We love Pastiche! The food and service are always top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable. Many menu items can be ordered in bistro portions as well. Keep up the great work!
Came for early pre-theatre cocktails and dinner.
Recommended by yelp, Pastiche was a delightful surprise in an unassuming strip mall. Dinner before a concert, it was a perfect choice for an early date meal. While it lists itself as business casual, casual dress seemed fine. The food was very good (although I'm not vegetarian, I enjoyed the grilled Portobello with sweet potato cakes and quinoa); my partner loved her NY strip... but the accompanying rice wasn't very flavorful. The prickly pear lemonade was yummy and sweet (one free refill). Try the signature mushroom soup!
Our server was attentive and even the owner stopped by our table to greet us. Happy we used Open Table for reservations. It wasn't busy at 5:00, but we got a table by the window, which is always nice.
We were in Tucson for a business Conference and enjoyed are meal at Pastiche the most. Our server, Drevin, was energetic, knowledgeable and his enthusiasm made the dinner special. I enjoyed the Pork Oslo Bucco with mushroom risotto and my husband loved his Seafood Cioppino. We shared a delicious beat and mozzarella. The menu had many choices. We were very pleased with this restaurant.
Had a wonderful meal . it was crusted pepper corn scallops.
Pastiche is one of our favorite restaurants. Always an excellent meal and great service.
Well normally it is a great experience, but this time the service was very slow. We waited close to an hour for our full service to be completed. Also some of the vegetables were over cooked.
We had a wonderful evening at Pastiche while vacationing in Tucson ... found them on Open Table and reviews were good so we decided to give them a try. Four of us were seated in a roomy booth and greeted by our waiter - Roberto. He was wonderful - very knowledgeable on the evening's specials and the menu overall. He's very passionate about his job and made our evening memorable.
For appetizers, we shared the calamari - it was lightly breaded and had a great dipping sauce- and the truffle fries - YUM ! I had a salad topped with Salmon - everything was very fresh. My husband had the Duck Breast dinner special - perfectly prepared. I can't remember what the other couple had but I do remember that they both raved about their dinners. Oh, and did I mention that it was a Wednesday evening with 1/2 price bottles of wine - so we enjoyed a higher price wine that we would normally order. Highly recommend this restaurant and ask for Roberto as your waiter !
I made a reservation for a friend and I so we could have a nice lunch in a setting that easily allowed conversation. Our server was so friendly and helped us determine what to order. I'm sensitive to garlic, so he made sure the pesto was on the side of the polenta stack. The food was absolutely delicious!!!
It is one of the few restaurants in Tucson that maintains an environment conducive to quiet talking with your friends. Too many restaurants in Tucson play music too loud and have not implemented ways to reduce the noise levels which is unfortunate.
Excellent place for half a dozen regularly to celebrate Easter.
Fabulous fresh and creative cuisine with warm and personable expert service. Charming interior- fun and comfortable. Scallops to die for, seasonal twists, something for everyone / breakfast and Easter Brunch entrees all tempting and hard to choose, so will definitely have to come soon again to try some others..,dinner menu looked great also.
Our party of three senior couples (sixty-something to eighty-something) was seated in Pastiche's large booth on south side of the restaurant's front door for an early-ish Saturday dinner following a matinee theater performance. Our varied meals all were perfectly prepared and served, and after dinner our prompt, articulate waiter volunteered on his own to deliver three separate checks, all correctly calculated (most appreciated). Also, and very important to us hearing-challenged diners, the low ambient noise level in the front of the house allowed all of us to chat, and actually hear one another, throughout the meal. Well done Pastiche!
Visiting Tucson on our 30th anniversary. Got a tip to try this restaurant from a waiter at another restaurant! Had a wonderful dinner here. Loved the food and the ambiance!
We hadn't been to Pastische for several years so we decided to try it again. The scallops were delish! My husband's steak special tasted good but was so grislely that it was hard to cut. When we made the waiter aware of the issue, they made it right by comping the meal. We really enjoyed the ambiance - quiet enough to hold a conversation! We will definitely return!
Nice quiet restaurant for both locals and those in search for a good meal and good cocktails. Food is always good here and the art for sale on the walls are a nice touch and great conversation pieces.
We have been going the Pastiche for years to celebrate special occasions. This was no exception, with it being our 50th wedding anniversary to be shared with friends. Everything was exceptional.....food, service, ambiance, and seating in our favorite booth. Jim did an outstanding job making sure everything was perfect and ended the meal with a special dessert for our special day. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a consistently excellent experience with a personal touch!
