Since moving to the area we have been very disappointed in the ability to find high quality restaurants. Some have opened and did not survive. Others have seemed to be continuously changing management. The local clientele do not seem to want to support restaurants other than chain establishments and those hard-to-find gems like the Pearl don't seem to last. So, finally, we have found our "special" place and we intend to support it whenever possible.

The food is very creative and prepared well. Many herbs used and flowers as well. Definitely fresh "farm to table" dining. Welcoming feeling by staff.

This is a great place for locally sourced meals. The food is great and the atmosphere is unique.
Do not let the outside appearance fool you. This is a gormet dining spot with country appeal.

we were disappointed for two reasons. Neither were the about food and or the present of the food. We were celebrating our 37th anniversary with dearest of friends. We called prior to arriving to ask about corkage as we were bringing some pretty hefty wines for dinner and the list, while very nice for what it was, didn't offer what we were bringing.. so we asked the question. We were given a price for corkage. Very fair-priced on their lowest priced bottle. However upon presenting of the bill, we were charged for 5 bottles, a steep increase. Additionally because we are Onophiles, we brought our own stemware, appropriate for the vintages and grape. one of my Reidel Extremes was broken. I get that things happen but it was MY stem. I have asked for a replacement. Hopefully I will receive. I did share my concern with an owner about the corkage. Had we known up front about the corkage, we may have made changes in our decisions. I thought we asked the correct questions.

We have been very excited to visit Pearl in the Grove since learning of it last year. I moved to Tampa from the Northeast and was so excited to learn of this quality restaurant located in such a rural and less populated area. The 30-minute drive from where we were staying at Southern Hills was very much worth it. Service was friendly and well-paced and the food did not disappoint. The pork cheeks appetizer and pappardelle were our favorite of the four dishes we tried.

We will make the trip to return again!

This is the third time I have been there. Each time I have introduced someone new to this wonderful dining experience. Our server, Cadance was a gem as usual. We ordered two appetizers, one was eggplant fries with a spicy fruit sauce that was out of this world and the cheese plate a mango sauce which was superb. Our entrees were presented beautifully and tasted even better. My husband and I will be back.

A lovely evening...pasta with shrimp was fresh and delicious !!

My wife had the catfish and love it. We had the eggplant fries as an appetizer with a great homemade ketchup.

Paul recommend a nice white wine and provided excellent service !!
