It was delicious as usual
I had the eggplant parmigiana and the eggplant was tough and the breading burnt around the edges so I couldn’t eat it, when my wait person asked if I wanted to take it home I said no it’s too tough to eat. She said she would tell the chef but did nothing to make it right. I just paid the bill and left unhappy
Good Italian food with a sidewalk atmosphere.
Service is good not great.
We go there all the time. Always excellent!!!!!!!
The food was great and came to the table quickly
The owner seemed very involved
Very good Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Pleasanton. Would definitely return.
Good food and value for the dollar. Nice place I would go back to.
Delicious bottomless sangria on weekends!
Excellent lunch presentation of the crab wedge - delicious!
Great waitress. Great time. Thanks very much for a great evening
Wanted to visit the restaurant again as the last time we were here was about 8 years ago.. Was disappointing then but decided to go back and we were pleasantly surprised... The place had been updated, and the place is exceptionally clean..The waiter was excellent and checked on us often within being intrusive. The food was great... I had the chicken Parmigiana and my wife had a seafood pasta dish. A nice glass of wine and some cheese cake for dessert with Irish coffee finished a lovely evening... Will definitely come back again!
very good and in such a nice place. enjoyed it very much.
This is our go to place for a great meal with top service.
Eggplant parmigiana and the margherita pizza were average. Service was really good.
The whole evening was wonderful. Both of our meals were delicious. Our waiter was upbeat and paced our meal so we never felt rushed.
I’ve eaten at this establishment many times, this is the first time I’ve been disappointed with my food. I ordered the French Toast which comes with potatoes, bacon, and fresh fruit. The potatoes and bacon was cold, the syrup for the French toast which normally comes hot was also cold. The potatoes for all our meals were cold, we were a party of four. Our waitress was kind enough to replace the potatoes.
While the ownership seemed very nice, our waiter was extremely impatient - didn't bring out bread as every other table had.
The food was OK - needed a lot of salt and pepper but fixable.
The kitchen - was disgusting. I went to the restroom and could see inside the kitchen and was so turned off by everything all over the floor and messy tables that I finished my meal.
The food is always delicious here. My most recent visit was wonderful, I enjoyed an arugula salad with a very satisfying dinner entree which included a large juicy lobster tail with butter sauce and the most tender filet mignon grilled to medium rare perfection, a side of garlic mashed potatoes and some fresh mixed vegetables with broccoli and asparagus. For desert I had a decadent piece of dark chocolate mousse cake. All this outstanding food for a very reasonable price.
Food was superb; atmosphere lovely and servers attentive and very pleasant!! Would definitely eat here again.
Pasta's has excellent food and service. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great dinning experience in Pleasanton.
Wait staff was polite and accommodating. Even though they were out of our first wine selection, the waiter suggested an alternate and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, savory, and filling. Our waiter was not overly intrusive by making a lot of visits and gave us enough privacy while also getting us everything we needed.
Fantastic food! Quality, authentic Italian right on the Main. Great people watching too in the window ;) Professional servers. First time there and not my last! Very impressed.
Food is excellent and very friendly staff. Always have a great
The food was very good but my husband was disappointed because he had his taste buds set for lasagna, which was showing on the online menu, but when we got to the restaurant, he was told the menu had changed. He did enjoy his other choice.
Nice quiet place for a meal with a friend where you can actually hear each other. Food was very good and our server was pleasant and accommodating to our sharing a meal (they split it for us in the kitchen).
We so enjoy Pasta's for special occasions or a quick pizza before the theater. The service was exceptional on our last visit and the welcoming of both Maitre d's made us feel right at home. The food was well-presented and our server was on top of our every need. The only thing we would change would be the noise factor so next time we will ask for a quieter table maybe further in the back. Pasta's is our go-to spot before any show we see at Firehouse Arts. It's within walking distance which makes it really convenient.
Every thing was amazing! The service was great, a little late to start off with but still was amazing.
We visit Pleasanton periodically and enjoy Pasta's Trattoria. The restaurant is conscientious, service is attentive and the kitchen never skimps on portions which are generous and tasty. The wait staff are trained, polite, but don't hover. This place has a touch of class and we will continue to patronize.
New Years Eve dinner was excellent. The lamb chops were extremely good. Service was also great especially given how busy they were.
We had a reservation for New Years Eve. the table was ready, service was great and the food was outstanding. The restaurant had light New Years decorations. All and all I would give them a 10.
We picked this restaurant thinking it was a different place. At first, disappointed that we chose the wrong restaurant, we ended up being very happy with our choice. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful!
Amazing service and the food was delivered hot and to our liking. The fish special was out of this world.
We were so looking forward to Christmas Eve dinner but had undercooked potatoes, kids didn’t like their food and a spider in our dessert.
The food was amazing. A small issue at first with our table being right by the door and a super cold breeze hitting us every time it opened. But they gave us another table and we had a great evening.
The food and service was great, however our table was near the door, and every time someone can into the restaurant we got a shocking cold breeze. It wasn't pleasant. There was a large party seated near us that was very loud, and tended to hover close to our table which was a little awkward.
Much appreciate Rick finding a great table for 8 with 3 service dogs for a holiday lunch with friends. Six of the guests were from the South Bay and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their entrees. Servers was terrific! We were not rushed and had a wonderful experience. Always a great dining experience and we are always made to feel special!
The only negative aspect of the meal was being given the wrong prix fix menu card. I was really looking forward to the beet salad, but it wasn't to be had.
Arrived early and taken to our table. We were seated in a great location. Offered a pre-dinner cocktail and not rushed to order. Lobster bisque was the seasonal soup and yummy. My chicken Parmesan was a very hearty portion and excellent. Overall an excellent dining experience.
LOVE Pastas! Amazing food, great services. You can't go wrong with the specials, always amazing.
In town on business . . . looking for a good place with some decent vegetarian options. Bingo.
Non-vegetarians note: you are this place's mainstay, they just happen to offer great options for others.
