Always dependable for a delicious meal. We enjoy taking guests there and introducing them to the restaurant
Has a very cozy, friendly feel, unlike so many restaurants in AZ. Portions were large enough to bring home lunch for the next day, and everything we ate was delicious. So happy our other plans got cancelled and we tried this place on a whim - we can't wait to return.
It was all true- great place to eat! Like the atmosphere
Booths are so tight most people could not sit comfortably, Caesar salad was lettuce and croutons, asked to have entree a few minutes after finishing our salads but they arrived while taking salads away. Did not ask about dessert.
Was not crowded and no one was waiting.
First time this year but have gone regularly, not any more.
If I had all the time in the world and a billion characters, I wouldn't be able to express how comfortable and satisfying this restaurant is. Hands down the best Italian restaurant I've been to outside of actual Italy (over 2 dozen business trips to Italy dining at rather nice places and some out of the way gems...)
Pasta Brioni always exceeds my expectations!!
Pasta Brioni is very consistent and a terrific neighborhood place one can count on.
Everything is good, nothing incredible. would recommend and would return.
I was visiting Scottsdale and didn’t realize everything would be booked in %95 percent of restaurants the day after Thanksgiving! This restaurant was suggested and I took the chance to reserve a table for six people! The food was absolutely incredible and was such an amazing decision! My family and I had a great time while receiving great service! I would recommend it and will definitely come back on my next visit!
This was my first time here and the food was pretty delicious, got their Thanksgiving entree and enjoyed every bite. Good wine, great ambiance and I'll probably come back next time I want to spend $30 a plate. I think the service could've been better, they weren't busy but waiter was inattentive.
Great food. Quick service. Delicious drinks.
Always a good time and food
That’s why we come back time after time!
Birthday and best friends get together !
While the quantity and quality of food was fine, the service was amateur hour.
We were halfway through appetizers when our mains were brought to the table!
In 50 years of eating out I’ve never had this happen before.
Needless to say I’m not going back!
It’s “our place” best food in town and the absolute best service. Great menu choices, something for everyone.
Can’t say on my 45 years in Phoenix that there is a better place for dates and family.
Whenever we are in Scottsdale we always have at least one meal at Pasta Brioni. All of their entrees are delicious. It is always a challenge to decide what to have. This time we started with the calamari, then veal marsala and chicken with Emma’s dumplings in a cream tomato Gorgonzola sauce. No room for dessert after that!
We arrived at 6:30 pm on a Saturday night and the place was not yet full but getting there. It looked like they were short staffed and the server Kristen who sat us and took care of us was a cashier from their deli next door. She was amazing. She was very relaxed, knew all about the dishes and generally showed interest in us and a desire to serve us well. We had the chicken martini which was as great as the last time and the chicken Sorrentino. The barrel aged Manhattan at 775 days of age was great as well. We look forward to returning.
very disappointed in our experience here, food was cold, had to wait until we were almost finished with the meal to get hot pasta, asked for bread water & ide tea refills, sweetener, and coffee refills, had to wait for the check, service was off as well.
I would have given Pasta Brioni (one of my very favorite Scottsdale restaurants) a five-star rating in every aspect - as the food was, and always has been, outstanding. BUT - without warning, they are no longer offering seating in the lovely dining area during lunchtime. One is forced to sit in the area adjacent to the outdoor seating and close to the bar. The ambiance of the area is definitely not as nice for a business or "special person" lunch, and very disappointing. The old staff seems to have been replaced with staff not quite as polished, but the service was adequate - and we had no major complaints - if you don't count the soot that was on a section of the plate on which my roll was served. We had to ask for rolls that weren't smothered in garlic - and were never asked if we would like additional rolls.
Yes, I would definitely recommend the restaurant because the menu and food quality is outstanding. But the atmosphere is more like a diner than the lovely restaurant it used to be for a fine luncheon experience.
Pasta Brioni is a very good neighborhood restaurant.
Very enjoyable happy hour/decent pour.
Really nice people
Being from NY , I would give this place an overall 3.5 as the food was just ok , I would go again but not after I explored options and have tried a few other places being in new to the area , we came from Peoria to eat here and
no Italian bread it kinda strange ,
Our server was amazing!!! Geoff took good care of us all evening. The food was delicious, you can tell it is homemade. The lady who greeted us at the front was nice, but the guy helping her was not. He seemed like he was talking down to her when she asked for help.
The restaurant was pretty quiet which surprised me since it was a Saturday night but overall we had a good experience.
Great little spot to eat good food with good people. True Italian.
Good food - slow service to start - left stuff on the table after appetizers we did not need - could return when in that area.
Delicious pasta, real deal Italian food. We'll be back!
Love this place! The food is amazing. Service can be so-so but the food is worth it :)
Always solid. Good service and good food. Also can’t beat the happy hour food specials if you sit at the bar. We brought our toddler with us and had a nice meal on the patio.
Met a friend after work. This is a special place where I went with my husband who died in April. Still feels like the friendly neighborhood spot with great food and service. So happy to share this spot with friends so I can continue to visit.
One of our favorite eating places in Scottsdale Always enjoy the food and great service
Our meals were very good. We each had a parmesan (chicken, eggplant and veal). Large portions with pasta and a tasty marinara.
Excellent meals for all 4 in party. Waiter was attentive and helpful in suggestions. If ever in area will go back again and recommend to others.
It was my wife’s birthday. We had a gift card that we received for our 50th wedding anniversary. It a nice atmosphere, good service, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend it.
Excellent homemade food, great service, pleasant atmosphere. The homemade pumpkin ravioli is on of a kind & delicious! Attentive service. We enjoyed the experience. Thank you!
What can I say but the food was great! The service was just as good. The atmosphere is low key so go their relax and enjoy the terrific home made taste and traditional quality of great Italian food!
pasta brine is a very good neighborhood place. two of us had the salad with salmon
and the other a Chicken dish. all pretty good.
would return occasionally and would recommend under the right circumstances.
Great neighborhood restaurant with great service. Mighty Mike waited on us and he was great and so was the guy helping him keep drinks refilled. Restaurant has great food. Give the place a try.
I erred and made the reservation for Fri instead of the busiest Saturday they have had in some time...and they still went out of their way to accommodate us. This owner operated restaurant is outstanding...such nice and helpful employees and absolutely wonderful cuisine! We both had their signature Chicken Martini this time and it was its usual delicious self. Our salads were just the right touch--just the right size for a filling Italian dinner. We do love this place and will be back!
We were there on 9/23/19 and participated in Restaurant Week. Food was excellent and our waitress, Becky was terrific.
Amazing local long standing joint. Authentic menu with well balanced modern twists. Arguably the best Italian in Scottsdale.
As a Chicagoan who has enjoyed great food in neighborhood Italian restaurants of my hometown, it was very nice to find a place in Scottsdale that had the ambiance, service, and food quality of the places I've come to enjoy. We sat in the indoor booths nearest the bar because they had that old-school feel to them.
The bartenders and wait staff were wonderful; it was like we were old friends.
I started with the Zuppa di Mussels, which were outstanding, on both nights, and enjoyed the Linguine Pescatore on the first evening and the Osso Buco on the second. And it was great to end the evening with an espresso and canoli - and a grappa! Really enjoyed myself there and highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for some real Italian food while they're in Scottsdale.
