Patrick's Bakery Cafe
Just a nice restaurant, no pretentious. Good food, good service, for busy place noise level is low. Great date night
Already have recommended it to others. Very pleasantly surprised. Good find in the neighborhood.
We came for the dessert, loved the dinner. It was wonderful, starting with the crusty bread. Very reasonable prices in my opinion.
Wonderful food & service & super cozy inside.
Valentine’s Day dinner. My halibut was tough and tasteless although the little bit of sauce on the plate was tasty. Menu did not specify a vegetable but mine came with mashed potatoes. I would have preferred vegetables but was not asked whether I had a preference. The restaurant was COLD because people were going in & out. Would have been nice to turn up the heat on such a busy evening. Most tables had reserved sign on them so they were certainly expecting the higher level of activity.
Good food, good service, the waitress was very good. My only issue was it was crowded. I would go back again.
Good, and dependable, food, and service as always.
Excellent good. A great value.
Our dinner was a very pleasant experience! Our food was delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful when we had questions. We all loved the extravagant dessert selections and shared them so we could try more than one!
Very comfortable, pleasant, and dependable place to enjoy dinner.
Very quiet table; you could carry on a conversation. Wide variety of menu options, though, oddly, no chicken entrees unless you count Cornish game hen. There was only one server but she was attentive and helpful. Nice selection of wines. Would definitely come back here.
Patrick’s is always enjoyable. Last night we had the New Years menu. It was good but very rich. We didn’t sleep last night.
Onion soup was mediocre for a French restaurant. Salad Nicious also mediocre. They can do better.
Small quaint restaurant in a strip mall. White table cloths & french feel. Great bread, wide variety of entrees and pastry case with many tasty desserts. Have been here twice and will go back.
Friendly efficient service. The server helped with suggestions and information. The food is flavorful and presented in a creative fashion. The complimentary hors d'oeuvres and baguette were delicious and a nice touch. Our new go to place.
I love their mochas, hot chocolates, eggs Benedict, beef bourguignon and macaroons. It's a nice little cafe to pick up a treat or sit down for dinner.
Always enjoy our meals at Patrick’s. The added touches of bread and small canapés (it’s called something else but can’t recall the exact name) before our meal and the little sweets afterward really round out the experience and make it special. The only disappointment is I never leave enough room for dessert. I have to make a special trip just for that.
Patrick's is UNDER RATED!!! This place is wonderful! Excellent food, good service and a restaurant that you can have a dinner conversation at without straining to hear the person across the table!! Love this place. Already planning for the next time!
Patrick's is always reliably wonderful food and service and ambiance.
We have eaten here for years & have seen a dramatic decline in the value aspect (small portions with increase in price & a large increase in their corkage fee. It’s too bad that they are shifting away from what attracted us initially, it’s now very average at best.
I’ve been to Patrick’s for lunch and enjoyed the experience. However, dinner was disappointing. I booked a reservation on open table and naïvely assumed that for dinner there would be table service. The moral of the story is don’t assume. We had to go up to the counter to order our entrées (just as you do at lunch) which were in the high $20+ range and put a number on the table for the cashier to bring the food to us.
Shame on me for not checking that out before we booked our reservations. I would not return here for dinner. For the price of the dinner entrées I expected a higher quality of food and would’ve hoped for tableservice.
In the end it didn’t seem to matter whether we had a reservation or not so I am not quite sure why they use open table for a reservation system.
The food, sevice, and value was very good. We would definitely go back.
Their bakery is quiet good, but their restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Counter service ordering is not a good way to do business and then bringing our two entrees 10 minutes apart is unacceptable. My wife liked her salmon, but my beef over a half pound of noodles was tasteless. Also, the counter service bordered on surly - she simply did not want to be working that night and let us know it. We won't be back.
A wonderful experience.
The food is always good but I wish they would rethink the way they run the front of house. No one greeted us (or said a word) while we waited once inside the door. 5 minutes later, we got our table (crammed into the middle of the room and a little too close to our neighbors). The waitress was really knowledgeable and friendly but took forever to take out order even for drinks. The food and drinks were great!
Good as always.
It is refreshing to have a quiet, restful environment to enjoy dinner and conversation.
Food was good and priced well.
My husband thinks they have the best walleye meal in town. Great service.
I’ve been going to Patrick’s for quite awhile. This trip left me a bit disappointed because it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. I can understand if the restaurant was busy, but there were only 4-5 table (including ours). Past visits have been good, this one however was disappointing
Love Patrick's. For full service visit Patrick's Thursday through Sunday. Monday through Wednesday you order and pay at the counter and your food is brought to your table when ready.
Every time we go here the food is good! Tried lots of different menu items and never had anything that wasn’t delicious! Truly french pastrys remind me of time spent in France!
It is usually good but this time, the service was slow , food was over cooked. We happened to be there on “kids night”
Mon-Thursday this is order at the counter, food is brought to the table. The entrees we ordered were excellent as was the wine. Patrick's is an outstanding restaurant in a not outstanding strip mall but it's convenient and has good parking.
Went on Sunday night at 6pm and had a lovely meal. The Nicoise and Seafood salads were plated beautifully and tasted delicious, although the seafood could have used more greens. And we had to ask for bread to go with the salads (Patrick's French bread is an important part of the meal!). The disappointing part of the evening was that we weren't told until after we ordered that the item we wanted wasn't available; even tho we knew right away what our second choice was, the server wasn't sure THAT was available either and had to check with the kitchen. Seems like either the hostess or the server should tell you when giving you the menu that something isn't available. . . but we'll definitely return because the food is really great!
LOVE LOVE LOVE Patrick's Bakery! It's always a good experience, regardless of whether we're coming in for dinner or just to pick up some desserts. Wish I lived closer so I could eat there more often!
Patrick’s is always great
The food is spectacular, the service attentive, and the extra touches (complimentary appetizer bites) are much appreciated.
We will go back to Patrick's Cafe again for both special events and casual Cafe dining.
Highly recommend this location as well as the location at Bachman's
Fantastic! As usual.
Excellent neighborhood spot in a strip center. Consistently good food and service. Nice variety on menu and wonderful bakery.
