Lovely surprise to have table linens and fresh flowers on the table. Staff were attentive and courteous. Food was very tasty, we didn't do any puddings due to time but they looked amazing and we will be going back to try some. All-in-all a very pleasant meal.
Patrick's offers a delicious dining experience- whether breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. The fare is true to form and well prepared. The onion gratinee is superb! Seriously, do not miss Patrick's for dinner - the French specialties are excellent but so are the lamb and filet mignon and burgers. And how can you go wrong with an Opera Cake for dessert?
Patrick's is reknown for its patisserie, great breakfasts, and lunch but do not hesitate to book a table for dinner! There is excellent cooking going on at this neighborhood eatery: the short ribs, coc au vin, filet mignonette, gratinee, and salmon are not only delicious but very reasonably priced. Combine smart, savvy food and a generous pour of Cab Franc (or other wine selection) on Ladie's Night for $3... and well, dining out can become a more regular affair.
We have gone to Patrick's several times in the last three weeks. We have never been disappointed except when we ordered French Onion Soup, which was a surprise. Very little cheese on the top, onions over cooked and whole dish too salty. Duck, on the other hand, and steak were delicious and the walleye was good all three times we ordered it.
We normally go to Patrick's in Maple Grove, which has always been excellent. We went to this one because it is closer to our daughter and we were celebrating our son-in-law's birthday. I was extremely disappointed to discover the restaurant is seat yourself then go up to the counter to order your food. There we five of us, and my husband and I were buying, so we had to figure out what everyone wanted to drink and eat, and then take list in hand and go up and order and pay. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and did a good job, but the ambiance in Maple Grove is far better and more worthy of the price tag. We were looking for something a little nicer for this celebration.
Been here twice now in the last month. The food is very good and the bakery items are great! It's a nice little place. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I was here. Wasn't sure what to expect. The second time I recommended it for a friend's get together. I would definitely recommend this place. And, don't forget to get a little treat from the bakery before you leave.
Patrick's never disappoints--we went for Mother's Day dinner for their white tablecloth service. Despite the holiday crowd, the service and food are always great--really nicely done salmon and sea bass with friendly and professional service, without being fussy or pretentious.
Patrick's offers neighborhood, family dining with a French flair. The menu is deceptively robust and delicious. The short ribs are extraordinary as are the salads, Coc au Vin, and filet mignon, quiches and burgers. Patrick's is reknown for its Bakery offerings and the desserts are spectacular. Service is agreeable as is the ambiance. Wine pours are generous and specials are always a great deal.
I have dined at Patrick's many times and normally service is excellent but on this occasion waitress simply missed placing one of the four main entrée into kitchen. Although disappointing that one of the diners had to wait their meal, the staff of Patrick's offset the inconvenience on the bill.
I've eaten at Patrick's Bakery before, but not for a sit down dinner. The food was fantastic and I was in heaven with each bite. The meals are a bit expensive for a "bakery cafe" but they give you more food than you can eat so you get more than one meal out of it.
Have been going to Patrick's since they opened and then expanded.
The food is amazing and servers exceptional.
We had a bad experience w/manager last year; the owners responded in a way that demonstrated their sincere care and attention to customer experience.
This brought us back to their restaurant and we continue to enjoy dining there.
A reservation for dinner is recommended, even early, on weekends.
Patrick's is very consistent with their food and service - always good.
I'd like to see a bit more variety to the menu - I believe there was only one pasta dish (maybe two)
It's also cold in the winter, as it's a small, quaint restaurant - and every time the door opens a rush of cold air takes over the restaurant.
However, I love it - I am a frequent guest.
We had Christmas Eve dinner at Patrick's for their week-end white tablecloth service with visitors from San Francisco who like good food. Everyone in our party of five had an outstanding meal, ranging from fish to duck to meat, with wonderful appetizers and of course amazing dessert. It's our favorite neighborhood spot and out of town guests are always amazed. The service is top notch, the ambiance is great, the food is outstanding! And we took home a Christmas log (buche de noel) for Christmas day dinner.
Our family went for Christmas Eve dinner. Scallops on crab cakes, served with mixed greens, was a tasty starter. Our meals included sea bass in quinoa, NY strip steak, and walleye with wild rice. All dishes were beautifully served and delicious. There is a nice selection of wine, and a few kinds of beer. Our meal ended with complimentary truffles, but we still made way to the bakery counter. Very nice dining.
