Peacock is very good, not a large restaurant but great food.
It was decent! I was slightly underwhelmed because the Benedict’s were both on regular bread instead of an English muffin. We also assumed they would come with home fries/roasted potatoes, but they came with super thin fries. If I knew that I would’ve ordered home fries or fruit as a side, but I probably misread the menu/should’ve asked. I don’t know that I’ll be back soon, as there are superior brunch options in DC, but it was good enough. Maybe we’ll fair better with an omelette next time. The strawberry lemonade was very fresh and delicious!
Everything was excellent. Great location for a business lunch. Adjacent parking garage was a bonus!
Parking was helpful. Service fine but the noise and tables so close together made conversation difficult.
Decided to stop by for a quick bite on my break. Turns out this place serves brunch everyday of the week so I was sold. Decided to try something different and had the Doctor's Ultimate Eggs with a Rose' Spritzer. I like the way they presented everything. My server Christian R offered me a fruit salad with my meal as if it came with my meal, however it did not. Next time try adding "for an additional $6 would you like to add a fruit salad with your meal" to your pitch. Other than that, everything went well.
Very lovely restaurant. Nice ambiance and great food. Will definitely come here again.
Service was poor, waiter couldn't recommend any dishes, as argumentative, didn't seem to know menu. Asked 3x for coffee, which came when we were ready to leave.
Everything.about our experience was wonderful! We will definitely be back.
Great location but the food isn't as good as it should be.
Peacock Cafe has an impressive lunch menu, which includes several brunch options all week. I opted for a lunch of seafood jambalaya, which was very tasty. My friend enjoyed her veggie burger. The server gave helpful comments on the menu options. I would recommend this place for lunch during the week.
Brunch with my collegian and it was perfect!
Delicious food with pretty good service. They dressed the restaurant up beautifully for Valentine’s Day. Thought a little pricey for the amount of food, the rigatoni is the best pasta I’ve ever had. Their policies for cancellation and scheduling are sneaky and stressful however, which was a bit concerning for me. I don’t like their cancellation fee, it feels very unfair to charge people so much per person.
Amazing Valentine’s Day lunch. Service and food were outstanding. We come here a couple times a month but today was extra special for us, and they really treated us well.
We were sat at an awful table in the front near the drafty entrance. I asked the hostess and the manager to be moved multiple times and they were not able to accommodate. Very disappointed in the ambience. Service was fine, but we had multiple waiters which was odd. Food was fantastic nonetheless.
Great place for brunch. Attentive staff, delicious food and great music!
The food was excellent but we were given the lunch menu rather than the dinner menu. The restaurant was kind enough to comp our desserts for their error.
Great meal! Lovely time spent there. A little loud but I don't think that's anything the restaurant could control, I think it's just the structure. We went for brunch which is also not the quietest time.
The french toast is amazing! Overall, our experience was great and the service was fantastic. Highly recommend!
Service was excellent. The food fresh and tasted fantastic. I would not hesitate to come back. Highly recommend the burgers and the brunch plates.
The pecan tart is wickedly delicious ! A new favourite on my list
I came for brunch on a Saturday. I was pleased with the mix of items the menu had to offer. It was a perfect combination of breakfast and lunch items. There was something for everyone. My only major issue was with the entrance. The dining room was absolutely packed, and the entrance does not allow for more than 3 people to wait comfortably for their table.
Excellent food and service. I can’t wait to go back!
I tweeted & posted on FB....w/photos
Quiet, pleasant Sunday brunch with my kids. Good food and excellent service.
Again and again Peacock Café does an excellent job making every guest feel special and welcome. PEACOCK EGGS CHESAPEAKE are always my favourite. Chef Maziar Farivar was himself at the front of the house greeting, connecting with, and checking on the guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Wonderful.. always a great time
Food and atmosphere was superb. We had a group of 9 and before everyone was there we asked about limits for dividing the bills on different credit cards. They said there was no limit and they would be happy to accommodate any arrangement. At the end of the meal the server handed each person an individual bill. I was amazed. Would definitely go back!
adorable neighborhood gem; great for brunch! would definitely go again
Lovely gem on a quiet side street in Georgetown! Indoor parking lot next door. Outdoor Lot across the street. Perfect menu, including breakfast at lunchtime! Food was delicious and beautifully served. This is now one of my favorites and I’ll be back with all of my friends.
New Year’s brunch was fantastic. The service was friendly, the food was scrumptious, the noise level low enough for everyone to hear the conversation at the table without straining. We will go again!
Fantastic food, chic ambiance,, and an extremely attentive staff make for an amazing dining experience. One of the best brunch locations in Georgetown DC. Great work by the owners/ chef Shahab and Maziar. Thumbs up!
Food and service were amazing! Only downside was the bathrooms were kind of gross.
My daughter and I went to Peacock Cafe for lunch for her birthday, which I noted on the reservation, and they did not acknowledge that which was a disappointment. The service was decent though not as attentive as it could have been given how quiet it was there at 1pm on a Friday. The tomato soup we both had was good but the arugula salad was such a small amount for a big price I was surprised. My daughter's omelet was fine but not great. We decided to opt out of coffee and desserts to beat the clock on the next hour of parking (at $6/hr)
We had a fantastic experience!!! The service and food is always excellent!!!
Just like, how I remembered the first experience back in the early 90s...
Our party of six arrived right when they opened and we were warmly greeted. The service was great, everyone loved their meal, and the place quickly started to fill up and take on an energetic vibe. We would definitely go back.
Very good service; lovely atmosphere. I was disappointed with my entree (Harvest Fetuccine); it was bland. My husband enjoyed his meal (rigatoni with chicken). I would try the Peacock Cafe again and order something different.
Excellent service and crew !!!
Always a great experience! Thank you so much!
Excellent food and service. Recommend for intimate or large party dining.
A reliably wonderful meal with excellent service and a welcoming ambiance!
