Beautiful restaurant. Every dish was delicious. The pairings were incredible. The butterscotch pudding is a must try!

If you want a nice experience, make sure you book your reservation for inside. If not, you may get seating in a tent in the parking lot next to parking blocks. I came here out of town for my birthday and the experience was not the best. The food was good but the servers made it clear as we sat down that they were busy, making it known that they were not going to be attentive to us. Many things we asked for were forgotten. The tent situation outside was a horrible experience. To pay a bill of over $250 to be seated next to a recycling bin with a view of cars backing out of their spots was disappointing.

A rare family meal given these difficult times! And given we were in a tent in the car park they really did a great job making it as memorable as it was. Would definitely return - though hopefully next time we can sit inside!

New location lacks the charm of original Pasta Moon, but it works.

First meal indoors at a restaurant since Covid. It was very nice. Bummer that my note in Open Table that it was our daughter’s birthday didn’t make it to the waiter. But otherwise, very nice.

Amazing homemade pasta with fresh ingredients. Large portions. We enjoyed every bit of our meal.

It's hard not to write overused words - great, wonderful, outstanding - and the like, but hey, such words truly apply to Pasta Moon! Great menu, wonderful attention from the staff, outstanding place for a lovely evening set apart from the cares of the day.

It was Easter so the service was very slow. Otherwise, it was very good. We will be back.

I really love this restaurant and have been a few times but this was a first at their new location and it is really beautiful. The food and wine were top notch as usual but the ambience of this location took it over the top. We sat outside with a heat lamp above us and it was very comfortable. Our waiter took good care of us without being fussy.
Will definitely be back!

Alaskan Crab Pasta is out of this world! Beet salad was very fresh and tasty. Drinks great too.

This is by far our favorite restaurant in the SF Bay Area!
We have been coming here for a few years now and try to frequent at least twice a year if not more. The quality,, the service and the ambiance is top notch! We’ve been to both locations and they are equally outstanding! Everything on the menu from the local seafood specials to the homemade pasta dishes never disappoint! Half Moon Bay has become our family favorite beach destination and it primarily has centered over our love for Pasta Moon! Thank you for continuing to set the bar on quality fine dining and cuisine without the pretentiousness! Cheers!

Best lasagna ever tasted in my life highly recommend.

We understand COVID has thrown dining expectations off but, would have appreciated a heads up when booking that there would be a possibility of dining in the events tent in the parking lot. Nice job trying to make it appealing given the circumstances.

It is hard to rate since the COVID restrictions just ended. Seems like they have great potential, but the food and service hit and miss. We assume once things are ironed out that Pasta Moon will regain its former glory.

Only critique is we told them we were celebrating a graduation and they didn't do anything special for us. Even a candle or something on the dessert we ordered would have been a nice touch.

Reservations were made noting two birthdays, there was no mention. I don't think they were quite staffed enough for the amount of people. Took a long time for the server to arrive, close to 15 minutes. That being said, tables are well distanced, owners were super appreciative for coming. The service staff was on top it as far as the water and the bread.

I fell in love with Pasta Moon over 20 years ago when it was at its old location. My daughter (then in college) and I dined there. OMG! So needless to say, whenever I went to visit her, we headed straight to HMB to eat at Pasta Moon. Fast forward and life moves on. Went there the other night knowing it was a new location and PRAYING during COVID we would get a spot inside which was allowed by the County. Met friends there. My raviolis were off the charts! As was the Brussels Sprouts crisps. Hubby had the LARGE lasagna and ate the entire thing!! Good wine all around so it was a great night out for the first time in eons!! Cannot wait to go back.

We had requested a table outside but were told upon arrival our indoor table wasn't ready. They said they had an outdoor table with no heater available now (no thanks) and another with a heater would likely be available sooner than an indoor table. Twenty minutes later, we still weren't seated and went elsewhere. What's the point of a reservation? Indoor dining was too crowded for my unvaccinated self.

What a great experience, great food, great service. And reasonable prices. This place is a gem!

Enjoyed the charcuterie board (caper berries?! cool!), brussel sprout salad, eggplant parmesan, and butterscotch pudding....and a couple martinis. Flavors were wonderful, and service was attentive but not intrusive. Salad was much smaller than expected, but delicious. Eggplant parm serving was huge--we split it and were still stuffed. I'm so glad they're open again. It was my first time in their new location (the old Citrella), and it was very nice...kind of farm-meets-metropolis feel. Cozy open booths were comfortable for spending romantic time.
