u have to be lucky. If you are looking for a pre party place with friends it’s a great place if ur looking romantic quiet evening look somewhere else
The service was really good. This place is more for like happy hour. Their drinks are good but I honestly didn’t like the food. Both the chicken and the steak lacked seasoning and taste. Wouldn’t come back for dinner but would for happy hour.
The food was good, it was expensive, which is fine. The waitress was fantastic. The GM was such an airhead, was a turn off to me: it almost looked like he had a drug problem. He came to our table, tried to upsell is in lobster bisque ( which my date said he would try ) and also on a 90usd bottle of champagne. He did not follow through and so he did not follow up if we had the bisque and how the service was. As a matter of fact when we left I had to pass him as he was doing the same spiel at the table over and he did not even thank us for coming. I spent 150 for 2 people: I think the GM should not go to tables, I would not go there again bc they are just out for my money. I feel bad for the waitresses who are so friendly.
A transcendant experience despite a rough rough start with a bad vibe at a table next to us that resolved itself. May be my new go to restaurant after living in LA 33 years and around the corner from THERE since it opened but never made it in.
Great food, great drinks (although pricey), service not so great but awesome ambience
Our server Vanessa was great! Love the $1 oyster special.
I went there for Brunch. Our waitress was amazing! she made my birthday feel special. I would definitley go back there with friends again.
We made a reservation for 6 people at 8pm and our entire party was on time (which is a miracle in itself) and we had to wait for a good 25-30 minutes before our table was ready. The space is small so for 6 of us to be standing around in everyone’s way with nowhere to really loiter, it was kind of irritating. Thought we made reservations to avoid that but! Food was good. Mules were delicious.
Loved the ambiance and service. Will definitely be coming back! Must try their happy hour oysters!
They didn't do much to keep it warm, it was a particularly cold night. More heat lamps would have helped
we selected this restaurant because of rooftop dinning. The food was excellent once we got it. Unfortunately we had to ask several times where our food was. Our waitress was excellent but it appeared the restaurant was short staff. Since my family has been in the restaurant business I know that staff can get sick but if that was the case, someone should have let us know. We were celebrating a special friends birthday and this was the first time we dine here.
Relaxed yet magical environment, nice service combined with very good food!
Our host was very attentive and we had a great dinner.
Fabulous experience all around !!
The ambiance was very cute, could totally have a quaint get together just based on the ambiance but the food was just ok nothing special and the service was good. Just to experience it once is good enough.
Went for brunch. The space is really cool and good for groups, but the service is terrible and the food is bad.
The food was great! $1 oyster shooters & $32 for a 2-lb lobster! Great meal & great co
The music was pretty loud, so it was hard to hear my friend speak. The waitress didn't tell us her name. So we didn't know who to ask for; it was hard to get her attention. The lobster was very good, but overlooked.
The experience was awful. The service was bad and the food was worse. The manager took our order and screwed everything up. After dinner, the manager came by the table to ask how everything was. When we told him our concerns, his only response was "wow, I'm sorry I stopped by your table to ask about dinner ". I'm serious. He actually said that!!
The food was cold and poorly plated, and the servers never turned the heater on after multiple request. The scenic view advertised is just a mini-mart and tanning salon! All in all, very disappointed and don't plan on returning.
nice view, great mixology, average share plates, service average. delicious cocktails
Our waitress was awesome! So friendly and accommodating. The noise from Sunset can be loud when sitting on the rooftop but it's expected. We had a wonderful time. Try the mimosa kit!
super cute spot! great view of sunset blvd.
the food was delicious too. we had the mac n cheese, oysters and spicy chicken sandwich. we loved it all!
great waitress :)
Casual ambiance with a view on a clear night. Tasty food and good service.
Cool place, lovely bartender/waitress, food is good; wine list very limited; food ordering has the pattern of bars: all come at once, no particular order or priority. Fun place nonetheless.
The food was good, but to me most food in that area is good. What I loved was the ambiance and the staff. EVERY SINGLE PERSON WORKING WAS SUPER NICE AND COURTEOUS!! Nothing but great energy!! We felt very comfortable.
Absolute spectacular! And the mimosas are too die for. You must must must visit this place! You'll regret it if you don't.
This place is amazing!! The food was awesome--we ordered a bunch of smaller dishes and shared and it was perfect. The service was also outstanding. Our server was friendly and helpful and really the whole experience was perfect. Highly recommend!
This was a very nice date night spot. They even gave us the prime table overlooking the street. Good food. Would definitely go back. I’ve heard brunch is fun there as well.
Funky, tasty great view and location.
My first time here & this place was so cute for brunch ! I had made a reservation online for 6 & that was the max , but ended up bringing 7 people & they happily accommodated ! It was for brunch with my girls for my birthday & they were so sweet & I got a cute birthday card from the restaurant from all the staff! It was the sweetest thing !
Their mimosa kit was so cute & delicious!! The food was amazing too!
I would def recommend this place & come back again !
We had a great brunch! Our server (Evan) was great too. My only real issue was that the menu was not up-to-date. The espresso machine had been broken for months (I couldn't believe that), yet espresso drinks were on the menu. I was disappointed to hear I could not have the cappuccino I had ordered. Also, the items listed in the Mimosa Kit were not all included when it arrived, another example of an old menu.
Highly recommend the grilled cheese bites! Yum! Service was solid and the rooftop space is great.
