Told they had no available tables for 7 pm on Saturday nite. Made a 6 pm and were not seated until 6:30. Irritating. Entrees were ok, not outstanding.

Very good as usual. Anthony is a really friendly waiter and knows his stuff. We had friends with us from California who consider themselves foodies. They really enjoyed it too.

I ate a lovely meal at Pasta Pasta with my parents. I personally did not love my entree, but I would attribute this to my own personal tastes and not the quality of the food. The appetizers I tried, the shrimp and cheese wontons and the sesame crusted calamari, were both great, and my parents both enjoyed their entrees. For dessert we tried the apple ravioli, something like that, which was amazing. The restaurant is located in the charming shopping area of Port Jefferson, and I would definitely eat here again.

Food was too greasy and over done. Fried ravioli? No good. My date had some dish that had Parmesan on top but they were literally slices of cheese rather than shredded or grated. Basically they have no idea what they’re doing there. Our bus boy asked us 3x if we were done after only 10 mins of getting our dishes which was followed by another waitress asking us again. We barely sipped our water and they kept refilling. There was no privacy during our time there. I wouldn’t go back but there aren’t many options in the area.

Pasta Pasta is one of our favorite restaurants! Every time we go, we are always very pleased with our meal, the service and the ambiance! The owner, Steve has a real gem and he continues to maintain the high quality of food! Due to his commitment, the restaurant has been around for a long time and hopefully, will continue to thrive. We LOVE PASTA PASTA!!!! :) :)

Came here for our anniversary dinner. Last minute plans so I wasn't expecting anything. Seems like a busy Thursday night for the staff because the hostess was MIA when we got to the restaurant and on our way out. We got seated next to the kitchen which wasn't the best spot to be considering the occasion. Our waitress was running around and I noticed that she took the order of the party who came after us before she got to our table. Food was decent. I wouldn't come back anytime soon.

Pasta Pasta is just plain lovely! The staff is always super nice, and veryattentive. The food is always outstanding, delicious, and creative. The ambiance is also great...cozy nooks for date night and a larger, more open area for a group. I can't say enough about this restaurant!

Food was outstanding! Literally....Ambiance was nice.
Only minor gripe I have, is the service was almost too good, in that as soon as a portion of my water was sipped a woman came over and refilled the glass immediately. Also, the lady who took the plates away was literally standing over us, as we were provided with a table in front of the wine bar. She was harmless, but it felt a bit awkward as my wife and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary...all in all - it was a good experience...just slight room for improvement in terms of "too much" service.

Love Pasta Pasta . The only thing that would make it perfect is a full bar. They only serve beer and wine. It's still worth it though. Great food, good menu and great service.

Sadly disappointing. I have been going to this restaurant for at least 20 years, but it had been a while and it has gone seriously downhill. Went for lunch on Tuesday of this week to celebrate my husband's birthday on a rainy afternoon. The place was seriously understaffed for the number of diners they had. Our server, Yvonne, was working very hard, but she seemed to be the only server for the entire restaurant and service was very slow. She could not have been nicer, but she could only do so much. Unfortunately, the food wasn't worth waiting for. The appetizers were uninspired and the pasta was downright bad. I have always loved this place for the location, the ambiance (lovely tables on old oak floors) and the food, but it has definitely taken a turn for the worse.

We had a 6:30 reservation on a Saturday night and found that we were ready to eat earlier than that. When he walked into Pasta Pasta at 5:15 the hostess was very accommodating and seated us right away. She was very helpful and we ordered a variety of appetizers which we shared among the four of us and enjoyed each and everyone of them. There were plenty of small plates etc to order (something I was not expecting). We had just had some wine on the dock so we did not order any alcohol. The waitress was totally accepting of our choice not to drink anything other than water. The service was very pleasant and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant for either a regular meal or a drop in as we had done that evening.

From the minute we walked in everything was perfect. Deb our waitress to Luke our server. Was there Saturday evening and the place was crowded but all the workers were professional and attentive to all the patrons waiting to be served. Had the sword fish with the salad . Excellent and sword fish was so fresh. Other members of our party had the seafood special .. delicious ... the bread is a must . Warm on the inside and crispy outside . Will be going again next week to celebrate a friends birthday. That's how much I enjoyed it...

Pasta Pasta never fails! Haven't been in the area for a while and decided to have dinner there. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. We were not rushed and all. Every item we ordered was excellent. Oh .... and the bread.... to die for! I rarely eat bread but just can't resist the heavenly bread at Pasta Pasta. If you've been there, you know what I'm saying. The one thing that would've prevented me from writing a review is the fact that I selfishly don't want to have to wait for a table here by attracting more patrons. This is the 9th or 10th time I've been here and we drive an hour and twenty minutes from queens to eat here. To start, there was a wait. My reservation was booked on OpenTable for 830 and we weren't seated til 9pm. But it was worth the wait. The wasabi calamari is my favorite appetizer I've ever had anywhere EVER! The baked clams were also awesome. I ordered the baked chicken which was delicious and my fiancé ordered a dish with crab, pasta and artichokes which she loved. The service was polite and attentive. Aside from the usual weekend wait, I haven't been able to find a flaw in Pasta Pasta and I'm generally pretty blunt.

No pasta ordered here, we ordered the appetizer for two: very good, great calamari w. a sweetened asian sauce, stuffed clams were a bit underwhelming, felt like we were eating stuffed clams from the supermarket. This item could be better. A simple fresh half clam with italian breading and lemon butter sauce would have been more appealing and authentic italian.

I ordered the duck two ways, it was very good, I should've listened to the waitress and ordered it medium rare, instead I ordered medium and it was a bit chewy, but it was tasty. The risotto it sat on top of was laced with duck and delicious in that respect, but the risotto was a bit dryer then I would like and could be a bit more saucy as I am accustomed to expecting.

My friend ordered the surf and turf-that was delicious
My other friend ordered the black ravioli stuffed with lobster. That was good too. Nothing over the moon, but decent ravioli.

I like that when you order wine by the 1/2 bottle, you literally get a 1/2 sized bottle of wine, this insures its freshness and authenticity. That's a plus-plus in my book.

Sadly, we had to run so we didn't order dessert, but we will be back to check that out
