We waited almost an hour for our appetizer to arrive. When it did, my raw oysters were luke warm (like them cold). Main entrees were another 30 minutes; they were fine. I've been there a few times before and always thought the service and food were great. Could have been just an off night, but won't be going back again anytime soon.
This is by far, the BEST restaurant in Plymouth!
The Italian dishes are out of this world-hand made pasta, and very reasonable.
Many other options to choose from as well. We come here often- and have never been disappointed!
We went here on New Year's Eve and had a fantastic dinner in a nice quiet atmosphere. This was my first visit but will not be my last! There were many specials as well as a regular dinner menu. The handmade pasta was delicious and my husband enjoyed an artic char meal that came on a slate food slab...it was quite a presentation!
We always have a fabulous dinner at Patrizia's. The staff is friendly and professional and the menu is outstanding. We always have a great martini before dinner and the wine choice is great pairing with dinner choices.
Great food and service! Loved the fact it was not noisy and you can have a conversation at the table.
First timer at the restaurant. The food was excellent, and the service was prompt and courteous.
Very romantic setting. Service was good. We were not rushed, which I really appreciate. A little pricey for what you get. Caesar salad was 11.00 and it was small, like a side salad. I got shrimp scampi which only had 2 medium shrimp then had tiny mini shrimp in with the linguini. Linguini was homemade and excellent. We were there at 6:00 and one of the items on the main menu was not available. Somewhat limited menu. Drinks were great. Overall an enjoyable evening but overpriced for what you got.
The food was good, but a little overpriced. The service was outstanding! Our server, Kim, was extremely friendly and provided us with top notch service. Everyone was very friendly! Overall, it was a great experience, albeit expensive.
I love the elegant decor. Space between tables is nice
Patrizia's is consistently great. The food is always of the freshest quality and prepared expertly.
My husband and I had a really nice time at Patrizia's the other evening. The service was friendly, and efficient, although slow. (maybe my having a lobster dish had something to do with that !) The food was really wonderful. And creative. And delicious. Desserts are out of this world ! We definitely will be back soon !
A nice restaurant with good food and pleasant but slow service. Would recommend if you are looking for more upscale Plymouth waterfront dining.
My wife and I dinner here on a night away from the kids. It was good and we were happy with everything. Would recommend for good Italian, nothing too crazy.
Everything was excellent food, service and ambiance was equally great.
Was a very quiet night at Patrizzias (Wednesday), we enjoyed our meal, our waitress was great.
Have been there several times before and have always had a great experience overall.
Menu offers some traditional and some unusual offerings. Appetizers, entrees and desserts were excellent. Good wine choice.
overall a great dining experience and would highly recommend
Food was excellent. Staff was friendly and efficient. I was unsure how to get to the playhouse we were attending after dinner. When we asked the waitress she was unsure but got the hostess who gave us specific directions and a review of the theater. We were pleased with the restaurant and plan to go back.
Hoping for the best. Stopped going there a couple of years ago as the food and service took a turn for the worse from its earlier days. It's no better. No drink list, waitress told other table that she had to see if the soup was ready in the kitchen (it was 7PM). My wife's dinner was cold. My pasta was fine. The waiter was new, so not his problem, but they appear to have trouble retaining good help. Hostess was "out there". The newer addition is a lovely room for dining, but I likely will not be back for quite a while, if ever.
I really enjoyed my evening dining experience. You can eat inside or outside with a view of the water. Food was very good. A nice variety, and some nice specials. I took my time and was not rushed, which when dining alone restaurants sometimes do. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Patrizia's has expanded the size of its restaurant since our last visit to include a second, larger dining room and an outside deck and we are glad for the change. The additional room means diners no longer have to squeeze into this lovely spot. We were a party of four and our meals were delicious. I had veal that was perfectly prepared and generously portioned. Others at our table had seafood that was fresh and delicious. The wines we chose paired perfectly with what we orders. Excellent service. We will definitely go back.
Made a reservation for a date night at 7:45 and got seated within five minutes, however, it took close to 10 minutes for a waitress to come over after getting the managers attention. Drinks and appetizers were great, but our dinner took over an hour to come out. Some parts of the meal came out cold. Manger was able to accommodate us and cover a small portion of the bill, but an overall disappointing experience. Didn't end up leaving the restaurant until 10. Would come back for drinks and maybe appetizers, but the dinner itself was not worth the wait.
Our waitress was very accommodating and pleasant. The food was delicious., and we loved the wine, Montepulciano! We sat outside and it was comfortable, but not much ambiance. However we enjoyed the experience as it was our friend's 80th birthday
Lovel venue, menu and service. Uncomfortable chairs. Most others looked better. Overall, nice evening. Loved the cod with ? spaghetti- zucchini and a bit of potatoe--so good.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The croquettes were very tasty, the gnocchi was delicious, and the scallops and shrimp limoncello were out of this world Everything was cooked to perfection and plated beautifully. Even the kale was amazing... and that was before we got too deep into the bottle of wine! We would absolutely recommend.
