First time at Patagonia. Loved the food. However, the chef, menu and waiters were unwilling to provide anything spicy to eat along with my steak so this will be my one and only time eating at Patagonia unless I bring my OWN peppers. I paid $85 for a bottle of wine that costs $18 at Specs. Holy Mark-Up Batman!! I don’t mind paying a little more, but this was a little ridiculous. Steak was really good; The NY Strip, Argentinian Style.
This was my first time here and I truly enjoyed it. It is a little pricy but the foods are different so it was worth it. My only issue, and the only reason for not giving 5 stars is because the night we were there (Wednesday evening) they were giving dance lessons and the music was SO LOUD!!! It was not necessary for it to be so loud. My guest and I had a hard time hearing each other. Other than that, I recommend this restaurant and will go back but night on the nights when they offer dance lessons.
Everyone was nice and helpful. The food was good
Excellent service, awesome meats quality
superb food and attentive staff together with great wine and seating make this a 5 star restaurant
Everything was excellent! The piano was a little loud for a small space, but other than that service and food was excellent!
Overpriced & small serving sizes. Our waiter was very kind
Absolutely wonderful experience. Great food, service, and ambiance. Live piano was very good. We hope to be back soon.
EN SU VALUACION DE PRECIO PONEN $$ YO CREO ES $$$, PORQUE YO HE ESTADO ENRESTAURANTES EN HOUSTON DE $$$ Y PAGUE LO MISMO EN ESTE RESTURANTE
Nice, moderate neighborhood Argentinian food. Crab cakes were not meaty or crispy, but the meats were right on (Outside skirt and Mixed Grill).
As a neighborhood restaurant, many folks continue to come extremely casual (shorts, jeans), so no longer a place I want to go for a date night out.
Piano on Saturday night is nice. Nothing to write home about, just a relatively expensive neighborhood place ($250 for 2, with moderately price wine!). (3 pieces of Asparagus for $12) Service staff were gracious, and informative.
Quality of the food came no where near the price charged
More chicken than beef offering and even the chicken was the thickness of a crepe.
If you want better Argentinian experience try Saldivia's
If you want excellent Argentinian experience check out La Vaca in Guadalajara Mexico. Worth the flight and experience.
Great staff, always checking on our needs. Good recommendations both on food and wine. Amazing experience overall, thank you
Always a great steak and atmosphere!!
It was our first visit and we were impressed by the menu, wine list, service, food preparation. There was also a piano player to add to the atmosphere.
Oder the cream spinach, it’s a surprise how its served and so good there will be no leftovers.
This is a First Class restaurant all the way. The attention to detail from the wait staff to the kitchen is impeccable. Took mom for 83rd birthday, she had a beautiful Filet. She asked for a pat of butter on top of it, the staff came out to find out if she preferred salted or unsalted butter? Their wine recommendation was spot on! Does not get better than this.
Our first time. Won't be our last. Delicious food and wine, plus a warm ambience. Live piano, excellent service, and quality food.
The worst experience anyone can have booked reservation for 6 on Wednesday to dine on Sunday called the restaurant on Friday to reconfirm the restaurant called me on Saturday to reconfirm one more time arrived at the restaurant at 730 pm for 730 pm reservation only to be told our table is not ready they tried to put us in a booth but it was impossible with heavy coats a table became available and we're told it's reserved for a larger party so after waiting for one and a half hours we had to leave and ind another restaurant on Valentine's day no apologies what so ever
The food, scenery, venue, mod, and service was spectacular. We’ll definitely will be coming back.
It felt like I was back in argentina. The food was phenomenal and we'll definitely be back. It was also fun to have live tango to watch :)
The food was quite good, there's no doubt about it. We were also one of the only tables dining, so the server was attentive. I don't know if it's COVID related, but their price points were significantly higher than I expected for the value. More on par with NYC, or DC restaurant prices. That is the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars.
Went here for my wife’s birthday, couldn’t of gone any better. Great food, great service and exciting desert!
Excellent food and service.
We held our wedding reception here 3 years ago and have returned for Valentine's Day, birthdays and New Years Eve since then. Each time, the food (especially the chimichurri with ribeye) is spectacular, makes me close my eyes and slow down and savor it, and I miss it for days. The decor is beautiful and elegant. The wine is excellent - I have tried their champagne, chardonnay and zinfandel and have lovee them all. There is also live music, usually a saxophonist but recently a grand pianist. I love the atmosphere. Service is, needless to say, five star.
Great ambience and the food did not disappoint. Service was great! We'll be back!
Great experience, everything very good! Service was very attentive and wanted our satisfaction. Highly recommend.
Amazing evening. Seba is the best!!!!
Food was oily and cold. Inattentive service. Poor quality for almost $300!!
Very attentive service. Excellent food. The couple we were with agreed that we will return soon to try more of the menu.
Top notch everything in this restaurant. We drove two hours to dine here again after accidentally finding this place two weeks ago and we’re planning another trip this week to bring friends! Incredible flavor and fabulous service!
The service and food were great. Our waiter was very knowledgeable.
Looking forward to coming back again.
Great Chef and amazing food. Also Wednesdays they have Tango lessons.
Great Steaks and love the starter salad. Very personalized service and the chief checks on you as well. Wine selection is one of the best in Houston. Best selection of Malbecs anywhere.
Food and service great
Excellent food and service
It was clean safe and the staff was superb!
Steak was over cooked and overrated.
The family platters are nicely sized, but once we did
the math it would have cost less to order separate
plates. The restaurant is quite dark so we couldn’t
see the meat too well. That meant we did not know
which cut we were serving, nor that it was mostly
charred too much. Great flavor though but stick to
individual plates. Good service.
I really enjoyed my dinner with my son at this restaurant. The bartender was great and it was not crowded or loud. The food was very good.
Everything we had from the empanadas (we had beef and lamb) to the steak and seafood entrees and the simple yet delectable desserts (flan, Argentinian crepe, sorbet) was wonderfully tasty! And the service —well done! They took care of every detail to make our special occasion feel exactly that.
Thank you for your review! We are humbled and so happy to hear we met your expectations! Come back and see us soon!
