Excellent food and service. I can’t wait to go back!

Quiet, pleasant Sunday brunch with my kids. Good food and excellent service.
Again and again Peacock Café does an excellent job making every guest feel special and welcome. PEACOCK EGGS CHESAPEAKE are always my favourite. Chef Maziar Farivar was himself at the front of the house greeting, connecting with, and checking on the guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Wonderful.. always a great time
Food and atmosphere was superb. We had a group of 9 and before everyone was there we asked about limits for dividing the bills on different credit cards. They said there was no limit and they would be happy to accommodate any arrangement. At the end of the meal the server handed each person an individual bill. I was amazed. Would definitely go back!
Lovely gem on a quiet side street in Georgetown! Indoor parking lot next door. Outdoor Lot across the street. Perfect menu, including breakfast at lunchtime! Food was delicious and beautifully served. This is now one of my favorites and I’ll be back with all of my friends.
New Year’s brunch was fantastic. The service was friendly, the food was scrumptious, the noise level low enough for everyone to hear the conversation at the table without straining. We will go again!
Fantastic food, chic ambiance,, and an extremely attentive staff make for an amazing dining experience. One of the best brunch locations in Georgetown DC. Great work by the owners/ chef Shahab and Maziar. Thumbs up!
Food and service were amazing! Only downside was the bathrooms were kind of gross.
My daughter and I went to Peacock Cafe for lunch for her birthday, which I noted on the reservation, and they did not acknowledge that which was a disappointment. The service was decent though not as attentive as it could have been given how quiet it was there at 1pm on a Friday. The tomato soup we both had was good but the arugula salad was such a small amount for a big price I was surprised. My daughter's omelet was fine but not great. We decided to opt out of coffee and desserts to beat the clock on the next hour of parking (at $6/hr)
We had a fantastic experience!!! The service and food is always excellent!!!
Just like, how I remembered the first experience back in the early 90s...
Our party of six arrived right when they opened and we were warmly greeted. The service was great, everyone loved their meal, and the place quickly started to fill up and take on an energetic vibe. We would definitely go back.
Very good service; lovely atmosphere. I was disappointed with my entree (Harvest Fetuccine); it was bland. My husband enjoyed his meal (rigatoni with chicken). I would try the Peacock Cafe again and order something different.
Excellent service and crew !!!
Always a great experience! Thank you so much!
Excellent food and service. Recommend for intimate or large party dining.
A reliably wonderful meal with excellent service and a welcoming ambiance!
I thoroughly enjoyed my evening at Cafe Peacock. I was meeting a close friend I hadn't seen for some time, so I wanted someplace relatively quiet restaurant where were we could have a conversation without shouting. Cafe Peacock was the perfect place. The ambiance is lovely -- attractive, cozy, fancy enough that you feel you are someplace special, yet casual enough that you do not feel out of place if you are not dressed up. When I arrived I was warming greeted and immediately shown to my table, even though I was early for my reservation. The server was very friendly and attentive throughout the evening. The menu has a nice mix of selections including fish, beef, chicken and vegetarian dishes. There are some unique dishes that I haven't seen elsewhere. For example, I had a pistachio soup which was fantastic! The wine selection was also nice. I will definitely return with my husband and other guests!
Peacock is one of the nicest restaurants in all of DC. The atmosphere, the great service, and the food are always top notch.
I would recommend Peacock to anyone for any meal.
Best place for brunch with besties and with family!!
Consistently good food, warm, classy ambience, great service. Our "go to"place for either casual meal or special celebration. Thank you!
Lovely place to meet for lunch with friends who have a baby. Not too loud or formal. And staff very friendly and efficient
Great food and lovely environment!
My favorite place for lunch, dinner and sunday brunch
Then really is no better neighborhood locally owned restaurant in DC. The food is top shelf casual.
Birthday celebration for a friend. Great service and atmosphere!
Excellent dining experience.
The food was delicious! Our server was great!. I have no complaints at all about this place. It is so cute and the ambiance was good. I will definitely return.
We made a reservation for 9am (the only time left) for six people. They called to confirm the day prior and I mentioned we now had four. They appreciated the update. When we arrived, at 9am, the hostess seating us made the point of telling us she would seat us but they didn't serve food until 9am. It was 9am. Odd! The service, however, was attentive and good (if a little cloying). They did "push" dessert after our breakfast but took away the menus when it was clear we weren't interested. I think it's location in Georgetown and proximity to Cafe Milano make make Peacock Cafe a bit of a "place to be seen," with all that accompanies that but the food is good and you can hear your companions when you are dining so that makes going worthwhile.
I love this restaurant!! The food is consistently great and the customer service is always so pleasant. Their french fries are the best in all of DC. Another favorite is their ahi tuna salad. If you are looking for a lovely lunch place or evening in Georgetown, you can't go wrong with Peacock Cafe!
Wonderful!! Everything was delicious and the waiter and staff were attentive and experienced. Although we were disappointed the meatloaf was not on the menu anymore, the vegetarian nachos were a great appetizer! We'll be back!
I had a grouper dish that was made with figs, apricots, and cherries that was outstanding. I can't wait to go back to try it again. Also, the chocolate lava cake dessert was excellent. I went on the early side for dinner so it wasn't crowded when I arrived, but was packed when I left. Glad that I had made a reservation.
Peacock Cafe is a neighborhood jewel. The proprietor and staff are very friendly, food delicious and service excellent. There is outdoor seating which is very nice.
Absolutely great food and atmosphere!!!
This place has been around for years and although I haven't been in a while, I was reminded why I like this place. The food was great. The owner was very apologetic when they were 10 minutes late seating us for brunch. The place was hustling and bustling with people. It was no big deal. We went for brunch and I got the spinach and mushroom truffle with chicken sausage and a side salad. So tasty!!! Looking forward to returning again in the near future.
It's a tight restaurant but the staff are very friendly and will try to get you seated quickly. I recommend making a reservation. The bellini was just okay, but the food was great! We went for brunch.
Chic little spot, off the main drag. Easy to get to. Cool Vibe. Enjoyed their selection of a little bit of everything.
We had a family get together and it was well worth the visit. Great food and awesome service!
