I went there with a friend for Sunday brunch. They gave us complimentary mimosas and we're super nice! I'd definitely go back.
Great food and service! The key lime pie is amazing. Great place for celebration dinner.
When I mentioned that I'd made the reservation, my girlfriend said, "Great, we ought to go to Paul's more often." As usual, she's right. We've been to Paul's a dozen times or more, which is a statement in itself. The food is terrific and the menu varies sufficiently that there always are several options we've not yet tried. The service is outstanding. The wine menu is solid and usually has a couple of surprises. (Your waiter/waitress can recite specifics about pretty near everything on the wine list.) The bar is small -- six or eight stools? -- and every time we have dinner there it reminds me that someday I want to come back to have drinks. It's a cozy place, slight off the beaten track in Annapolis. Every time we pull into the parking lot, however, it's filled to overflowing. That tells you something: people keep coming back. And I plan to follow my girlfriend's advice to get there more frequently.
Very fresh and tasty food! I had the Caesar salad and Chipotle Salmon for dinner - both were excellent! Prices are reasonable for what you get - especially in Annapolis- and they do offer parking. Truly enjoyed my time with my friend; service was also very good. ✅✅✅😀
We visited Paul's for Sunday brunch to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant wasn't busy which gave our visit a leisurely feel. The seafood omelette was delicious but the filet minion eggs benedict was disappointing. The eggs were over cooked and the steak was very small and their was not enough sauce on the eggs. We were there to celebrate a birthday which was noted on the open table reservation but the restaurant did not do anything special to add to our celebration which is what I expected. So a little disappointing. We will eat here again but not for brunch.
We love Paul's for its superb cuisine, selective wine list, good art, and overall ambiance. It's our restaurant of choice when out-of-town guests visit. The noise level can vary however, depending on time of day and location of table. This past Saturday, we were seated in the front room, next to the front window and across from a table of 4 with very loud patrons. The noise level unfortunately marred what would have otherwise been a perfect meal. After half the tables left, the noise became manageable, so we lingered over delicious desserts and coffee. Advice to others: if you desire less noise, perhaps ask to be seated on the second level, or in the two-story portion where the sound has more room to travel.
Will come again and again. Excellent wait staff. Very friendly atmosphere. Private parking. Drinks were amazing, food was exceptional.
I loved everything: the food, the service, the atmosphere. Our server was helpful and personable but not hovering. He stuck a candle in my dessert for my birthday and made sure someone sang. My friends and I ordered the meze platters, and we were surprised by the amount of food. Our dinners and dessert were delicious.
Paul's Homewood Cafe was a great find. I made reservation for 1:45 pm on Sunday. The restaurant stops taking customers at 2 pm but if you are seated, they don't rush you for closing. The service was great; attentive and friendly. Food was deliciousl; fresh seafood, poached eggs cooked just before serving, and well flavored home fries.
Having parking behind the restaurant was also a plus.
I would definitely go back.
One of many visits to this favorite eatery. First time to be upstairs. Food and service is always impeccable. Only "concern" is that a large TV dominates the eating area. So unnecessary. I asked to have it turned off and, fortunately, the other occupied table did not object. I know that TVs in a bar area are a necessary evil but can't people eat and enjoy each other's company without everpresent technology?
We are huge fans of Paul's, the Sunday breakfast offerings are fresh and delicious. Dan our server is always fun, professional and positive. The biscuits rock and I can't get enough of your Greek Eggs and Lamb, outstanding dish.
Crab cakes, salmon entrée, and Greek mezze were all fantastic. My four friends all raved about their selections and thanked me for suggesting we meet at Paul's before our evening event!
Just delicious! Great service too.we will go back many times!
Always a great meal.
Always the best food and service at this special neighborhood restaurant. The owners and staff know you when you walk in. We have never been disappointed with any dish on the menu.
We enjoyed out pretheatre dinner. Good menu choices and wine list was very good. Chicken Souvlaki was excellent along with Greek salad. The baclava was very good.
Wait staff was polite, cheerful and attentive even though it was a very busy evening and a full crowd.
Overall, a nice experience in a good quality Greek restaurant.
Always excellent!! Our go to place! Everyone we’be taken here has raved!
Paul's most always pleases. Everything we had for dinner this evening was very good, flavorful and nicely presented. We come here often and enjoy the food and friendly staff.
Staff was VERY rude. Food was awesome, and the wine list was reasonable, but the staff made me and my husband uncomfortable.
First visit there and I have lived here for years - just forget about going there, will definitely be back. Always heard good things about this place and now I know why!
We both had wonderful meals. The service was great, not pushing us to get us out the door for another seating. We ate at our own pace without feeling like the waiter was hovering. We went because it was Annapolis Restaurant week but will be back.
We brought friends to this wonderful restaurant during Annapolis Restaurant Week. We had the 3 course special and each of the 5 of us were very pleased with the delicious entrées. The Baclava for desert was exceptional. This is a small restaurant but a delight.
Paul’s Homewood Cafe never disappoints us for a great meal. We began going there for special occasions. But then it was so good that we now go all the time.
A hidden neighborhood gem, great for brunch. Plenty of parking out back so don’t let Paul’s off eating out plans.
Always good at Pauls. Sunday brunch was fantastic!
Paul’s was perfect for a relaxing brunch with a midshipman sponsor son and his girlfriend.
Best food in Annapolis in my opinion. Glad we stumbled in a few years ago. Staff is very attentive.
Paul's has a very pleasant atmosphere, nicely prepared food and excellent service. The menu which tilts towards Greek cuisine is not particularly adventuresome. That said the fish was cooked perfectly as was the Steak Dianne.
The special Valentine Day menu at Paul's was incredible. An outstanding dinner selection with the usual superior service.
Enjoyable meal, food seasoned lightly, Greek appetizer somewhat oily.
My husband and I have been craving traditional Greek food - thought about some other places, but it had been so long since we went to Paul's, it won out. Worth the decision, even if it was pouring rain. Our server, Rick, was attentive - just the right amount to not be hovering. He knew we ordered too much food, but let us have fun, since we wanted to taste everything! In addition to having great "dips" - like hummus, salmon, tszaziki, were excellent. Hubby had the lamb chops, which were done perfectly - not too rare on the bone. I had 4 different mezze, and could have stuffed most all of it in, but I went for the leftovers.
Highly recommend Paul's.
Very nice, it is a good change from the everyday steak and seafood in the Annapolis area, nice if want that Greek change of pace
Tasty food; good value. Extensive menu and well stocked bar and wine list. The dessert choices were good.
Perfect date night! From our friendly welcome to our departure we were made to feel at home. We loved the seafood sampler and the lamb tonight- and found room to split a dessert.
Paul's is great. Definitely an older crowd when we went there. Great value for your money. Certain greek specialties are really good. Our server, Dan, was awesome.
The food was authentic and delicious! I also really enjoyed the warm and inviting ambiance.
Great ,friendly service from Frank.... we come almost monthly so he knows our needs etc....
Paul's Homewood Cafe offers great food and a lot of charm. We loved the brunch offerings such as Greek Eggs and lamb and chicken and waffles. Every person in our party of 6 was delighted with his/her meal. The baclava wasto die for!
Paul’s is an institution in Annapolis. A menu of Mediterranean/Greek fare along with other daily specials and menu items. My wife had a Mediterranean salmon dish and I had a Duck schnitzel. Both were superb.
