Great place, great food, great service. Really happy to celebrate a special moment there
Great service and delicious meal.
Food was fantastic but portion was tiny, just for a taste. Service was the best and the waiter was awesome and he took cares of every details, except that day was my birthday and I marked this occasion when booking on line. however They did not do any happy birthday thing until my friend requested. We got a big plate with a ordered cake as well as a free candle and happy birthday note. I guess this would be done before request in a fine restanranut like this. Hope they will be working on this detail for a better best costumer experience. In all it was great for special occasions. It cost us $450 for five people and I tipped almost 100$ additionally.
Very good paella. Marvin, our server was excellent, very attentive and personable.
A bit too noisy for a date or romantic dinner around 8-9pm
Would come again.
We loved the vine Al-muverde. Superb quality. Churos was best surprise desert.
Lovely little spot on King Street - attentive wait staff and nice selection of menu items plus specials. Will be back.
Hands down my favourite restaurant in Toronto and I’ve lived here my whole life. Amazing and authentic Spanish food. There’s something for everyone on the menu, and the service is excellent. The only downside was it was a little dark and loud which was hard for my grandma who is hard of hearing and legally blind. But she loved all the food!!
More on style, less on substance and flavor
Patria has a great atmosphere , beautiful decor however the food was pretty average. Our server was very nice and helpful while we were ordering our food ,the food came on time and everything went nicely till our food started to be served ...We ordered pan con tomate and monchego for 4 people (double size), it was pretty embarrasing trying to find the cheese on the plate , everybody was nice to leave it to each other as the amount of cheese served was ridiculously small...Then followed patatas bravas ,empanadas, croquetas de sates , which tasted ok but again the amount for 4 people were really small even for tapas....Paella we ordered for $59 was a good size for 4 people but it was nothing to write home about ...We finished the meal with churros .It was a pleasant evening however I think Patria needs to up his game a bit if it wants to charge this much for such small portions
My husband and I love Spanish food - especially east coast Spain menus. We went to Patria for his 40th birthday and it was a lovely time, with a great atmosphere, yummy eats and a fabulous server. Highly recommend!
We went to celebrate our daughter’s 19th birthday. Contrary to what others have posted, they paid particular attention to my request for a corner booth and even had a balloon bouquet at the table! The service and ambiance was exceptional. Some of our dishes were very good but a couple were just good. We eat Spanish food quite a bit so we’ve had better patatas bravo and octopus.
We really enjoyed our meal at Patria. Even though it was tapas style, we felt the portion sizes were quite good. We were a table of three and we were all able to share in each plate we ordered. Our favourites were the dates and the octopus special. In addition, we enjoyed excellent service - from the greeting, to our friendly and knowledgeable server. The ambience is very cool, and while there was a buzz, you could still engage in conversation without feeling like you have to yell. A very good balance.
We would return, in fact we are already looking forward to next time!
The food and service were excellent and the ambiance was intimate and relaxing. I would definitely recommend Patria.
We celebrated my husband's birthday at Patria. The staff was very accommodating. They brought balloons for our babes which made their night. The food was fantastic - tasty, creative and cooked perfectly.
We had dinner this past weekend at Patria. There was some initial confusion regarding our reservation but they more than made up for it by providing us with some complimentary proseco. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and they went above and beyond. Food and service were both exceptional. I would definitely go back and recommend to anyone.
We were here to celebrate a special anniversary and were treated by the staff with complimentary surpises from the start right to the end of our meal. The staff was superb, from seating to explaining the menu to plate reccomendations as it was our first time there. All our plates were delicious and surprisingly filling. The ambience was lively, cozy & romantic all at the same time...perfect for a special celebration and rare night out for parents with young kids. Thank you Patria!!
Excellent service. Great food. Nice atmosphere. Would definitely return and recommend to a friend.
Patio is one of the best in the city. comfortable. away from traffic. lots of candles.
Service was good
Food was all mediocre. Not one of many dishes wowed us.
Great food, warm low-light atmosphere, great service! Highly recommend the sangria, croquettes and paella!
