This is one of our favorite places. Great food and service. Cozy setting. No too loud.
There is a reason Patzeria is rated so highly. The food is delicious, substantial and reasonably priced. The place is always busy so you will need to make a reservation in advance. The wine list is small but priced very well and tasty. This has become one of our favourite NYC Midtown Theatre District dining spots.
Great food and service. Was seated right away and never felt rushed. Great place in the theatre district
Pizza was food. Service was excellent. Great place to eat before theatre
Friendly people and nice food. We visit the restaurant two times last werk.
Lovely pizza (medium Neapolitan was big enough for 2) and pasta, nice cocktails. Service was fast and efficient. Would recommend booking ahead as it was busy (Saturday evening). Dined with my teenage boys and they enjoyed it too.
Fantastic pre-theater dinner that’s not super fancy/expensive (like some of the other spots nearby).
Tables up the center of the dining room are placed *super* close together, so you’re kind of almost eating with another couple, but just the same, we had a lovely time, greatly enjoyed our dinner (the calamari was EXCELLENT), and will be back again!
We very much enjoyed our meals (lasagna and ravioli), a perfect bottle of Chianti, and delicious desserts (strawberry cheesecake and cannoli). Service was prompt, efficient, and attentive. Nicely located between the 50th Street/Eighth Avenue subway and the theater we were attending. We would go there again.
Hidden gem on the edge of the theater district. Food is very good and I suggest trying the specials as they were fantastic. Great place to take your family. Nice and relaxing atmosphere.
Nice Italian restaurant. Food was good , but avoid white house wine, which was awful.
Very good. Great food, great service
We’ve been coming here for about five years and the food is always great. Instead of pizza this time we tried the chicken marsala. It was fantastic. I highly recommend this place.
Been there twice now. Love it.
Very small place; felt very crowded. But GREAT food for good prices. Get the mussels
I have been there twice both times had great food for a great price. 5 stars for food, service and location. Tables are tight, especially for two people so might not be a great first date or really romantic dinner place but for anything else is would be wonderful.
We absolutely love this restaurant. Everything from the garlic knots, pizza, chicken franchise, and more... authentic Italian food. We have been several times and it never disappoints. I highly recommend this restaurant it’s a hidden gem.
A great value with good food just a couple blocks from Times Square.
Really understated place but great. Lovely staff. Nice food and chilled. We had theatre tickets and we were late to our table and they pulled out all the stops to accommodate us.
Thanks you Patzeria!
My niece and I got the mussels, b/c she was visiting and loves mussels. However, they were fairly standard, and at least a half dozen in each serving weren't opened. We probably would've been better off ordering more traditional Italian fare. The pizzas looked and smelled great! Even though our choice wasn't our favorite, we'd definitely go back. Very convenient to theatre district and very welcoming.
Had dinner with my honey on Saturday evening before show and decided to sit at bar to watch football with our meal. The bartender (female, not sure of her name) was excellent, food was also very good and the overall experience was perfect for a pre-theater meal on a Saturday evening.
We eat there every time we visit NY! Love the food and the atmosphere!
Great Italian food. I had salmon, my husband veal. Everything Wes delicious. Service very friendly and accommodating even though it was crowded and noisy. It was pre-theater on a Friday so if you go then you definitely need a reservation and to expect loud voices and a little chaos. Not exactly relaxing or romantic. But otherwise recommended.
Lovely atmosphere and even better food! We stop by her every time we come to NYC.
Great spot. We went before the theatre. Wonderful New York pizza. Ordered a medium to share and it was as big as some large pizzas at other places. The place was packed, so definitely worth using Open Table to have a reservation.
Food was delicious and service was great! Small, cozy atmosphere.
Our favorite go-to restaurant in the theatre district. Food is consistently good, service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. The only negative was getting charged for a second basket of bread. None of us could remember having been charged like that the last couple of years, but we still enjoy it there and we will be back.
We’ve been going for dinner at Patzeria and friends every time we visit NYC, it is now a family tradition. They never disappoint and we would like to give a special mention to the rack of lamb on the Christmas menu, my husband still talk about how good it was. We’ll continue our tradition on our next visit.
Simplement parfait. Nourriture excellente. Personnel aux petits soins. Addition très douce...
Food was very mediocre- pizza dripping grease made it inedible and inconvenient. Prices for food steep comparatively 14 dollars for a pan pizza!
We ate here before heading to Anastasia on Broadway. The food was the some of the best Italian that I've ever eaten! The garlic knots and marinara sauce are a must! We had spaghetti, pizza and salad. All were excellent. I will be recommending this place to any friends that visit NYC. Our waiter was very kind and made sure we had everything done in time for our show. Someone at the table behind us spilled a drink and I noticed our waiter was especially kind and patient with them.
Food was excellent. We had pizza antipasta salad and veal Marsala. All were excellent. Servers were very nice. We didn't break the bank either so we will be back soon
Poor food and not great service.
Unfortunately the food was not good and even though I booked the table for my dad’s birthday and asked the restaurant to bring a surprise cake or brownie at the end, they didn’t bring anything.
Overall, very disappointing.
We chose this place because the online menu had everything Italian that anyone could ever want. When we got there, it was packed and the owner,Joe greeted us and said we were gonna have a great meal. And he was right! We started with a personal pizza which was the appetizer for all 5 of us. Then pasta fagioli soup...yummy! Small Caesar salads for three and they were huge. Main courses were eggplant park for me and it was the best I have ever eaten, lasagna made with beef...my husband doesn't eat pork. Shrimp Scampi, Mussels and penne with sausage and broccoli sabe. Chocolate gelato and caramel brownie cheesecake for dessert. And we all rolled away from the table happy and full.
I’m Italian the food was excellent and the service was excellent I’ve lived in New York all my life I’m sorry to say I have never been there before I will go there now many times
Came from Dallas and many of our friends said to eat here, great place!!
I am an x New Yorker and was in the city for business and my birthday. Plus I am Italian.
This was the best authentic Italian food. Plus they make you feel like family.
Pizza looked great, but I had baked clams and shrimp parm pasta dish. Both delicious. Plus cannoli and cappuccino celebrating my birthday with candles was appreciated. Owner was friendly and service was great.
I would recommend this restaurant to family and friends.
Great overall experience! We came for dinner before seeing a show, and were very glad we did. Delicious food, very reasonably priced for the area and great service. It was small and on the tight side, but it had a cozy feel. Highly recommended!
Very good, great service
This place is great, good food, great location, neighborhood gem, good service, reasonable prices. Loved it and will recommend to everyone.
Delicious food, great staff, wonderful ambiance!
