It didn’t matter that we had reservations through Open Table - they never acknowledged them and did not seat us near a great view as requested. And we asked about it so we were moved a bit closer but then we got a note from Open table stating we had not shown up! We had!

Food was alright and waitress was very pleasant

Go for the views. Food was average. Blue cheese burger was tasty, beef/pork meatloaf, just ok.

Excellent venue for a special occasion and to enjoy a special meal. Pricey, although main dishes offered good portions. The appetizers were too expensive, with very little provided. Had we known this, we would have skipped the appetizers. We ordered two of them. The waiter could have been more attentive, as he kept forgetting one of our party's drink refill and never asked if we wanted more alcoholic beverages after our first one when we were seated. All around, a good experience.

I ordered the meat loaf and the out side of the loaf was hard as a rock over cooked or fried. My wife ordered the pasta and the noodles had no flavor

I wasn’t t expecting terrific food , I’d read enough on yelp saying it was not good, but I was ok with that as I wanted to go for the view and experience; but even so it really does need updating. I had the brick chicken which was cooked to perfection but was served with potatoes and yellow parsnip was the vegetable! Terrible choice ! Where was the green, broccoli spinach or zucchini! The martini was sugar syrup, no alcohol in it that I could taste. This is Palm Springs home of the Martini!! How did they manage that ! The portabello flatbread was great, tho too much Brie overall. And the bruschetta was chunky and way too garlicky with no herbs , couldn’t eat it. The view was the winner and our waitress was fabulous!
I wish it was better as I would’ve gone again with visitors and friends, but not until someone with a vision brings it into the realm of a magical destination that it deserves.

Overpriced and bad service. My hamburger was ordered medium. Came well done and dry. It was mostly bun. My wife's salmon was on the rare side. It was eatable.

The restaurant's main draw is the view of the Coachella valley. The food was average and there isn't much of a selection. The restaurant was crowded with some large parties and that really negatively affected service. All that being said, the brownie sundae dessert was amazing.

As a couple on vacation for the 1st time in Palm Springs a lot of people told us to go eat here for the view 8,500+ feet high. Well the view was just the lights of the city since it was dark.
Also when you have a reservation I think it should be known you still have to pay $26.50 per person to ride the team to the top of the mountain. Again you see darkness & twinkling city lights. There should be a voucher to refund your tram ride.
Get there & very few people eating. We were all pretty much crowded at 1 end of the restaurant. Given our menus then waited 15 minutes for anybody to come by to either give us water or take our order. Meanwhile there were 2 waiters serving the tables on either side of us. We must’ve been invisible to them?
When our waiter brought our water he was going to drop & leave. My wife said we’d like to order dinner & drinks now too & he didn’t have his pad to write on. So he had to come back. After we ordered the waiter asked if we’d like a bread tray? Yes! Well our Wedge Salads came 15 mins later & still no bread or my Iced Tea & my wife’s glass of wine. We asked for substitutions on the wedge which they did with no problem.
The waiter came by with our drinks about 5 minutes later, (he didn’t deliver the salads) & looked at our table & my wife said we still didn’t get the bread tray. We’ve been there over a 1/2 hour at this point with poor service.
Finally our dinners arrived at 7:45pm. How do I know? Because I looked at my watch because the staff were cleaning tables & putting the chairs up on the tables, including the table next to us, as they closed at 8pm. My Flat Iron Steak was good, not great, but my wife’s chicken was not cooked well. It was ‘Rubbery’. The side dishes of vegetables & potatoes were small portions. We decided not to send her chicken back because we figured if they were closing up the dining area it would be highly doubtful the chef would want to re-cook the meal.
In all it was overpriced & don’t waste your time going!
