Pasta Lovers Trattoria
Big portions, good service, good food (mussels and pasta were awesome) we will be back.
My daughter and I ate here, and it was a lovely meal, the staff was very attentive, the food was delicious, portions were very generous. We will definitely consider a return visit next time we're in NY.
We have been to Pasta Lovers several times in the past. The services was excellent but the food was not up to is usual standards. The Rigatoni Bolognese was lacking much meat in its sauce and the Garden Salad had too much Balsamic dressing in it. The waiter was great in getting me more sauce and he brought out a new salad with the dressing on the side.
Great staff very attentive and warm hearted. I will definitely be coming back
Our first visit to this restaurant and we will be back! Lovely dining experience, excellent food, wonderful service. Kudos to our waiter Louis and the rest of the staff.
Great food ! Service was great food was delicious
Food was delicious, affordable prices, nice service! I wilk be back! Loved it
There were 5 of us visiting NYC and going to see a show. Chose this restaurant because it was located between it hotel and the theater. We all had a very good meal at a decent price for being in NY. World definitely go there again
Totally incompetent service.
I was there with my friend to celebrate my Birthday. After the excellent dinner the waitors surprised me with cake and singing happy Birthday. Made me feel so special. Overall a wonderful experience with great food and service.
Found this restaurant on yelp and decided to give it a try. I’m glad we did. Everything about this place was great and our server was awesome and the food outstanding. Thank you for a great dining experience.
The service was not the best but the restaurant was very busy. Food was awesome!
Great service and the pasta was good. Not super gluten free friendly as there are a few options but be careful.
Everything was so delicious. We will be back soon.
This place is a tourist trap that sells overpriced frozen pasta to people not smart enough to go anywhere else. I went here because my girlfriend saw their Instagram and said it looked good. She was wrong. The service was rude. “Here is a menu.” “What do you want to order?” That’s all she said to us all night. Gross food. One dish came out cold. Terrible atmosphere. I would have rather gone to the Olive Garden a few blocks away. This was somehow worse than that.
Everything was great! This was our third time there and we enjoyed every minute of it!
Delicious, we ate there twice on our trip!
I booked a reservation at this restaurant for my daughter’s birthday. I had eaten here before and it was always great. It has been a while and I found that I was disappointed in both the service and one of the signature pasta specials. The service was lacking any warmth and not welcoming but I believe it may have been in part due to not having many servers, were not very attentive did not come to check to make sure all was good. The meals were ok with the exception of the signature pasta special which is a “table side” pasta cheese wheel which was not served “table-side”. It was prepared out in the dining room but NOT in front of your table so you can see it made. That was the attraction to the dish and why it was ordered but that was a fail and although cooked in the cheese wheel was not cheesy at all. So overall disappointing. They did end the meal on a bright note by bringing out a birthday slice of cheesecake for my daughter and sang happy birthday. Not sure that I will make it a point to return.
The food was mind-blowingly good!! I can’t wait to return. The penne ala vodka was the best I have EVER had!!
We got there while they were closing but overall it was a great experience. Even tho they rushed the food and stuff we still felt as though we weren’t being rushed and the food was still amazing. I can only imagine how it would be with time. Sounds like a bad experience by under the circumstances, it was amazing.
Nice restaurant. The good was delicious. However, the waiter never came back to our table after he delivered our food to see if we needed anything. We waited 20 minutes after finishing for our check. Also, they add a 20% tip automatically on your bill regardless if the device was good or bad.
Needless to say the food was amazing. The atmosphere was a tad rowdy for my taste but overall a great place to eat.
Great atmosphere in the heart of midtown Manhattan. Great food with great service. A definite return trip will happen.
Caprese was yummy, service was attentive
Always a nice place for lunch. We usually go before or after a broadway show.
Salad was fine. The pasta with meatballs was blah. Sauce was blah. Only ate half. The molten chocolate cake was delicious.
We had an enjoyable family dinner here! All the employees were very friendly. There were 5 of us and we had different pasta dishes that were all delicious and not too expensive by NYC standards. Portions are also quite generous - everyone but my Dad had leftovers to bring home. I would definitely return if in the area.
Always a delicious meal with friendly and well informed servers.
This was the perfect after Theater dinner spot. Our table was ready when we arrived, nice corner booth, and our server was terrific
The food portions were large, and we could have easily shared. I had the eggplant parmesan and It was cooked just right. We'll go back when we are in the area.
I was very disappointed going here! The pasta didn’t taste much and I had the linguine. The wine was fine. And at the end of the dinner, the waitress demanded that we had to give at least 15% in tip, which didn’t not end up doing at all! Overall, it was a bad experience and I would’t recommend it.
The food was good but afterwards, the waiter wouldn’t let us leave until we gave him a bigger tip. He actually stopped us at the door and demanded we pay the full 20% in tip even though we gave 15%. The service wasn’t that great it took a long time to put the order in so I wasn’t planning on giving a huge tip. But he stopped us and demanded it so we ended up giving a bigger tip. So rude and probably won’t go back.
The Staff was very attentive, friendly and patient. The food was very good and the price was great considering it was Manhattan. My wife and I had an excellent time from the moment we arrived. Will definitely recommend to others and will return.
Our only observation was that the background music was inconsistent with the experience and wonderful ambience. Listening to Michael Jackson or some of the other poppy songs took away from what could have been an otherwise perfect dining experience. May want to consider playing Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett and others from that time period for a more suitable background selection.
We ordered four different pastas and they were all amazing!! The calamari was some of the best I’ve had as well. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting NYC!!
Love the new menu. Wait staff attentive and accommodating, substitutions are allowed (within reason). Food was great. Made reservations to go back already.
Sadly disappointed. Was looking for authentic italian in Manhattan and this didn’t cut it. While we didn’t have a bad experience, the food was mediocre for the $25/ entree value, and our service at the end slacked. From the time our plates were cleared to the time we finally just got the check was 30 mins and was not busy! Our server was too busy making a table side meal for another table even though all three of us were clearly looking around for service.
This restaurant was very nice...the service was great and the food was amazing...definitely gonna go back next time we visit NYC.
LOVE LOVE LOVE it there! Went two times in one week. The table side pasta bowl is SUPER fun to watch and makes for great conversation! The food is amazing, the chicken dishes are HUGE and absolutely big enough to share. Each time our servers have been great. We recommend and will certainly return.
Good food, some unusual entrees, and good service makes me want to go back soon!
Not bad for a tourist filled pasta place so close to Times Square
With the thousands of restaurants in NYC, we always seem to come back to Pasta Lovers. this past weekend it was twice in 3 days! LOVE IT!!
