Great service, great meal!
Had a wonderful meal. Window table but there honestly isn't a bad seat to be had. Tori, our server, was awesome. Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. No surprise. We were greeted with smiles and we left laughing at joke with the hostess. I highly recommend reservations. This place fills up fast and is very popular. And for the right reasons...the food and the service. Do yourselves a favor, get off the river walk and get to Pearl's. You won't be disappointed.
We spent a hole weekend in Savannah, and Pearl's was a hidden gem we discovered on our last night there. Hidden just past a neighborhood in Sandfly, Pearl's was about a 15 minute drive from the historic district of Savannah. Our waitress was great and offered stellar suggestions. My girlfriend and I both ended up ordering the same entree, the Chef's Favorite, and everything on that plate was mouth-wateringly perfect. We were in town for a wedding, and I recommended Pearl's to everyone I had a conversation with. With definitely revisit on my next trip to Savannah.
Beautiful marsh view. Excellent service. Very fresh ingredients and creative seasonings. MDP loved his shrimp with linguine, feta, tomato. All perfect. My Wahoo, a special, was a bit overcooked and dry but the seasoning of the orzo, freshness of the sauteed spinach and pesto sauce on the fish made the dish very tasty. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Our server was wonderful, ambiance lovely, prices very fair. A most relaxing evening.
We enjoyed taking out-of-town guests to dinner there so they could sit at a local waterfront restaurant and enjoy seafood. The crab & shrimp au gratin, she-crab soup, crab cakes, fried shrimp and hush puppies were all good.
We've been to the Saltwater Grill many times over many years and have never been disappointed. The food is great as is the service and the wonderful marsh view.
Wonderful service, requested view seat and were pleased. BEST HUSHPUPPIES ever which they serve in place of bread. Seafood was fresh and tasty.
The food was fresh and delicious. Our server was very attentive. Enjoyed our meal immensely. Wine list was great and reasonably priced. Would definitely return.
When I am in Savannah, I always try to go to Pearl's Saltwater Grille. One of my favorite restaurants in Savannah and I lived there previously for many years.
We were visiting family and friends in Savannah and always like to go to Pearls for dinner. They didn’t disappoint!
I Love this restaurant. The food is delicious. Staff is great. My favorite dish.
My wife and I have eaten many times at the Salt Water Grille. The waterfront view is wonderful, especially as the sun starts to set. The food is very good but a little pricey for what you get. However, overall I highly recommend Pearls.
Service was excellent I had the honey glazed fried chicken and it was crispy and tender excellent flavor. The mud pie was incredible
My husband had the fried shrimp dinner and I enjoyed the Asian appetizer with scallops. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with Houston, our waiter, about the Dolphin, named Chad, as we sat and watched for him to reappear . Especially liked having a table right by the window—a wonderful setting.
Great table by the window, excellent service from start to finish. Seared tuna delicious, as was the parmesan calamari. Kiddie chicken tenders were hot and fresh. Pearl’s is always a safe bet and a real treat for visitors.
Great seafood as always. My go to restaurant for a nice meal outside of the historic district. Amazing view, great menu, and great staff. I’ve been many times, and always have a great meal.
Meal was excellent. Great atmosphere. Food was fresh. Service was friendly and helpful. A real local gem. Highly recommend
Great views from our window seat! Good service, good food, and wonderful views of the tide rolling in. We thoroughly enjoyed Pearl’s Saltwater Grill, and recommend it strongly.
Pearl’s was recommended by our Airbnb host and we were very impressed. Great seafood selection and still a delicious steak on the menu for the non fish eaters. A very good experience.
Visiting from Coastal VA. Really disappointed that, in trying 3 of the most highly-rated seafood restaurants, none had shrimp- whether broiled or fried- that can match the size and taste found at three of our fave Virginia Beach spots...bummer. FABULOUS service though!
BTW: those VA Beach, VA spots: One Fish Two Fish, Lucky Oyster, and Steinhilber's.
We requested and received the window table that was next to the outside deck. The service was friendly, prompt and professional. We had the right amount of time to catch up with old friends and enjoy our cocktails before our delicious dinners were served. But at least six children were allowed to run and yell on the outside deck, come up to our the window by our table and make faces and basically became a huge distraction and proceeded to degrade our dining experience considerably. We asked our server if this could be stopped but the on duty manager would not intercede and the kids kept the running and yelling up till we left. I cannot believe it's not appropriate to ask the parents of these children to get to cool it. This deck is not a playground nor did we go out to have our evening spoiled. At the very least asking kids to stop running on the deck could have done for safety's sake. I will not return to Pearl's again.
I’ve been to Pearl’s many times and I’m never disappointed. The food was great. The service was even better and the ambiance was superior!
We enjoyed the food and service at Pearls. Houston was our server and he gave us outstanding service. We truly enjoyed every moment and will be back.
Great food! Beautiful views of the marsh. We were looking for good seafood and steaks and we got it.
Nice relaxing place, even on Easter when we went. Beautiful views and decent value.
In the past I would have given the restaurant a perfect 5 and recommendations for almost anything. However, my last visit was very disappointing. My food came under cooked. The current portion size is not equal to the value being paid. One of tge thimgs i used to love most was the amount of food and quality of the food for the money
We came to Savannah for Easter weekend, a friend told us about Pearls, words can not describe the ambiance, the food was amazing and the view just mesmerizing! Service was perfect, made great memories!
Always a destination when I come up to see my daughter and son-in-law. Consistently good with easy reservations, food quality and selection and great service.
Diner was good, never been there before would definitely bring visiting family there, Dutch treat of course. Restaurant sat us quickly, but somehow did not have our reservation. It was through open table and i had my confirmation number.
This is my family's favorite restaurant, so whenever my girls come home from college and work, we go here! We love the hushpuppies and we love the view!
Awesome time tonight!!
Had friends from up north staying at our home in the Landings and wanted to give them a memorable experience to remember. Y’all hit it out of the park! They couldn’t stop talking about the food (especially the hush puppies that just kept on coming), the ambiance and the service. Thank you for everything!
Great atmosphere here at Pearl's...the décor is cabin like with an amazing view of the Herb Marsh. It's really well worth the drive as it's slightly off the beaten path because all of our meals were fantastic! I'm thinking in the nine days we were down in the area, Pearl's was the best bang for our buck. Would recommend this dining experience to anyone!!
We love going to Pearl's for the She Crab soup and the Hush Puppies. We love sitting by the windows and enjoying the view. It took quite a while to get our drinks from the bar. But the Shrimp Nachos distracted us for a bit.
We were a party of three but were seated at a 4 top right by the dock and the river..excellent views. Everyone was pleased with the food, service, atmosphere. I like Pearl's a lot, not least b/c it's not downtown, has few tourists, and has excellent seafood.
Superb. Consistent. Diverse menu including pick you fish, your preparation, and your sauce. Can’ Beat the view either.
Our family drove from a stay in downtown Savannah and thought the drive was worth it. The weather was a little too chilly to eat outside, but we were seated at the large windows overlooking the beautiful marsh. It was a great view. Our server was excellent! She was attentive and helpful with our age range of kids. We shared the delicious fried green tomatoes. Everyone thought their seafood was very well prepared. The trout in the pecan crusted trout was very good, pecan crust was too plain for me personally. Crab cakes were very good as was the shrimp.
