Perfect! The merlot was full body and delightful. The short ribs and the Cornish hen was excellent. Definitely will be back. The ambiance was very nice. Highly suggest this experience! The waitress was outstanding.
The food was really good, but it was partially overshadowed by less than desirable service. The service was very slow and inattentive. My fiancé got the Steak Frites, which he said was delicious! I got the Californian Burger. Aside from realizing I basically just ate a full French baguette (no one’s fault but my own...), the burger was super nummy! We got Crab Cakes for an appetizer; YUM! The French fries were super good, too. The restaurant is small. Usually that’s cute and gives character, but it was annoying how often servers were nudging my chair to move so they could navigate through. I was practically sitting elbow-to-elbow with a complete stranger at another table. The bakery is impressive and DELICIOUS! The staff on that side was very responsive and professional. We’d probably go back, but we’re not rushing.
Always a great dinner at Patrick’s! One of our go to places.
The menu has something for everyone and at every price point. Patrick's turns out delicious food. Do not hesitate to order the salmon, filet mignon or short ribs. The burgers are also great as is the coq au vin . Pass on McCormick's and head to Patrick's.
It was my birthday so I got to choose where I wanted to eat. It was not high on my husbands list. He ordered the filet mignon and I tried the cornish game hen. He thought it was the best steak he had eaten in a long, long time. I enjoyed every morsel of my meal. Both meals were served with a large portion of perfectly cooked mixed vegetables (brussel sprouts, green beans, carrots, mushrooms) and they were delicious. Polenta was served with mine, a type of potato cake or patty was served with the filet. We also enjoy a small bite appetizer, fresh and tasty, fresh french bread and four cookies that arrived with our bill, complements of Patricks. I was also allowed a free dessert (my choice, creme brule) as a birthday gift. We were both extremely impressed with the whole meal. Both of us can't wait to return!
This was my second time eating at Patrick's; the first was for a friend's birthday. Both times the food was outstanding and the wait staff professional and friendly. The food was great; both the duck entree that I had, as well as my dessert from the pastry case. It was also a good place to sit and chat before seeing a movie at the mall. We'll definitely be back again, since we live in the neighborhood.
It was lovely. Great food, a little noisy .
Best value in SW metro! We love their food, and the price is easily 1/3 less than other comparable places in the area
Great meal. Thank you!
Everything was delicious and our waitress was wonderful.
Food was excellent. Love their coffee and bakery items + the baguettes and anything French.
Patrick's brings a positive reaction from friends when we recommend it. Often do Sunday Brunch and an occasional over the top dinner. No matter what part of the menu we order from, it just feels well crafted as well as tasty. While the wine list is limited, choices are nicely selected to compliment the entrees offered. While walking up to a strip mall store front can feel a bit of a downer, but once inside and a glance to the right to examine the pastries that eventually will top off your meal, you know this isn't an ordinary place. And the service staff are as skilled as those that prep and prepare the meals. If it hasn't come through, I like Patrick's!
Wife and I lucky enough to dine at Patrick's Bakery Cafe. The food was fresh and amazing, the service, from the front of house to the wait staff, the best. Portion sizes spot on, menu choices fabulous, There is not one negative - Patrick's Bakery Cafe is one of the best restaurants in Maple Grove. Ps Be sure after dinner to try the authentic large selection of French pastries.
Patrick's is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is great. We were very disappointed with the service on our most recent dining. The order was not correct and no apology was even offered. We dine at Patrick's weekly and it appears there has been turnover of employees.
We went for a quick bite before a movie.
Although we were there before it is a distance from home.
We had the French onion soup, chicken wild rice soup, and shared the duck with risotto and carmelized walnuts. All were prepared
And served beautifully. Will return
We always enjoy dining at Patricks Bakery Cafe! It reminds me of my hometown of Montreal! It is never noisy so one can enjoy dinner conversation. Our server was excellent! The food was good but perhaps not quite up to the the high standards set from our previous experiences there. The have many wonderful treats to pick from for dessert but there is no need to indulge as a surprise treat comes with the bill.
