Pearl's Rooftop Ratings and Reviews
The experience was awful. The service was bad and the food was worse. The manager took our order and screwed everything up. After dinner, the manager came by the table to ask how everything was. When we told him our concerns, his only response was "wow, I'm sorry I stopped by your table to ask about dinner ". I'm serious. He actually said that!!
My first time here & this place was so cute for brunch ! I had made a reservation online for 6 & that was the max , but ended up bringing 7 people & they happily accommodated ! It was for brunch with my girls for my birthday & they were so sweet & I got a cute birthday card from the restaurant from all the staff! It was the sweetest thing !
Their mimosa kit was so cute & delicious!! The food was amazing too!
I would def recommend this place & come back again !
We had a great brunch! Our server (Evan) was great too. My only real issue was that the menu was not up-to-date. The espresso machine had been broken for months (I couldn't believe that), yet espresso drinks were on the menu. I was disappointed to hear I could not have the cappuccino I had ordered. Also, the items listed in the Mimosa Kit were not all included when it arrived, another example of an old menu.
Went for dinner and was pleasantly satisfied so decided to go back for brunch for a friends birthday and wasn't pleased. The brunch was kinda meager and the taste wasn't too great. I've had better at perch. The prices were a little high as well for the little bit of food u get.
I can't express how much I love this place. Seating is on a cute little patio on the second floor. I went there for the first time earlier this month and loved it so much, I decided to go again a couple days ago. Both times we were greeted with a friendly host and service was great. Food is amazing! We ordered different dishes and shared. Everything we ordered was perfect. This is definitely my new favorite place!
My husband and a colleague from work dined at Pearl's following a private screening at the London Hotel. Our server never introduced herself, nor did she display any interest in doing her job. Her attention was focused on another table where 3 of her friends were. It continued to disappoint, had to doctor my $14 cocktail with lemon and lime to liven it up and our friend's rose was warm. Our friend ordered the Quinoa & Kale salad, which resisted all attempts to season it. My husband's "very rare" steak arrived medium-well and 30 minutes the re-fire arrived but, without the herb butter (that took 10 more minutes to arrive at our table). We notified our server - who was annoyed to be pulled from her friends -- and management, who did not charge for the steak and a beer. A nice gesture, but, not enough to erase the bad experience. Needless to say, we will not go there again and cannot recommend it, either. The one very notable exception to the poor service was Fernando, who was incredibly courteous, attentive and responsive. He should be promoted from busser to server -- at a better restaurant.
Great place to have a cocktail, nice ambiance. Food was not so impressive. We got the lobster mac n' cheese, and I swear it was pasta with melted velveeta and some chunks of lobster. Not so special and not worth the 28$ price tag. It came cold, as did the brussel sprouts. Service was good. They did heat up the cold food, but even warm the mac n cheese did not impress. The sprouts fared better, flavorful and slightly charred. Overall a place I would go for drinks, not food.
We had a reservation for 8:30 pm we arrived around 8:20 and walked up the stairs stood at entrance waiting for someone to greet us for about 7 minutes and no one ever came up, then another group walked in and asked if we seat ourselves or wait we said we have reservations so we assumed that we should wait well someone from that group decided to go look for someone and he came back and said they said to seat ourselves. The waitress was not that great. The guy that brought our food was very nice and worked really hard he seemed like the only one working. The waitress was too busy flirting at the bar. The food was good when it arrived.
