    We had a great time. Exquisite service on everything. A bit overpriced but most restaurants are these days.it wouldn’t stop me from coming back every time we spend time in the coast

    We had a great meal at Pasta Moon for my husband's birthday, after many years of previous visits. Food is always top-notch, with flavorful and fresh salads, homemade pastas, good desserts, and an interesting wine selection. Our server was kind and helpful, although at times there were lulls in the service, as when we waited for glasses of wine to be delivered and later for the check to arrive. We always enjoy coming to Pasta Moon for a special getaway from the inland side of the peninsula.

    It was good but nothing special. The sausage pizza was really greasy and the pizza dough is unusual. The lasagna was good but had way too much pasta layers

    The food was wonderful as always. But they seem really understaffed for a lunch service. Our server was great, but she seemed really overwhelmed and scattered. But most importantly, when we arrived, we stood at the host station for 15 minutes before someone found the host and once host did arrive, she did not apologize.

    Came here for my husband’s birthday. No acknowledgment at all! Ordered the smoked linguini with scallops and its was very disappointing! I as los ordered the ricotta pizza and asked for calabrese salami, I got regular salami insten. Not coming back.

    Let me preface this by saying we have been to Pasta Moon many times over the years and always had fine food and service.Tonight was different. And it was my wife’s 50th birthday - the actual day. And we made a 10 mile trek over the hill. We brought our own wine and were prepared to pay the $35 corkage fee. What we weren’t prepared for is being ignored by the waiter, pouring our own wine and waiting 1.5 hours for our main course. And we weren’t even given the piece of dessert and candle for my wife’s birthday that we had been promised as we walked in. We were also unprepared for the management to have done *nothing* - no adjustment to the bill whatsoever - after having been informed of the problems. The food was good, albeit we weren’t in any mood to eat it after having waited that long and having already finished a whole bottle of the special wine we brought. Altogether a mess.

    Really nice restaurant with great service from the time you are greeted by the host, water person and waiter/waitress. Food is quickly served and looks and tastes wonderfully. Prices are reasonable for the plates, amount and quality of the meal.

    I have not been to Pasta Moon for many years; the last time was at the old location. We had three hot dourves, as well as entrées. The experience at this restaurant is remarkable, worth the drive from Monterey County.

    The restaurant was beautiful, spacious and very clean. The service was very attentive, the food was very good. Though the portions were fine, but we thought the price was slightly high, especially for lunch. Having said that, I think for special occasions, I would definitely come here, but probably not for regular dining. A very special place for birthdays, anniversaries…

    The food is always exceptional, but the service from our service was meh, at best. The runners and bussers checked on us all night and 5 stars for them. They were super kind, attentive and helpful. However, our server came over once to take our drink order, once to take our meal order and then at the end of our meal.

    Fantastic dinner: Brandied Tomato Cream Sauce Salmon with Spinach Fettuccini and Della Casa Salad with Chicken added. Chocolate Sorbetto. Amazing meal. Excellent service in a spacious setting. Great indoor and outdoor dining. Can't say enough about how attentive this restaurant is and how creative their menu is!! Great for Gluten-free.

    You come in for an authentic Italian experience and not only do you get that through their food, but their bartender Juan is serving up the most AMAZING craft cocktails. Arrive before your reservation and hit the bar for a bit.

    Booked for a first date and it was a great time and experience. We just had a light meal, two salads (Burrata and a Farmers that was delicious) and a butternut squash ravioli entree. The ravioli were awesome, with a little chilli flakes offered on the side even made their succulent flavor even better. Thanks for a great date and a really nice meal. Highly recommend

    This was our first time back for lunch at Pasta Moon since before Covid. It was superb!! The Strip Steak and Chicken Salad were better than ever. Service and attention to GF needs for one of us were excellent and timely. We truly appreciate the reliable excellence of this Restaurant for dinner and Lunch.

    The Farmer (nectarine) salad was wonderful. Butternut ravioli needed spice & a sprinkle of salt! The eggplant parm serving was huge but lacked flavor. Lovely place with terrific servers.

    Higher expectations, food was certainly good but uninspired presentation. Service was so so...kinda slow, just average. again I had higher expectations. $200 for four, two drinks, three entrees (split one eggplant Parmesan, vegan pasta and one pizza) three starters. Overall disappointing.

    The owner greeted us so warmly and had a terrific visit. The food was amazing -- from the Farm salad with nectarines and yummy goat cheese to the butternut squash ravioli. The fig appetizer was the best rendering of figs I've had. Such a delightful experience. Ambiance terrific.

    This was our first time dining at Pasta Moon at their new location. We go to Half Moon Bay several times a year, but since the restaurant is not open for lunch we have not been able to dine there until this trip. There is plenty of parking and the menu has something for everyone. The standout for us was their fresh peach and prosciutto pizza. The pizza dough is a little different (no complaints), and the flavor was out of this world. If they were open even one weekday a week for lunch we would plan our trips to coincide.

    Beautiful spot for a calm and relaxing lunch after a day hiking or playing at the beach. They have delightful homemade pastas, salads, and desserts as well as a kids’ menu.

    This was a first time for me visiting as a tourist in the area, but it is officially one of my favorite spots in SF. Our waitress was a rockstar who was able to accommodate our dietary requirements and was very helpful when it came to questions and recommendations.
