Pasta Cucina - Sunset Station
ricotta, parmesan, mozzarella
spaghetti, marinara, mozzarella, parmigiano reggiano
pan seared, baby spinach, stone ground polenta, lemon caper sauce
This was a good meal preceding an event and some gambling. I would recommend them for a good quality Italian meal at a fair price.
I have eaten at this restaurant several times in the past and the food was very good. Then about three months ago our meal wasn't. Now, the last two meals we had there weren't satisfying. This time there was no where to check in with a reservation, they were seating walking from a single line for everyone. My wife and I ordered Spegetti and meat balls. The spaghetti was under cooked and the meat balls were mushy, not firm and not enough sauce. We ordered fried clamari and some were under done, wet and chewy. Other than the reservation wait, the service was outstanding. Their floor group was very attentive and efficient. A football game was been shown in the center bar so, the noise was hard to take, but understandable. That is our fault for picking a playoff night. One of our guest had the Lasagna. He got some extra sauce for the top and enjoyed his meal. Our other guest had Fusili and Pesto and ate most of it she didn't comment on her meal. I treat restaurants like an at bat in baseball, 3 strikes your out.
We lucked out it wasn’t that busy we got excellent service and the food was great and the pricing was reasonable.
Great meal with wonderful service ! I would highly recommend
Restaurant was very understaffed, I presume because of covid most places are understaffed they tried hard but they couldn't keep up I felt sorry for the waitresses. Food was at about the same level as -Olive Gardena me and my wife had lasagna it was okay and it was all a cart so both me and my wife were actually hungry about an hour and a half later all in all it was a good experience staff was very nice and very busy
Pizza was amazing. Veal parm. And baked penne was so delicious. Service was great. would recommend this place for amazing food and drinks
Our waitress, Dee, was pleasant and attentive. A wonderful dining experience.
It’s always a pleasure to dine here. It’s close to home and great food and atmosphere.
I made reservations for 7:15. Arrived at 7:04. The girl at the counter sat the people ahead of in line that didn't have a reservation in the dining area. She came back, confirmed our reservations and then proceeded to attempt to set us in the bar area. I told her this was unacceptable since there were open tables in the dining area. She said irritated "you will gave to wait until you reservation time." We came back 10 minutes later and she sat us at one of tables that was empty when we were there the first time. Maybe it was her way of getting back at us for making her move to where we should have been In the first place. Service was "okay". I ordered a glass of wine to come with my dinner and the food came and I slowly ate hoping my wine would come but I was over half way done with my dinner before she brought it. Food was decent but nothing outstanding except for the tomato basil soup (A+). All in all just an average experience.
The food tasted good but my spaghettis was way under cooked. I don't like it el dente myself. And my wife said the lasagna was not very hot. The plate was but not the lasagna. Next time I'll ask for them to cook the pasta a couple of minutes extra for me.
We have eaten here several times and have always had a good meal. The lasagna with extra meat sauce is my favorite, and my friend enjoys the eggplant parmesan. The balsamic chicken pizza is also very good.
Great service and excellent eggplant Parmigiano and my husband had ravioli.
Will go again
We ordered the Italian meat pizza and the chicken Alfredo. Everything was great down to the wine and the bread they give you in the beginning. Definitely going back!!
I had penne baked pasta, came out very, very dry and cold. My friend had eggplant parmigiana with angel hair pasta, she asked for no spice and it was so hot with spice she couldn’t even eat it.
As locals, we frequent Pasta Cucina often! The service is exceptional, the waitress, forgive me, I cannot remember her name, always remembers us and even the wine we order. The food is great and we never wait, especially when we go through Open Table.
New Years eve is always busy but our meal came out hot and quickly. Sea bass was excellent but seafood diavolo was average this time while it had been really good in the past.
Great service as always. Food is top notch, and no wait time when you have a reservation. Everyone is friendly and willing to help.
They were very understaffed. Waited over 15 minutes for our reservation to be honored. Then waited another a 13 minutes after being seated for our order to be taken. Then waited an additional 45 minutes for food with no explanation from the wait staff why our food was not forthcoming. The situation became so bad that we left without getting or dinner. Needless to say we were vert unhappy with the whole situation.
Kitchen messed up one order. Staff compensated. Server was excellent.
Had a reservation and still waited 20 minutes. Service was slow. When our food arrived it was barely warm.
My family went to celebrate Christmas and had an amazing experience. Our server was super attentive and kind. The food was amazing as always!!
Eric was an excellent waiter! Food was cooked to perfection! My hat is off to the hardworking chefs and kitchen staff on Christmas Day!
Our server was definitely training so the service wasn’t fantastic but it’s also Christmas Eve so we’re just happy they came to work. Food was absolutely outstanding and the portions are huge. Great spot. The lobster and shrimp ravioli has a great spicy kick to it.
Very good food and service was excellent. Salmon was awesome
Good service 👍 the ambiance and open space feels good. The food was nice large portions and was delicious.
The friendliness, delicious food and great Service is very much appreciated! Sara is a great Service Provider, remembers our order and is prompt and adds her own touches!
If you don't have the energy to open canned sauce or boxed pasta don't worry Pasta Cucina has that covered. The food was horrible. The pesto was sent back, and being polite we just took the linguini and clams home but threw it out in the trash can on the way out the door. If I wanted bottled greyish pesto I would just buy it at Costco and boil my own noodles. The coffee was Sysco coffee and watered down to boot. If you ignore the worst form of Sysco foods and Stations has to offer, the atmosphere is wonderful and great people watching. The wait staff was great and attentive. To sum it up, I would go back there again and I would just order a sorbet and maybe a diner salad just so I could hang out with my family and friends.
My husband ordered the Seafood Fra Diovola - came cold, returned it, came back just warm.
We have been here many times. The food was great and the server Sara
was outstanding. The only disappointment, which I don't lay on the restaurant,
was "they had no Chianti wine; said it was a distributors failure to deliver". Most
likely offshore on a container ship!
We had a pleasant dinner, We were greeted quickly by friendly staff, seated and drinks and bread served hot n fresh, ice tea cool n refreshing. Our Food dish was served hot , fresh and cooked to perfection. I would recommend Pasta Cucina for a family dinner outing or dinner for two.
This restaurant never fails to make your dinner a great experience.
Great comfortable restaurant.
We love this restaurant. We eat there once or twice a week.
This restaurant has great ambiance, food choices, and tasty food, which is moderately priced.
Very good food and the service was great! We got there and little earlier than the rest of our party, but they sat up and started our service. We had a 3 year old granddaughter and they made her feel like a princess. She loved the experience
Friends from out of town and loved food but waitress was along time picking up our check to pay but otherwise she was good but not as good as Andrea I usually ask for but she was off last evening.
From when we first got there we were treated great. Service wonderful, food amazing. Our server was helpful and very friendly
Excellent food with very good prices. Service person was so friendly too.
I must say I have been a Station Casino Member for many years. This was our first time here. We walked passed it many times and always thought it was a beautiful looking restaurant. My Family and I were very happy with the meal and really happy with our server. She was busy and took time to speak with my autistic son about food choice and wine choice for him. She was very patient. She even took time to take a few pictures of our party. We will be back. Our new favorite restaurant.
Half the food was tepid. After initial seating...service dropped off significantly..long wait between apps/entree (prob reason why food was not hot) then even longer for any query on dessert and 20min for check.
