Favorite restaurant in the grove! Mood is perfect food is excellent service is over the top!!!
My husband and I went here for a date night. The lighting was perfect and dim. The food was amazing the filet was cooked very well. Side order brussel sproats with bacon delicious. Desert the brownie and vanilla ice cream was so amazing the margaritas were very good as well. The staff was very nice and professional always made sure we had everything we wanted and needed. The music was very soft and pleasant to hear for relaxing. Highly recommand for married people and couples for a nice romantic relaxing dinner. We would difinately be coming back to this place for our special date nights and anniversary
What a treasure!!! The outdoor seating was lovely this evening with string lights and a fan. Our party was quickly accommodated and every request met. The food was simple but absolutely stunning. From a green salad to the seafood platter, everyone enjoyed their entree to the last bite. The steak was also popular at our table. We left nothing but clean plates all around, including the cheese plate and desert course (definitely go for the key lime pie). Would surely return again!
I 've eaten there before but, this time, the food was especially food. I usually choose this venue becaus it is not noisy
My girlfriend and I went for our anniversary and it was perfect. We typically visit here on that occasion and it’s always the best service we can ask for.
It is a very nice restaurant with excellent service and delicious food ! Been there several times and I love it .
Great Birthday diner. Delicious food, excellent service, great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Ordered the Miami Spice steak and it was of poor quality and not cooked as ordered. Otherwise, the food was very good and so was the service. We will return
Great overall experience. Seated outdoors however they provide seating both indoor and outdoor. Great service - drinks always filled and food arrived in a timely manner. Recommended overall for a great dining experience in the Grove.
My friend and I had the Miami Spice menu, which was wonderful. Especially the guava cheese bread pudding dessert reminded me of the Bahamian Guava duff.
The decoration is also very charming and the service was great.
Staff was amazing, food was delicious.
Perfect in the fact that this place is thee cutest place ever. Our drinks were superb, the Beretta is always the best ever. My brothers scallops were delish. My sea bass was a bit over cooked, and the crab cakes were not peacock garden worthy. All in all. Nice dinner out
this is a great place with great food and sadly i never knew about it. an exquisite patio area and perfect weather. had a great ribeye with the miami spice menu, and there was even a special on wines! nice people there!
We were lucky because it wasn’t too full. We arrived at 7:20 and were seated right away.
We were served water, then our server Erica came over to get our drink order. We told her that we were eating from the Miami Spice menu and that we’d be getting one of each from the menu.
She then said that she’d send some French bread to begin.
The drinks took a relatively long time, considering that the restaurant was not too full.
The bread arrived and it was delicious- toasty and warm.
Then the appetizers arrived- the burrata cheese with heirloom tomatoes and the lobster ravioli- both were outstanding!
Then after a while, the main course arrived- a rib eye steak with Parmesan mashed potatoes and the other one was seared scallops with hummus and a side salad with heirloom tomato and some sundried slivers of tomato. Both courses were really good.
The dessert took some time to arrive- we had the walnut chocolate cake served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a coconut foam with berries. Both were delicious!
We’d definitely come back for brunch!
Great ambiance! Great place that’s a hidden Jem! Cool indoor outdoor historical area. Nice place to come have champagne and appetizers. Not really worth the Miami spice but that’s our point of view and it’s not going to keep us away. But we know what not to order the next time and we are happy we tried it. Salad delicious, hard to disappoint on a burrata salad but that’s about it 😕 Don’t have the heart to go sour in a review! We didn’t say anything as we selected and received what we ordered. Service was good not sure it matched our price point but it was good.
Our server was especially gracious. I think her name is Aria ? She’s only been at the restaurant for one month but she made our night out (even in the driving rain) very special!
Super friendly food delicious and service was very good. Pretty setting outside but then storm came and they quickly and smoothly got everyone in a situated inside.
Great choices for outdoor seating, indoor seating, and bar seating. Outdoor seating is shaded and wonderful. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Service was excellent and food was delicious. We took advantage of the Miami Spice menu but all prices on the regular menu are reasonable. All in all, a very enjoyable visit
Always delicious. Quality food and great service. The best bread pudding in town.
Très bel endroit pour passer un bon moment au calme. Il y a de la bonne musique.