We had a delicious dinner in a very attractive atmosphere. The service was excellent.
First visit for me & I was pleased. The service was friendly & efficient. My beet salad was tasty & I enjoyed it but was slightly overdressed for me. My dad ordered the filet and was pleased & I had the Mahi Mahi & it was perfectly prepared—light, crisp & very tasty. We will return.
Pastiche has been a great restaurant . We eat there at least one or two times per month. It is a good stop after the Tucson Symphony and ATC. The new ownership has done a great job of continuing the restaurants performance.
Everything was great with the exception of the tall young kid who sat us!
He went to sit us at a high top and I told him I reserved a regular table and he said we don't have any of those available.
I told him that I saw one in another area and he said it needed to be bused. I told him it appeared to already have been bused? We were both looking at the bused table and he argued no it has not been bused! I told a three times it appears bused, then he seem aggravated and sat us at that table!
Rule 101; don't argue/lie to customers!
This kid need to go back in the kitchen and work, he's obviously not ready for the big time!!
We had a delicious Irish dinner on St Patrick’s Day. As usual, the food was dependably tasty and nicely presented. The staff went out of their way to make certain we were satisfied with everything. They strive to make eating there a positive experience. It is!
We went for St. Patrick's dinner. We'd been on this occasion before but this time the Irish dancers didn't stay long enough to appreciate what they do. Also, if you want extra soda bread, there is quite a hefty surcharge. Food quality overall is excellent and its wine list is good. It just needed a wee bit of tweeking for St. Patrick's dinner.
Everything about Pastiche was great! It is one of our regular hangouts and we are always pleased! The food is delicious and the service is great! We feel very special every time we walk in!
We went for St Patrick’s Day and classic corn beef and cabbage meal. WONDERFUL!
I enjoyed my visit on St. Patrick's day with my family. I had the traditional corned beef and cabbage meal which was very good. Other order was fish, I can't comment on that as I don't eat fish. The atmosphere is always great and quiet and relaxing. The only thing I missed was the previous owners gave out a green carnations. Always a nice touch. I givery Pastiche 4 stars.
The service we received and value were both awesome. The only complaints I had were the lights were very bright, creating a not so romantic atmosphere, and out of three tables in the restaurant we were all sat very closely back to back. It felt crowded. The food was good though.
The meal I had was very tasty although a little dry. I was disappointed in Father Rick's mushroom soup though. It wasn't as rich as I remember from last time. Something missing.
Service was excellent.
Food was excellent,as was service, and we could all hear each other.
Sarah, our server was phenomenal not only to us but to all of her tables.
A very accommodating restaurant. enjoyed the service.
Excellent menu with ability to get "bistro" size portion. Mushroom soup is not to be missed.
Always a wonderful experience
Chicken scalloping was fabulous. Petite Syrah was wonderful . Wait staff did an excellent job
In town for a night visiting UofA and my teenage daughter found this on open table. Had salads and soup and everything was fresh and delicious. The owner even stopped by to make sure we were enjoying everything.
Our once a month Ladies Dining Club love trying only locally owned establishments. We had a wonderful time and the service, food and atmosphere enhanced our evening out. We highly recommend giving Pastiche a visit.
We visited Pastiche for an early dinner during happy hour. There were excellent happy hour menu choices in addition to having the full menu. We had an app at the happy hour price and then had full dinners. I had the pork Osso Bucco which was excellent. My dining partner had the the lamb. It was also excellent.
We would definitely go back. One of the owners came over while we were there to make sure everything was going well. The attentiveness of the owners and staff was evident.
Took our daughter out to dinner while visiting her at UofA. This place popped up on yelp, so we gave it a try. The food was good but the service was great. We started with the deep fried avocado & it was really good especiallythe dipping sauce. It’s a must try if you’ve never had it before. I had the short rib special and had a special request. The server accommodated my request and even suggested a better alternative. My husband had the macadamia crusted fish & it was good. My daughter got the hamburger which was also good. We will definitely be back. The Resturant decor was extremely out dated but that had no baring on the food or service since it was clean and kept up. We noticed the bar on the way out and it was huge. We ate early so it was not busy, loud or any waiting.
Enjoyed. Food was loved by all four of us.
The service and food was outstanding. The ambiance was great. Perfect place for dinner.
