Peach Blossom at Turning Stone Ratings and Reviews
MY 60th Birthday everything was wonderful like always had the Surf and Turf was done perfectly staff greeters all are wonderful caring friendly people right on top of everything was alone because my husband could not make the trip because of our 88 year old mom lives with us they kept coming back to talking to me because they new I was alone was greay
As the service itself was fantastic, it seemed it outshined the food. I was expecting a great food experience, I ordered spring rolls, steamed dumplings, orange chicken and Mongolian beef.
The spring rolls were delicious.
The dumplings wrapping was far too thick, the filling seemed almost like a hotdog consistency with nothing else.
The chicken was okay, over cooked and dry but not worth complaining about.
The beef was thick chunks of beef where as the dish is supposed to be shaved beef, but this was more like beef stew minus sauce. The beef was lacking taste and the sauce, bland.
It was not an enjoyable valentines dinner as far as the menu goes, but the great service made the dinner acceptable.
Our dining experience was wonderful as always when we are at the Peach Blossom. Unfortunately we were disappointed in the coat check service on the last w visits. We were there for the home show and again for dinner, but the coat check rooms were closed. We would have enjoyed our time at TS much more if we were not carrying winter coats through out the casino and restaurants.
I love seafood. I love pork fried rice. I love Asian Food, with a kick. I can get all of those things combined with a great environment at Peach Blossom. I’m just sorry it took me so long to give them a try. For years I thought it would be more sushi then “Chinese Food” and I thought it would be “too expensive”. Then one day, while ordering “Happy Family” at the local take out place I thought “this isn’t cheap, I wonder if they have this / how much at Peach Blossom” so we gave it a try. When we arrived for the first time, I honestly felt under dressed, however looking around at the rest of the guests, some dressed very nicely, others … more casual… We were fine. This is not to say you should dress casual as the environment is upscale, however if you are at the resort playing or going to a show, and want to have an excellent sit down Asian food experience, try Peach. And.. More importantly… want a date night out with that someone special…. Try Peach. We often go before a show, just make sure to leave time to run the leftovers to the car … because leftover Peach is almost as good as the first dish!
All 3 of us ordered the chicken and shrimp special. It was served extremely fast! Too fast! The chichen must have been pre-cooked because it was so dry! The shrimp was hot but nearly raw. The Event Center was hosting Dancing With The Stars and the restaurant was busy! So my advise is not to order the special on a very busy night!
Good overall meal. Food was well prepared - and arrived hot even on a busy night. Wait staff were pleasant and engaging. Only negative is food arrived too quickly. We had apps and no sooner were the plates empty than the whisked away and dinner arrived. Too fast paced to enjoy.
Whenever my husband and I go to Turning Stone (about once a month), we always eat at Peach Blossom. It has the best Chinese food in the State and a wonderful selection of excellent food. We travel a lot and we want you to know that the waitress whose name is Tess is one of the best waitresses in the business. She deserves a HUGE raise!!
A friend recommended this restaurant recently, so we decided to take the family. Reservations were simple through open table. We arrived early and we're seated immediately. The decor was decent, and the service prompt and friendly. The menu selections were tempting. However, the food itself was not up to expectations. We had the dumplings, lettuce wraps, and a variety of entrees. 4 of 5 in our party didn't find the food appealing, one diner loved the "vegetarian chicken". The price for the entire meal was surprisingly high for the quality of food
I'm usually flexible, and willing to try a restaurant a few times if it comes recommended. But in this case I doubt I would go back
Service (Theresa) was excellent . Very attentive and accommodating. All staff was friendly. I have been to Peach Blossom one other time and was not thrilled. It was years ago. I thought I’d give another try.
Salmon was over cooked . I sent it back. Said they always prepare well done. Must ask for it to be prepared differently. That is unusual for a fine dining experience...you never over cook fish..additionally too much sauce. Selected Mongolian beef in its stead. Meat had funky texture.. too much sauce .
Dessert was the best part of the meal.
Food was okay.. I guess I expected better.
We have dined at Peach Blossom many many times and each time the food is outstanding and the staff goes above and beyond to make your dining experience very enjoyable. Everytime we visit TS we always make it a point to dine here. Haven't tried anything on the menu yet that we haven't liked and we have definitely tried a wide variety. We will be coming back to Peach Blossom many more times in the future.
My wife and I had been to Peach Blossom a couple of years ago and were very pleased with our experience then. When the time finally came for us to celebrate our retirements, we decided to revisit Peach Blossom. Although their menu has changed quite a bit over the past few years, the quality, ambiance, attentiveness, and attention to detail of the restaurant remain excellent and we had a wonderful dinner. Peach Blossom features a "traditional" menu on the back page of their regular menu, and their traditional items really can't be found elsewhere in our local area. We ordered the jellyfish for our appetizer (enough for two), special ordered a medium size bowl of the Clam and Tofu Soup. Our server suggested the large bowl on the menu would be much too large for two, and she was absolutely correct. We also ordered two traditional entrees (Duck Tongue in Brown Sauce and Conch and Squid with Yellow Chives) and one vegetable (Baby Eggplant Szechwan Style) for our entree course, which we requested be served family style. All items were delicious, and were served with a side plate of multiple hot sauces which we could use to adjust the heat to our tastes. My wife and I both preferred to use the "hot oil" sauce after trying all three. Personally, I thought the clam and tofu soup was rather bland, but it really came alive with the addition of some hot oil sauce, which floated attractively on the surface. Our dinner also included complimentary hot tea and sides of sticky rice and/or fried rice (we requested both). Although we both have hearty appetites, we took advantage of take-out cartons for some of our leftovers. With the addition of some cooked shrimp, we had enough take-out for a marvelous dinner the following evening. Well done, Peach Blossom!
My husband/family and friends have been going to the Peach Blossom for over 20 years. We find it to be our favorite Chinese restaurant anywhere we have ever been. We have come to know Terri the waitress and she is extraordinary and friendly. We love the food, the service and it is part of Turning Stone Casino which we love too!!! My husband's favorite is the beef and scallops, mine is any shrimp dish. WONDERFUL, 5 stars!!
