The food was amazing, great choices. The alcohol choice is plentiful. Lastly, the staff, they are amazing!!! Very personable. We had Shannon, she was fabulous, very attentive. We recommend this place to anyone!

I absolutely LOVE Pastiche Modern Eatery!!!!
The new owners could not be nicer and for what they did for the Federal workers when the "shutdown" occurred, by offering the workers a free dinner, I realized I wanted to spend my money at Pastiche!!!
The food is very tasty and the wait staff are very helpful, polite and very fun!!!

We had a fabulous St. Patrick's Day dinner here! The corned beef was the leanest, most delicious and most moist that we've ever eaten in a restaurant! The cabbage and carrots were good, the concannon was great (first time we've ever had that very Irish dish in a restaurant!), and the house made Irish soda bread was light and delicious! Oh, and the Irish stepdancers added a very authentic touch, great dinnertime theater. Bravo, Pastiche, we'll definitely be back - many, many times!

We love Pastiche and have always had great experiences except for St Patrick’s Day. We realize it’s busy as we have enjoyed celebrating the holiday at Pastiche for many years. It seemed as if there were a couple new employees that couldn’t handle the busy crowds. We’ve never seen such slow service and we’ve been there for major holidays when every seat was taken.

The host struggled with our reservation and computer system. He couldn’t quite figure it out and had large lines stacked the entire time we were there. We requested a low table as 4 were empty but he said no because of reservations coming in at 6pm. Um, it was 4:45 and our reservation was at 5pm.

We were seated and it took close to 15 min to be waited on. Another 15 min to receive our drinks. The food did arrive in a timely fashion and was excellent as usual. No complaints with the food. Our server never returned to our table to check on us. We never got a refill on our drinks. We sat another 15 min after our plates were cleared and had to wave our arms to ask for dessert. She again never returned and we had to get up and chase her down for the check. And then she mixed up the checks (2 parties at our table) and had to rerun the cards. She was very nice and apologetic but we noticed she could not multi task as we watched her run from table to table.

People were backed up at the door and weren’t being given tables that they had reserved. Well, when the servers aren’t checking on tables and every step is a 15-20min wait, the tables won’t be cleared for the next people. We should have been in and out in an hour as usual but this stretched out for close to 2 hrs.

We will definitely be back for regular dinners but we may need to find a new spot for our yearly tradition of St Patrick’s dinner.

I love Pastiche, because it is to restaurants what a really good meat loaf is to food -- where we go when we want to be comforted and comfortable. The food is well prepared and tasty, service is friendly and efficient, and it is blissfully peaceful without all the noise and clatter which currently seem so fashionable.

I'm part of a committee that meets monthly at Pastiche for a lunch meeting. A quiet experience and efficient service (in addition to great food) are important to us. Pastiche is usually able to meet all our requirements

Have eaten here 3 times in the last 2 months, as an out-of-town visitor looking for somewhere to eat very good food in a relatively quiet comfortable restaurant. The tables are far enough apart and acoustics are good so people who might be hard of hearing, or who just don't like to shout, can enjoy it. The food is nothing highly unusual but is very well-prepared and tasty. Bacon-wrapped shrimp great appetizer; with soup and/or salad, could be dinner. Soft tacos are also excellent. Blackened salmon very nicely done. Drink list very interesting but haven't had a chance to try it.

The ambience of this place is nice, nothing particularly outstanding. The noise level was mostly at a minimum, which is nice. Waiter was veery attentive, not knowledgeable about the wine list, but pretty standard for a young person. Food was not outstanding by any stretch of the imagination. The waiter touted the lamb among the patrons' favorites. It was tough, tiny, and not cooked evenly. If I'm going to pay $28 for a couple of lamb ribs, they better be meaty and tender. Pass on that entrée. Salmon cakes--bland. Bacon-wrapped shrimp--very good. Baked macaroni, disappointing, especially at $ 18 for a not-generous portion. Blackened salmon was not even blackened on a single side, and was as bland as baked salmon without any seasoning. Flourless chocolate tort tasted like a stale candy bar. Sent it back it was so bad. Crème brulee had a perfect crust on top, but underneath, the crème part had the consistency and taste of instant pudding. Yuck. The Tiramisu was decent, but nothing to brag about. Not a single layer was soaked in any kind of liquor or coffee. Won't be returning to Pastiche.

I had terrible food but did not want to spoil the evening for our friends by complaining and waiting for a new meal. Our friends liked their food, so it was my bad luck to choose the chicken souvlakia. The chicken had been over cooked much earlier, the rice was cold, rice on another meal was hot. The accompanying salad was also poor- it looked like lumpy salsa had been dumped on greens. A very poor attempt at this easy to make dish. My fault for not complaining, Pastiche fault for serving it.

Very good food, service, decor. Four of us ate early on a Saturday. all dishes were excellent. Although it was busy, it was not too noisy to hear conversation at our table. The happy hour menu was adequate. The Malbec was meh, OK, but it was the only different red wine on the menu. The red wine list could be improved with something besides several versions of merlot and cabernet.

This is always a very reliable place for an excellent dinner, as well as a great place for conversation. The noise level is low, which is so unique in today's restaurant world. The standard menu offerings, as well as the daily specials are always very well prepared, consistent, and excellently presented. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly. The Wednesday night wine bottle pricing is a treat. I always look forward to a dinner, or lunch, at Pastiche.

Very friendly staff- the owner's wife stopped by at the conclusion of the meal and we enjoyed meeting and talking with her. Wednesdays they do half price wine bottles and so we made sure to visit on Wednesday. Our waiter helped us make a wonderful wine selection- Juggernaut. If you like big bold reds don't miss that one. The greek grilled ribeye was wonderful.

My only disappointment the soup was warn not hot, but still delicious. Would have sent back, but it was very busy and we really didn't have the time.

My wife and I enjoy this place every time we visit. The restaurant was just as good on Valentine’s Day as any regular night out, which is impressive considering it’s a busy night out to eat. Their menu is always tasty and diverse. The staff/owners are polite and professional

More stars means better but do more bars mean less sound or more sound? I chose two bars because the sound was good for holding a conversation across the table which is good.

As always, the food at Pastiche was excellent, and the service exceptional. We celebrated Valentine's Day with 2 other couples, and everyone was very pleased. Judie and Costas are the perfect hosts!

Our server, a sweet young lady made our Valentines dinner a perfect night out for my husband and myself and two friends who joined us at Pastiche for the very first time. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his steak and I had the Mediterranean Seafood pasta. We all enjoyed the perfect blend of Mushroom bisque w that incredible fresh baked bread and pesto...a glass of wine just brought it all together. We can’t wait for another excuse to go back.
