Passionfish is owned and operated by Chef Ted Walter and his wife Cindy Walter. I had a fabulous meal and the service was outstanding !! Can’t go wrong- several dish choices for the vegetarian and those who don’t love fish. Am looking forward to going back!

Went to Passionfish about 3 years ago and love it. Decided to try it again. WONDERFUL
Although primarily a seafood location, I tried the duck confit and it was cooked to perfection. My husband had the albacore and also said it was wonderful.

If you want to go on a weekend, book early as they fill up fast.

Dinner at Passionfish has become something of a tradition for us on trips to Monterey. The food and service are outstanding; the atmosphere friendly and unpretentious. I also like the fact that they make a point of serving sustainable seafood.

We ate here for our 23rd Anniversary and it was really great. Samantha was our server and she was absolutely delightful. Best personality! The food was spot on as usual. Spoonable Lamb had layers of flavor. Scallops were perfectly cooked and buttery. The dessert - lemon trio of goodness was more than I could've asked for.

We’ve been to Passionfish before & felt it was quite good. This time the service, starters and dessert were quite good, but everyones’ fish was very ordinary. Not much flavor and the presentation was bland as well. I will hesitate before going there again.

Service was superb and attentive. Charred asparagus almost burned. Cous cous was very over cooked, almost a paste. Fish on the other hand was excellent.