Les plats sont généreux et bons.
Parking public juste à côté donc pas besoin de chercher à se garer.
Really loved the scenery and ambience of the place! The food was amazing and definitely recommend the dirt pot dessert which was amazing!
It was a very nice day. Food was great and the staff was very friendly
Always over the top
I don’t usually write bad reviews but here goes... the ambiance was very nice and when I made the reservation the hostess was very kind but when I arrived the server was very rude and treated my guests ( a table of 9) very rudely. It was my birthday and the server literally forgot MY dish. He treated us like we were children mind you, a table of 21-24 year olds. He wouldn’t let us finish talking when we ordered he didn’t listen and was rushing the whole time. Very bad service what a shame it was not like this before.
The service is excellent and the food is spectacular, I recommend this Restaurant.
Great service and delicious food
Normally, my experiences have been satisfactory, but the last dining experience was substandard; especially since I brought an out of town guest.. The food was horrible. Perhaps there was a different chef, but the crab cakes and chicken ceasar salad was horrible. The crab cakes were not fresh and salty. The chicken had a bad smell and perhaps was brined in a way that was not favorable to the chicken. Will never dine here again.
Lovely outdoor setting. Super pleasant staff. Food was terrific.
I understand the need for fans in an outdoor restaurant. Especially on a hot Miami summer afternoon. But the noise level from the 4-5 fans surrounding the outdoor patio was infernal. The noise ruined the beautiful garden ambiance.
In addition, from the high wind produced by the fans, one felt that a hurricane was quickly approaching.
Since there was no one in our area, we asked for the fan speed, which was set at Maximum, to be lowered. They promptly complied. But after 15-20 minutes, they raised the speed to the maximum again. Perhaps they thought that my date & I would not notice.
I suggest that management visit other outdoor restaurants in the area & see how they provide cool air without blowing the customers away.
Honestly one of the worse dining experiences in Miami. The service was so horrible we actually left before ordering food. I do not recommend this restaurant. The staff seemed less than interested and the servers had minimal if not zero knowledge of the food and wine menu.
Exceptional ossobuco ravioli. Beautiful looking restaurant
Peacock never disappoints had the pasta with truffle Parmesan and side of Salmon - excellent delicious and a lobster mango appetizer that was absolutely delicious
The staff was the BEST! I had lost my driver's license in the restroom and the manager had it in his pocket and said he was waiting me to come back because he was sure I would! That was such a relief!
The food and ambiance was lovely outdoors on a beautiful May day in Coconut Grove!
Waiter was too good for our table.. took him 30-45 min just to have someone else come order our drink. Gave us attitude during the order.. and we still gave him a 20 percent tip (to be the bigger people)
Dishes we got...
Shrimp pasta - bland, no flavor
Steak - ribeye - dry, no flavor, asked for medium got super well done
Scallops - ok but the curry sauce didn’t pair well.
Dessert - pot of dirt - not bad.. good to share
Only great thing was the bottle of wine I ordered..
Diverse menu in a secluded tropical setting in the heart of the Grove. Note: AC inside is always at a polar setting.
Server was friendly when he came to the table and took our order for drinks and food.
Then he forgot us. Our food was served, it was nothing special. Our server never came back to table.
After paying the check, I noticed that wonderful fresh bread was served to 2 tables as I was leaving. I asked the server why we did not receive any bread? He replied, Would you like some now!
I left & will never return!!!!!!!
The patio ambiance is adorable with bright colors and string lights. I was there for a first date and it was perfect. Service was exceptional -- our server checked on us constantly to make sure we were happy. The house rose was terrific and my date enjoyed their beer list. We only had appetizers so its hard to rate the food overall. The burrata was really good and I would recommend it highly; the calamari was pretty standard (tasted a little too fishy for my liking and a bit over-grilled).
3rd time there and still enjoy as much their patio as the first time I walked in.
Good food, and great ambiance !
Very nice little spot to sit outdoors on a nice night. Everything was amazing. I had the crab cakes, a pasta dish which was wow! And lobster and avocado salad, cheese board and to top it off with the dirt in a cup. Yum!
Great service great food. Wonderful night. Can’t wait to go back.
