Very long wait for both appetizer and meal. we knew it was a holiday but other tables around us
getting served before us after ordering after us. Our table had no oil for our bread or seasoning, only table we saw without and the waitress never noticed even as she kept coming back to tell us she was sorry for the long wait. food was average.
Terrible Terrible Terrible Terrible Terrible terrible
The ambiance here was very nice. However the food was just okay, our server had several tables so we rarely saw him, and we felt the food was overpriced for what you get. I don’t mind spending the money if the food tastes great but this was not the case here unfortunately. I don’t think we’ll be returning but it was good to try somewhere new!
My husband and I planned a last minute night out and we were not disappointed. The salmon was delicious! The atmosphere and ambiance was perfect! I highly recommend!
We are regulars at Pasta Pane for a very good reason--never disappointed in the food or exceptional service. The chicken marsala is the best I've had anywhere!
The nicest restaurant in Clifton Park
Great atmosphere and nice bar
Food including Pizza is very good
Food and service was great as always, highly recommend the pollo pane vodka sauce or otero dishes. Their Caesar salad is great as well.
Solid itslian food in a local spot. It can be dark in places, making it difficult to read menu without a cell phone flashlight. Depending wher you are seated, it also can feel a little tight. The good is consistently good, and the menu is not a typical southern Italian and instead has some creative pasta dishes .
Good food and great service Very cooperative and attentive service
The food is outstanding, fresh ingredients and presented well. The restaurant is pretty, like you are in a classy wine cellar, real candles lit are a plus. Romantic atmosphere.
Great Italian food. Professional, organized, dedicated, nice staff. Lively atmosphere. Tables close together, but you can still feel “date night ambience” if you wish. Bread was excellent whole grain and HOT! Bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar in special rack on the table so you can self-serve! Pasta bolognese was very salty. I would just ask in ask in advance if they could hold off on the salt. Great location on the way to Saratoga from Tri-cities area.
I’ve always enjoyed pasta pane one of my favorite restaurants and caters to gluten free issues.
Frequent diner here. Food good as usual. Pork shank incredible. Off night with a new server.
Food was fantastic; waitstaff was fantastic, and the calimari was outstanding!!
Food is always great here and service was good.
Two very minor complaints - sat us right next to other customers despite various other open tables and we didn’t get the waiter we requested when we made the reservation on Open Table.
Made reservations, got stuck by the bar, people were being obnoxious, couldn’t carry on a conversation! Salads are extra and outrageous!
Great service, excellent menu...we have been here numerous times and each visit always leaves us wanting to return!
This was our friends first visit to Pasta Pane and they enjoyed the meal. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and very friendly. She completed the whole experience. The food is vey good here.
This restaurant can be counted on to deliver good food at a reasonable price. Portions are ample. Great place to go that does not break the bank
Vibrant bar scene and decent food.
We were out Christmas shopping and were hungry, they had at table fortunately. We enjoyed a quality meal.
The ambiance and food were very good. But we waited for over 45 minutes between apps and dinner which was 2 kids meals and 2 pasta dishes. Manager on duty was very nice and offered to buy us dessert but by that time we were needing to leave. As a "concession" he handed us a coupon for our next visit, $10 off a minimum of $50, not counting drinks. Well, thanks, but no thanks. He had the coupon at the ready which made us think he must have to hand out a lot of apology cards.
Every aspect was excellent...food, service and ambience were all excellent!!
The noise level was awful loud. I was yelling at my husband over the dinner table that was so small, it did not have enough room for our plates. Seating is uncomfortable due to people walking by. The food was average. While edible, for Italian food it was bland. The best thing I can say is that the service was excellent.
This is by far the best restaurant in Clifton Park. Though it is more casual, they strive to give you a fine dining experience and they deliver every time. I have never had a meal there that I didn’t love!
The food was amazing as always and the service excellent.
Made a reservation for a quick dinner after a busy day. We took advantage of a bar table and ordered from the happy hour menu(4:30-7:30). They had comprehensive 2/1 wine choices and 2/5 dollar appetizers! Polenta and caprese apps were tiny but delicious! They had 1/2 portion entrees for 8 dollars and my penne with prusiutto and vodka sauce and husband's shrimp pesto were good sized and very good. Even their bread is crusty and great. Desserts were 5 dollars and they had several choices. Our waiter was professional and attentive. We will go back soon.
Always an excellent meal and service! One of the most reliable dining options in the Capital District. We have been to Pane roughly 30+ times and have never been disappointed. Worth the visit...
Excellent food and awesome Saratoga like atmosphere. I recommend it.