The menu has changed so much that it feels like they are catering to the summer tourist crowd (ribs and chicken wings). Just not the same menu we'd come to really enjoy - not to mention the menu is now a clipboard. Our services was good and she was very personable and what we did order (their classic dishes) we good as well. Just doesn't have the same feel.
Food was good. I ordered the Bolognese which was very tasty. I ordered the full order. Portions were small. I ordered a glass of Chianti. It was Brought in a small glass decanter. It was about 4-5. Oz.........only filled about 20% of the wine glass. $10.00 a glass! Wine Is overpriced and served in very small measured quantities!
Waitress was very average. Did her basic job but nothing more.
They may have raised prices to take advantage of Summer Tourists trade. As locals, we did not appreciate.
The food was quite delicious, but the service was horrendous. Our waitress was in charge of the bar as well as tables.
It took 25 minutes to get our drinks, which were incorrect. Then she disappeared for another half hour before taking our food order.
The ambiance and noise level were nice at the start of our meal, but then a large party arrived and were yelling across the table to each other; very obnoxious. The staff did nothing to discourage this behavior, and the room carried noise so much.
At the end of the meal, we were given that large party's bill instead of ours.
This was my mother's birthday meal, so while the food itself was wonderful, we were so very disappointed by the experience.
our waitress was friendly efftcient and food was outstanding
The Martinis were superb my husband is very picky about his martini and he was pleased
Unfortunately, parking was terrible, it took us 15 minutes to find parking. The wine was terribly overpriced and there were several items on the menu that we were told up front were not available. Our reservation was at 6:45 so I don't understand why 3-4 items were not available. We finished dinner, was told the dessert menu, ordered then the waiter came back to tell us one of the desserts were not available. The server was great. However, I would not recommend this restaurant because of the issues we encountered.
Everything we had was delicious, our guests raved about how good everything was. Nicolle, our server, was the best!
Food was excellent. Portions were not large but that left room for dessert. Service was a little slow given the early hour and non-crowded conditions.
Pleasant greeting upon arrival. Choice of seating location. Server was pleasant and attentive without being too excessive. Meal choices were better than expected; the presentation was very artistic but very enjoyable. A very refined level of service; not your usual restaurant. Roasted beet salad was perfect. Shrimp & scallop with lemon liquor was splendid. A definite repeat.
Well done Patrizia's Italy Trattoria!
OK place to get some pasta near Plymouth Harbor. Parking in back so you don't have to pay.
We had dined there a while ago and decided to try it again. One entree was good, the other (scallop and shrimp lemoncello) was over cooked, greasy and no sign of lemon, the dessert tasted day old
I was disappointed in the fact that I had explicitly requested an outside table. When we arrived for our 7:30 reservations, the hostess said our table wasn't ready, so we sat at the bar for 20 minutes. When she brought us to our table it was inside not outside as I requested. I told her that and she said the outside was closed. (It had showered 3 hours earlier). She should have notified us of that fact when we first arrived, at which point we would have gone someplace else, as we had passed several restaraunts that had available outside seating at the time. But we felt we should stay because the other places were probably filled up
Normally the owner is around and greets the customers.
Patrizia's was always our special occasion go-to place. This past Saturday we dined there. It was 7:15 and three entrée choices were sold out. Pork tenderloin and the shrimp and scallop limoncello and I forget the third one. These were key menu items-it was only 7:15. The other major complaint was that the pasta portions are on the small side such as the sausage and broccoli rabe orchietta. My third complaint was that the menu was disorganized. Chef suggestions were entrees and were at the top of the men before the salads and then the "favorites" were at the end of the menu. It was very confusing.
here was 4 of us and only 2 alcohol drinkers and the bill was over $ 250. I was disappointed because it just didn't feel like a special place any more.
We waited 35 minutes for someone to come over for water and bread! The food was good, closed in patio was nice but I'd prefer indoor next time.
We have loved Patrizia's for several years and many visits. This time made us reconsider our opinion. Though early for our reservation, we were seated in the "outer" room, next to two large tables which quickly became pretty raucous. Our server, Danielle, tried to be accommodating, but serving the main course before I had finished my appetizer was inhospitable; realizing this, I think, she took the main course back to the kitchen where, I fear, it sat under a heat lamp and dried out before reappearance. Neither main course nor appetizer were particularly memorable or appealing on initial serving....less so with the above. The entire experience was lackadaisical and lacking, both in substance and ambiance.