The location and setting are unpretentious, but the food was excellent and service was exceptional. An overall pleasant dining experience!
Lovely surprise to have table linens and fresh flowers on the table. Staff were attentive and courteous. Food was very tasty, we didn't do any puddings due to time but they looked amazing and we will be going back to try some. All-in-all a very pleasant meal.
Service staff is awesome -- friendly, appropriately attentive
Patrick's offers a delicious dining experience- whether breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. The fare is true to form and well prepared. The onion gratinee is superb! Seriously, do not miss Patrick's for dinner - the French specialties are excellent but so are the lamb and filet mignon and burgers. And how can you go wrong with an Opera Cake for dessert?
The escargot, not easy to find elsewhere, were delicious, a perfect start for the rest of a fine dinner. Mussels were generous and made a full meal with the baguettes. Service was friendly, helpful and prompt.
This was Tuesday night, kid's night so it was noisy. Food was good but our selection wasn't quite as good as on some previous visits. That said, if you like blue cheese, they give a big portion on the Make your own Salad selection.
Patrick's is reknown for its patisserie, great breakfasts, and lunch but do not hesitate to book a table for dinner! There is excellent cooking going on at this neighborhood eatery: the short ribs, coc au vin, filet mignonette, gratinee, and salmon are not only delicious but very reasonably priced. Combine smart, savvy food and a generous pour of Cab Franc (or other wine selection) on Ladie's Night for $3... and well, dining out can become a more regular affair.
The idea of Patrick's is good - food was not memorable and somewhat over rated
We have gone to Patrick's several times in the last three weeks. We have never been disappointed except when we ordered French Onion Soup, which was a surprise. Very little cheese on the top, onions over cooked and whole dish too salty. Duck, on the other hand, and steak were delicious and the walleye was good all three times we ordered it.
Spent a very pleasant evening...good service, good food and special Sunday pricing on a bottle of very good win.e
We normally go to Patrick's in Maple Grove, which has always been excellent. We went to this one because it is closer to our daughter and we were celebrating our son-in-law's birthday. I was extremely disappointed to discover the restaurant is seat yourself then go up to the counter to order your food. There we five of us, and my husband and I were buying, so we had to figure out what everyone wanted to drink and eat, and then take list in hand and go up and order and pay. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and did a good job, but the ambiance in Maple Grove is far better and more worthy of the price tag. We were looking for something a little nicer for this celebration.
It was a nice place , it took them a long time to prepare the food, my husband meat was dry, they seemed rushing us to leave after they brought the food , desert was very good
Great wait staff-- attention to detail, great menu
Great food, service and nice to be able to carry on a conversation without yelling in order to be heard!
The service is usually good but not this night. Waited for a long time before someone even came to the table, then waited a really long time for water, then a really long time for order to be taken. You get the idea...
Never disappointed with food and service.
It's always a pleasure to be at Patrick's. It's a hidden gem in an otherwise unremarkable strip mall.
This is my "secret" place for a lovely dinner. I will say no more.
Been here twice now in the last month. The food is very good and the bakery items are great! It's a nice little place. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I was here. Wasn't sure what to expect. The second time I recommended it for a friend's get together. I would definitely recommend this place. And, don't forget to get a little treat from the bakery before you leave.
Always enjoy the Patrick's on 66th....it has the feel of a neighborhood resturant and the food of an expensive dinner place. Staff are friendly. The prices very moderate.
The restaurant was an enjoyable experience for my family. I usually eat there daytime. The service was fantastic & the food good. I'm impressed by the amazing desserts to choose from.
Patrick's never disappoints--we went for Mother's Day dinner for their white tablecloth service. Despite the holiday crowd, the service and food are always great--really nicely done salmon and sea bass with friendly and professional service, without being fussy or pretentious.
Patrick's offers neighborhood, family dining with a French flair. The menu is deceptively robust and delicious. The short ribs are extraordinary as are the salads, Coc au Vin, and filet mignon, quiches and burgers. Patrick's is reknown for its Bakery offerings and the desserts are spectacular. Service is agreeable as is the ambiance. Wine pours are generous and specials are always a great deal.
