Pearl's Saltwater Grille
….enjoyed overlooking the Herb River
Nestled in the heart of Sandfly lies one of the most closely guarded secrets when it comes to seafood restaurants. Pearl's Saltwater Grille has been a local favorite for more than twenty years. The menu is a Seafood Lover's Paradise. From Parmesan Crusted Grouper to Crab Stuffed Flounder to Jumbo Grilled Caribbean Shrimp there is something for everyone at Pearl's Saltwater Grille. Landlovers may select from choice steaks, chicken or pasta specialties.
Enjoy the Spectacular view of the Georgia coastline and the wild life that inhabits the marshlands while you dine.
A friend recommended this restaurant a year ago when we relocated. The service and the food was great. Customer service is excellent as well. The 4 of us ordered 4 different meals and we all enjoyed everything on our plate. I was happy the Pecan crusted rainbow trout was nicely seasoned but not salty. We will be back.
For over 25 years, when I am in Savannah , I always try to eat at Pearl's, and it is always great!
I truly enjoyed myself! I felt welcome and you don't receive that everywhere you by the hostess. My waiter Aaron was very nice and polite. The food was delicious and those hush puppies was off the chain. The atmosphere was very nice and casual. I will most definitely return.
This restaurant has superb food, not just a great view. They have standards like fried seafood, but also a pick you fish, your preparation, and your sauce. And they have done very creative dishes as well if you want to branch out. For example, I had the shrimp and scallops spinach risotto. It was spectacular!
Always a great experience at Pearl’s! Highly recommend this restaurant! One of our favorites in Savannah!
Was really nice the view was great and so was the food ‼️
Always dependable and a wonderful setting. Definitely one of our local go-to favorites. We'll be back again...
We enjoy dining at Pearls. I love that I can make reservations online and request a particular type of table. The food is reliably consistent and well prepared. The fish is always great!
Pearl's is out go to family restaurant for fresh seafood with a great setting on the marshes and easy parking! Servers are always welcoming and helpful even when very busy. Fantastic choise for seafood lovers fried or cooked to order with rice and veggies. My tuna was not quite as fresh as usual ie sushi grade but still good quality. This was possibly because it was a Sunday night.
Beautiful sunset views. Great service and delicious food
The outside is deceptive. It was crowded, but worth the wait. Staff was very courteous.
Everything was good. Everyone liked what they got except one person. They left a lot of the salmon covered Mexican dish.
First time there and we loved it. Food was amazing and our waiter was very accommodating.
Stuff flounder was excellent!! Wife got shrimp three ways and thought they were just ok! View was spectacular
Fantastic dining experience just off the beaten path!
My shrimp and scallops risotto was nothing to brag about. I exchanged it for the shrimp and oysters and was satisfied.
The early bird pre fix menu is a good value. I got a glass of Chardonnay, sweet corn hush puppies, She crab soup (delicious!), fantail shrimp, spicy fries, coleslaw and peach cobbler for $23.95. Our server was very attentive and helpful with the menu.
Our first time there and ready
To go back. Great cocktails, and food. Server and manager could not have been nicer
Tonight there were 5 of us. Everyone had a thoroughly delightful meal. The service was good. The good, both appetizers and mains, were all excellent!
The crab stuffed flounder was amazing! Also enjoyed Parmesean crustes grouper with crab and risotto. Fresh seafood choices were fantastic.
Made reservations days in advance but was sat in bar with view of dilapidated building next door instead of water. Server was good, but food was just average. Scallop appetizer was tasty. Steamed shrimp lacked seasoning and was served with overcooked corn and coleslaw that tasted of mayo only. My husband's pecan crusted fish was ok but not equal to other fish dinners we've had elsewhere. Mixed drinks were weak. Parking is difficult. Not a bad experience but not a redo or recommendion.
This was our first time trying the restaurant and I would go back. It is not fancy but the setting overlooking the water is peaceful and lovely. I had requested a table with a view and when i checked in for my reservation, and asked if they had gotten my request, I was told that they couldn't guarantee it. Sort of a snarky response in the way it was delivered. Then when we went into the dining room, it was far from full...got the table by the window but just not sure why the other was a necessary way to respond to me. Food was quite good and the portion was more than ample! Waitress was pleasant but I had to ask for other wait people to pour me more water twice. Service was not speedy with the check either, but all in all, a nice night.
Kate was our server and did a fantastic job! Very attentive and answered all of our questions. Food was delicious. We had the crab legs, swordfish and shrimp & crab au gratin. So good!
As expected, awesome food and service! Went for a birthday dinner and it was fantastic!
We drive from Macon Ga just to eat here few times a year. Best food and atmosphere. And our waitress was absolutely great.
The view from this restaurant is outstanding! It provides a very serene and calming ambiance for your meal. The food was delicious and very creative. Everything was excellent.
Needs to be redesigned. It is very dated and dark.....
We had a party of six & with reservations were seated right away. The food was mediocre at very best. One person ordered the fish tacos and there was one small piece of fish per taco. There should have been two- three pieces to fill the taco. Only one person thought the food was good. Of course, the hush puppies were amazing!
We were entertaining out of town guests and won’t risk it again. Disappointed.
Both our food and server were awesome!! We will be back for our wedding anniversary dinner in a couple of months!
Mediocre in all regards
Nice views on the water. Service was very good and food was delicious. Really enjoyed the experience.
We had a wonderful Birthday meal. Got to sit by the window and the food was Great !!! Service was excellent..We just had a great time. Always the best place to eat! Thanks
The food was good but definitely not worth the money that we paid. The portions of seafood were very small. The only dish that really seemed to be worth what was charged was the stir fry with pasta.
Excellent. Excellent and Excellent. Great Oysters Dufuski. Great seafood mains. Good service. Great views.
Atmosphere was very coastal with beautiful view of the water. Food was one of the best of our trip to Savannah and we ate at some very nice restaurants in the city. Would def recommend the trip outside the city.
Probably our best visit yet. Food was excellent as was the service. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was our view wasn't as good as we usually have. Highly recommend!
My husband’s swordfish was not hot and a new one was made. After getting it, the rest of the party had finished their meals. Very disappointing! However, the cheesecake was excellent!
Best hush puppies I’ve ever had! Loved my 3-way shrimp. Collards very tasty; grits OK. She-crab soup very good. Husband had shrimp risotto—also very good.
Had an excellent meal and the staff were wonderful.
