Great lunchtime menu with a half sandwich and soup. The food was as expected-very good and will be back
Lovely spot for lunch or dinner.
We had great Sunday lunch with homemade smoothies and sandwiches.
Lovely and enjoyable
Quality of food was terrible. We were a party of 10 and no one left there satisfied with the meal. A shame because restaurant has a nice ambiance. Dined there a few years back and the food was good. Will not return
We ate a delicious meal on the sidewalk at Peacock Cafe this past Saturday. I went with the fixed menu and was beside myself with the seafood gumbo. I would highly recommend Peacock for a romantic evening as the service was amazing, the food was delicious and the deserts were perfect. Thanks for such a great meal.
Food was so tasty and the staff was very friendly! Would absolutely go back!
Return visit confirms that the choice and quality of food is very good and the service excellent
Nice menu....many choices. Food was quite good. Had lunch....it was fairly empty
My wife and I dined there with another couple 2 nights ago. Memo, our waiter, and the rest of the wait staff, was very attentive and personable. Not our first time; certainly not our last. Great service, great value!!
Our waiter, En Hussein’s was superb!
Excellent service. Excellent food . Will be returning soon
I love this place! Great food, excellent service and a wonderful casual atmosphere.
It was a bit hectic
Outside was quiet. Food & service was great for brunch.
Everything was fantastic! The food, the service, and the overall atmosphere was first class.
I can’t wait to go back.
Loved it food was delicious , service perfect and setting so inviting.
The food was outstanding. Seriously delicious.
Steak salad is worth going back for.
Service was very attentive without being overbearing or overpresent. We asked to sit at an outside table: when it began to rain they moved us like a pit crew!
Ramon, the manager(?) was genuinely concerned that everything was to our liking.
Refreshingly warm and personal.
Loved it. Going back soon!
Yes, it was a nice place to go for a group lunch. Service was friendly and the setting was casually elegant.
There was a diverse menu with lots of choice. The quality was good... not outstanding... but decent.
Friendly staff. Very fresh food and excellent mojito
Highly recommend the Peacock Cafe. I loved everything about!
Bel bar e ristorante a Georgetown.
Menù non troppo vario, ma con belle scelte specialmente di pesce.
Prezzo nella norma dei ristoranti di Washington. Belle porzioni sia degli starters che dei piatti principali.
Pancakes were really good. Loved the Peacock fries. Several waiters were second us and our order was messed up. Steak that goes w steak and fries was VERY small. It wasn’t anything to rave about but affordable and pretty good food
We had a beautiful Saturday brunch! Plenty of excellent food and drink choices. Service was exceptional! We were greeted warmly and taken immediately to our table. A very pleasurable dining experience. Highly recommend!
I recommend the Peacock Cafe for lovely atmosphere, great service, and excellent quality food. This was my first dinner at this restaurant, but it will not be my last. Compared to other Georgetown restaurants, it was a good value, too.
Truly enjoyed our birthday celebration dinner. Service was top notch and food was absolutely amazing.
All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The service was attentive and the food was served quickly in a crowded restaurant. Most importantly, the food was delicious!
One of my favorite places ever. I ampeays feel like a rockstar when I walk in.
We loved Dana who was fast, efficient, knew the menu and was able to make the stellar suggestion to add a kids menu grilled cheese to our tomato bisque. Perfection!!
The food and service were both wonderful. We will be sure to return at the first opportunity. Thank you, Peacock Cafe.
Peacock Café gives you the eating at home feeling with all the conveniences of dining out.
Always love brunch at the PC ... Great food and very friendly staff
Great place for everyday, date, family and especial occasion ! Never fails
Excellent! Everything from service to food was outstanding. Wanted to return the following day. Will definitely be back!
Peacock Cafe is one of my favorite spots in Georgetown. It's a great spot for groups so we often dine there to celebrate birthdays with groups of 5 to 10 friends. The service is always outstanding and the menu never fails. There were just three of us for dinner on this outing and our waiter was extremely attentive yet let us take our time ordering and dine at our own pace. He was an extra good sport about it. I had the Seared Tuna salad and it was delicious. Another favorite of mine is the Scottish Salmon. We shared the Bruschetta to start - another favorite. We go often so maybe we'll see you there?
It was very hot at dinner time, otherwise 5 stars. It’s a heat wave so understandable but we’d have loved to have been moved to a cooler spot vs sitting there fanning ourselves by the door during our dinner.
Made a reservation, and despite showing up on time, still had to wait 15 minutes for a table. The restaurant was very hot. Both in my party were sweating, and other patrons were visibly sweating.
Great and delicious! Great for foodies!
Always excellent food and excellent service. Never disappoints. They are opening what sounds like a great spot call Vintage 78 in the DuPont Circle area...we can’t wait to check it out...opens in a few weeks.
The pancakes were outstanding. They came with warm maple syrup loaded with sliced bananas and walnuts. When I’m in Georgetown, I always visit the Peacock for lunch. The service is good and the food is well prepared and presented. They have a large menu with something for everyone.
Always an excellent brunch when visiting Georgetown!
I took my mom to this restaurant when she visited from out of town. She wanted to eat a dish with crab, so we split the crab pesto risotto and crab cakes. Both were to die for and the atmosphere was perfect for good conversation.