The food was fantastic however the app asked what the occasion was and I chose anniversary. At the restaurant, there was no indication to my server that that was the occasion so our meal proceeded without mention of it.
We came here for brunch on Sunday. It was a good experience. If you want good Spanish food, you need to try this place. Next time, we would like to come here for dinner!
Fantastic service! I recommend the bacon wrapped dates if they're on the menu when you go.
Perfect restaurant for a date or a night out with a couple of friends! Lovely food, atmosphere and service. The wait staff is great at making you feel special and important which truly adds to the experience. For all the foodies out there - go! You will definitely not regret it.
Went for a date night and were seated outside, very cozy and intimate atmosphere. Service was great, timing of courses was also great. We enjoyed all the food and the wine was spectacular. However the Paella was a bit disappointing, especially for a Spanish restaurant, but you can't expect much when it's made à la carte.
We were a group of 7 and the restaurant had a great oval table for us which was great as my group of friends dines out bi-monthly together and we all commented on the round table - we could all see each other and talk. The food was amazing the service was great - attentive and polite but nor formal or stuffy at all just easy-going and polite.
Love this place! We decided to sit on the patio this time and we were so happy we did! Fabulous ambience, delicious food and always good service.
Some plates are were amazing some were a total miss. The building was very hot, tight, and loud but the service was fantastic. If you can I would sit on the patio.
It’s not our first time at Patria. We had the opportunity to come few times already, and it was always amazing food and service. Yesterday, we celebrated our Wedding Anniversary with best friends. And, we did note on the reservation that we are celebrating anniversary.
The waiter was not attentive at all. She showed up twice. We had to tell the food runner to change our plates from appetizers to main dish because of the sauces on it.
At the end, we didn’t even get anything about our anniversary. The AC wasn’t working at all. It was uncomfortable of the heat in the restaurant.
Overall, we were disappointed.
The food didn’t taste authentic at all and way to expensive.
Make sure tou ask prices when ordering wine. The wine mgr will not volunteer and you might have a surprise...
Other than wine ordering, it is a great place
Patria was all we hoped - the Spanish Tapas were phenomenal and the atmosphere was even better. Such a cool restaurant filled with beautiful art and decor. We enjoyed croquetas de setas (mushroom croquettes), brussels bravas (brussels sprouts in spicy tomato), empanadas, and Paella. It was delicious and such a fun spot for a date night!
Wonderful meal. We had 4 sharable dishes and a small sized order of paella, two desserts and two drinks. We were absolutely stuffed. Sharing one dessert probably would have been fine. Both were to die for though, so I was happy we tried two. Would highly recommend. Not a budget restaurant; including tip was close to $200, but everything we ate was so delicious. We will definitely come back.
Food was overpriced based on the very small portions. Servers were not friendly.
Visited for a special occasion. The food and service were excellent. There were many scrumptious options to taste. Bacon wrapped dates were a hit. Patria elevates tapas to a new level. We're going to go back with a group next time.
Good food. Staff were very nice and attentive. They'll add a birthday candle to your dessert if let them know you're celebrating a birthday. Made it extra special!
Got off to a slow start. Waited for the wine a little too long. Waitress forgot. Also, they placed the bottle several tables away because we were seated in an isle. This meant we had to wait to flag down a waitress to top us up. This was a little infrequent and a little annoying.
Other than that the food was good to excellent. And the staff were friendly and polite.
Great restaurant, excellent decor and creative menu. Server was exceptional.
Beautiful patio area and great ambiance.
Excellent service. Food was good but only a few dishes stood out to me. The croquettes (mushroom) was especially savoury and full of flavour. We got a beef cheek paella maybe not the best choice in the summer but it was good not mind blowing. The hazelnut mousse was the best thing we had.
Service was exceptional. She did a great job of recommending number of dishes and which ones to get. Asked about each dish and what we thought. They dropped a bit of our beef cheek on the table and came out with the brand new one for us. Also they read the OpenTable details and surprised us with an anniversary surprise. It was very nice.
