We had a great birthday dinner for my wife. We were early for our reservation and they were unable to seat us early, they made up for it, without needing to. The manager was very kind and apologetic, it was not necessary. The food was delicious. We had great Ambiance, and a fun birthday dessert. We will be back.

Wonderful restaurant for pre-Theater or Opera, but sometimes VERY noisy on Minnesota Wild nights. Would prefer a quieter atmosphere for intelligent conversation with friends.

Suggest increased sound treatment of the restaurant.

Impressive chef rendition of a pasta with fresh tomato, basil, mozzarella chunks, and light garlic sauce -- excellent. Similarly the salad (tomato, mozzarella and basil) was also a winner.

I had asked for a quiet corner but I don’t think that’s possible in that restaurant. But the service was great and we felt well taken care of. My husband is vegetarian so Italian menus work well for him. My risotto came in a Parmesan shell which made it extra special. We shared the Bananas Foster cheesecake which was delicious.

We enjoyed the cocktails, appetizers, and dessert...all were fantastic. Unfortunately the main courses we ordered were sub-par. The spaghetti with giant meatball had hardly any sauce and was very bland and the meatball was dry. I also thought the carbonara and the gnocchi with bolognese lacked flavor. For the price we paid, I expected these to be outstanding dishes, not average. I would come back for happy hour (great deals on drinks) but do not plan to return for dinner.

My daughter asked to dine at a "fancy" restaurant for her 7th birthday and I chose Pazzaluna not only for the diverse menu options but also for their lively atmosphere. In our reservation I stated we would have children in our party and suggested we sit in the Venus Lounge or at one of the tables by the open kitchen so our kids could see the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. We were seated in a booth across from the open kitchen Cucina Counter and our kids (ages 7 & 10) loved watching the chef's team working in the kitchen. It was an extremely busy evening (Wild game & Ordway events that night)and our service was excellent! The kids thought it took too long for the food to come out - but it was NOT an overly long wait in my opinion. The seasonal special the scallops and squash risotto was out of this world - amazing! Our kids shared a Rustica pizza; "this is the best pizza ever!! Can we come back again?!?" The Penne Arrabbiata dish with chicken was excellent as were the spiced olives we ordered for a starter. We capped off our experience with dessert. The vanilla and chocolate Gelato were both exceptional and the lemon cheesecake was light and fresh and the perfect ending to our meal. Our daughter LOVED her birthday experience at Pazzaluna and thought it was perfectly fancy and gave them two thumbs up!

It was great to back at Pazzaluna.
We had a chance to meet a new Manager- Paul, very nice gentleman. Thank you for calling and giving me a choice of the table location, it was very nice of you.
Sabine was our waitress - she was super nice and polite. Thank you for the nice quick wine tasting of your preferred wines, the plate of antipasti case was fantastic also.
Saturday was a very busy night but Sabine was doing very good job. We just had to ask her to slow down with bringing our plates. We like to relax and enjoy nice time together with our friends, eating and talking.

Food : presentation was exciting, vibrant and fresh.
We had for our appetizer - Roasted Cauliflower Soup Zuppa di Cavolfiore Arrosto with cream.
The soup was tasty and good but unfortunately cold -we ask to heat it up- Sabine took care of it right the way.
Main dish: Seared Scallops Capesante Scottate over butternut squash risotto with speck & orange butter- this dish was phenomenal with some spicy kick I loved it.
Arona, Sauvignon Blanc, 2015, Marlborough was very nice compliment to our dishes.
As always it was good to see chef Seth Teiken.
After our SPCO concert we stopped by for a happy hour- espresso martini and rustica pizza is always perfect to share with friends.Shea was our waitress, great job, thank you.
Overall the entire evening was very relaxing and memorable.
Pazzaluna thank you for your hard work.

Been here many times. This time the 3 meat Cannelloni was not up to par. The dinner arrived cool to barely warm. This comes with a combo of red sauce and white sauce. The presentation was fine, but the red sauce was very thin and watery. It was hard to get it to stay on the pasta so you could scoop it up and eat it with the sauce on it. The white sauce was OK, consistency good, but again, too cool to enjoy. The pasta seemed as if it may have been sitting around for awhile, it was a little dry around the edges, not fresh, tender or moist. We'll try again, but they really need to focus a little more on quality and temperature of meals they are serving. You should see steam rising from the plate at the very least.

Had a birthday dinner for wife & I. Food was excellent. The place was full and service was a little slow due to the crowd. Which was odd for a Sunday evening at 5:45PM. But the waitress and staff did their best to keep up. The Waitress did a good job for the amount of tables she had.
Thank you for a nice meal.

Took forever to get meal. Had to send Halibut back. Way overcooked.
Chicken Parm was good but spagetti overcooked and there was no sauce. Lady who waited on us was wonderful and I think more disappointed than us. I do not think we will be back.

Always a nice experience here. The banana gelato was very creamy and delicious! The saffron risotto is my favorite gluten free option, though I was disappointed that they had run out of gluten free crackers so I had to sit and watch my dining partner enjoy the bread and olive pate pre-dinner course without me.

As always the food is outstanding. I especially love the salmon! Steaks are always cooked to perfection. Rachael, our server, was attentive to all of our needs. Wine glasses were kept filled and she had great dining suggestions. I highly recommend Pazzaluna if you want a fabulous dining experience.

Wonderful, flavorful Italian food. The Zucchini fries were delicious. Fast turn around, which was nice considering how packed the dining room was. Excellent service, staff was always ready to replenish water glasses and clear plates promptly.

The food was amazing! First thing we said was we have to come back because there are too many good things to choose from. I'm also lactose intolerant, but found it easy to order off your menu, which isn't always easy at Italian inspired restaurants. Thank you!!

We decided to try this out for Mpls/St Paul Restaurant week. Thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. My husband and I chose something different from each of the appetizer, entree and dessert menus. We loved every bite!! We will definitely be back for our next celebration dinner! Loved the many food and beverage choices. Our waitress was new and was so sweet and very helpful. Soft spoken and made sure everything was as we wanted it! Great spot if you are staying at the St Paul Hotel and going to a concert at Xcel Energy center too!!

My entire family loved their meals - that says a lot considering my mom is 79 and my daughter is a 13 year old - Our waiter was nice and I'm sure he is very good but they were very busy and, well, he was very busy and on more then one occasion I found myself waiting for him to return (needing water, bread, new cocktail etc.). I got the feeling we were not seated in his 'area'. I had the four course meal which was excellent taste-wise, cocktails were made to perfection. The bread was warm and good. A bit annoyed that I had to ask for more bread as who doesn't want extra bread to sop up the sauce on their plates but again this may have had something to do with the busy wait staff.

Negatives - honestly I felt the portions were on the small side - my mother ordered the veal and it came with only 2 pieces of meat . A bit skimpy for the price. I was the birthday boy (big 50!) so I ordered the 4 course meal - I didn't expect full portions but what I did get was quite skimpy (2 ravioli?) , the soup I got came in a bowl but wasn't enough to fill a cup.
I had made reservations and was immediately less then thrilled when they sat us at a table on the main aisle. Lots of traffic constantly walking by us. Probably not an issue for younger people but I had said we were coming for a Special Occasion and had brought my elderly mother.

AGAIN I want to emphasize that the food was delicious and we will go back. If we had been seated in a quieter area of the restaurant and the portions had been enough to fit the price it would become a regular stop.
