Hostess not so friendly. Service was wonderful. Food was delicious. Lettuce wraps are amazing. Would highly recommend.

I love eating at Pearl East. The food is always delicious!

The food was excellent but the service left something to be desired. We were rushed through our meal. The waiter gave us the check without being asked and seemed annoyed when we wanted dessert.
I was really disappointed

We have been here a few times and the food was very good as usual. They do need to improve on their service. Lot of the waiters don't speak English well and it's hard to communicate at times. We still plan to go back to this place.

This is not only the best Chinese restaurant on LI, but one of the best restaurants - period.
Their ying/yang shrimp is sweet, but to die for - seriously. Their hot and sour, delicious - but it's the soup dumplings we keep coming back for. OMG - aside of Chinatown in the city, these are the best on LI.

Our favorite Chinese Restaurant on Long Island. The food is very fresh and tasty - we love the jumbo shrimps in a white sauce and their noodles - chow Fun or lo mein. We have a great waiter who meticulously takes our order and makes sure we are happy.
Don’t go without a reservation as they get very crowded some nights and the wait can be a long one.

The best Chinese and Japanese food ever! They have unbelievable sushi!! Cathy the owner is a gracious wonderful host. The staff are sweet and kind and want to make you happy.

I always enjoy this restaurant -- good food, not always such pleasant service. I'll try to avoid, in the future, a Friday evening; even with a reservation, we waited nearly 30 min. The service was very under-rated. How do you forget to bring hot tea in a Chinese restaurant?

Great place to get some of very best Chinese Food in the Metro NY area! Its always packed but the staff is friendly, attentive and they never rush you and drop the check. Pricey, may be a little but you don't mind it after receiving such a great experience!

Excellent restaurant! I love the chicken with lemongrass. The rice paper shrimp rolls are delicious. The lobster in black bean sauce also great. If you feel like having soup try the house special soup. Good for 2 people. Sushi is always fresh. If it is your first time dining in this restaurant try one of the dim sum dishes. You will be impressed by the presentation. This is by far the best Chinese restaurant. The owner always makes it feel like you are eating in her home. She stays on top of every detail. This is why you get excellent service along with excellent food.

WE ATTENDED THE CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION WHICH DID NOT DISAPPOINT US. THE FOOD WAS WELL PRESENTED AND VERY TASTY. AS WE EXPECTED-TOO MUCH FOOD FOR ONE NIGHT. FUN EVENING WITH THE LION DRAGON DANCE AND DRUMMING.

We come almost every week and it is always a fabulous experience. They serve consistently the best Chinese food we have ever eaten. Kathy, the owner, is always around and her team is well trained.

If you are looking for old school Chinese food with the old school style this is the place to go. We have been going for years and not once have we been disappointed. We have recommended this restaurant to so many people and they all love it.

As usual the food was great. We went to celebrate my birthday, the one thing I did not like was we felt rushed as if they just wanted us out so they could turn the table. There was a group of 7 of us and we were trying to celebrate my birthday and have a nice dinner. They kept coming over to as if we were done. They brought the check over and didn't even ask if we wanted dessert, which we did. When we told the waiter we wanted dessert it was like he was annoyed. The whole experience ruined my birthday dinner.

I've eaten at many Chinese restaurants over the decades, but Pearl East has the best food, bar none. The quality of the food is exceptional. For example, their shrimp dumpling appetizer tastes so fresh that you'd think they just caught the fish. Main dishes are equally excellent and the service is top notch. Most highly recommended!
