Dinner at Pasta Freska Italian Restaurant is based on Chef Mike Horri's "Have it your way" philosophy! We truly are a unique and fun Seattle restaurant - Chef Mike comes to your table, asks questions, has a little fun and makes sure he delivers a great dining experience. Truly unique Italian comfort food. You won't go away hungry. Do you maybe just want to have one entree and with a salad, you can do that too.

Typically the way our dinner works is start with a salad and appetizer then we are ready to start the dinner, so you should expect to the dinner to last about an hour and a half. You should expect one dish of differents kinds of Pasta, Seafood and chicken.

We do accommodate larger parties as well.

Fun place. Food so so. Requested no shellfish and our “chicken “ course tasted good but also distinctly like shrimp to me and my guest.... mentioned this to server who said that was not possible. He offered to bring something else which I declined.

Charmed by the owner and chef every time I visit! The food and atmosphere is exceptional. We make special trips into Seattle just to eat at Pasta Freska. Would recommend to EVERYONE.

What a terrible experience. My husband and I arrived at 6:45 for dinner and left at 9pm - not by choice, but because the food, which was spread out over 6 tapas/servings, took over 2 hours to be served. When asked when the next food will arrive, the staff seemed to have no idea and only offered vague time estimates that turned out to be inaccurate. The tapas, themselves, were very mediocre and small. Although tasty, they were not worth the time or the money spent ($28 per person). I was still hungry leaving the restaurant.

The worst part about our meal was the service. I watched as the owners and the servers went around to all the other tables refilling waters, getting bread for other patrons, and clearing plates. Maybe it was because of where we were sitting, but my husband and I did not get any attention unless the food was FINALLY being served. Even then, I had to ask for my water to be refilled or plates to be cleared. We tried asking the owner what we were eating, and he would brush us off and only say one-worded answers. I do not understand why the service was so bad, given that the owner and the servers were just standing around waiting for the food to be cooked (which, again, why did it take so long?).

If you choose to come, make sure you have already eaten otherwise you will be very grumpy.

We love this place! No menu, no problem. The foods always good and the wines well paired.

Enjoyed coming here. It's a surprise meal, so you don't actually order: food just shows up! While not the best Italian ever, it was quality dining with a cozy, intimate atmosphere. A unique experience and worth a look.

Absolutely fantastic! Didn’t realize there really was no menu. But everything that was brought to our table was extraordinary. Miranda has the voice of an angel and a superstar!

Pasta Fresca is a one of a kind place. You don't order off menu, you are served what the kitchen is making that night. We have always been delighted with the food and the atmosphere is as unique as the food. The chef is a gregarious host who treats everyone as an old friend. The singer who graces your table with italian opera to "Over the Rainbow" is delightful.
So if you like a little adventure in your dining experience, try Pasta Freska!

We had a reservation for 6:45 and showed up a few minutes early. The place was packed. Over the next 15 minutes, several other parties showed up, also with reservations, also with no place to sit. We finally left at 7:00 to go find somewhere else to eat. The owner offered wine to those waiting but it was clear that something went wrong with allowing so many reservations during a time when they clearly had no tables. I've eaten here before and so my food/service ratings are based on that experience. It is good (and I have a groupon to burn) so I will be back.

A unique way to have dinner. We did not order, the waiter simply asked us what we did not like and slowly began to bring food out for us to eat. It was a good amount off food and it was delicious.

We never got to try the food. Showed up at 7 pm for a 7:30 reservation. There were lots of people waiting and no hostess or check-in process. Chef would approach and seemed to randomly pick people to seat with no regard to reservations or order of arrival. After being ignored for 45 mins and passed over 4 times for people who arrived after us, we gave up and walked out.

Outstanding food and service. Great for a relaxing dinner but not a place if you are in a hurry as the ability to eat, talk and take your time eating is part of the European Experience you get eating here

Very friendly and personal service. The "surprise dinner" was really a surprise to us and we enjoyed it. All of the food was delicious and I thought it was a good value for the price.

If you are OK with surprises, this might be the place for you. Pasta Fresca serves a no menu dinner where the chef decides what you will eat (with consideration for allergies or strong dislikes). Food was good, but not outstanding, service was excellent, and a 5 course meal was only $30 pp.

Warm atmosphere and a true NW jem of a Resturaunt. Would recommend to anyone that loves authentic Italian. Trust the owner, he does a great job serving dishes that are specific to your liking.

Food was good and staff was nice however we shared a few foods we dislike when we arrived yet they served them to us anyway. Also while they had an abundance of wine, they would not allow me to choose what I wanted.
