Took a friend for lunch for his birthday. Excellent as always.
The food was outstanding and every dish arrived hot and esthetically pleasing.
The wait staff was excellent with great attention to detail.
The restaurant’s acoustics were fabulous, making it very easy to hear your dinner partners.
This restaurant is highly recommended by myself and my very fussy husband!
Our waiter, Dave, was one of the best waiter we’ve had in a long time. Superb, exceptional service, attentive and knowledgeable. His recommendations were spot on. An asset to the Paseo Grill. Oh, and the food was outstanding too 😀
allowed to sit and visit a bit with out staff acting like we needed to go when we finished eating.
Swordfish was excellent.
Another fantastic lunch at Paseo Grill, this is always a great place to have a nice meet-up with a close friend or a talk about business. We started with a bottle of the Teutonic Pig & Swords White Wine Blend from Willamet Valley which has now become another one of my favorites from this vineyard (some orange blossoms and nuts, and lemon zest and way too many others to discuss here you just must try it for yourself).
She had the 'fish special' of the day which was a seared salmon with a miso glaze served with orzo and a sauteed mushroom blend. I had the New Zealand Elk which was grilled to perfection, topped with a demi glaze, and served with pan sauteed brussel sprouts and also the mushroom blend (which I optioned for in lieu of roasted potatoes).
For desert we split their 'most excellent' Bread Pudding which is packed full raisins and served in their version of the traditional 'rum cream sauce' which they make with Gran Marner instead of rum, it's "to die for"
All together, totally delightful.
Paseo Grill has been my very favorite, #1 OKC restaurant in OKC for over a decade, so I was very excited to take a friend for a celebratory dinner on Saturday. We were seated at a table near the bar and the bartender also worked as our server. She was busy making drinks for the other patrons so our service was beyond slow. Our drinks were empty the entire night. One of the other servers even came and took our empty cocktail glasses and didn’t wait to take our additional drink order. The food was great, as always, but the service was so, soooo disappointing. Aside from that, we were seated next to the patio door and it was slamming open and shut all night, like 30+ times, and it was the least relaxing dinner I’ve had in a long time. I will probably go back, but it will be awhile ... after the disappointment wears off. Maybe it was just an off night.
Just about perfect as usual. We go at least annually for a birthday. This was our first time on a weekend, so it was a little louder and a little less private. Otherwise, the food, drinks, and service was outstanding.
First timers and we loved it. Food was excellent. My husband wear hearing aids and it was quiet so we could actually talk to each other.
Great experience! We went here on a last minute birthday dinner decision. The experience, food, service, and atmosphere made for a very enjoyable and relaxing. Our server was very detailed with information and was great with any recommendations. We will definitely be coming back and also will send others this way. Thank you for a great birthday dinner.
Great food and service, as always. Didn’t love the location of our table, but will be going back!
This is our go to restaurant when we visit OKC. The food is amazing and the drinks are the best we've tried. Paseo' ambiance is definitely ecclectic and the food is a true culinary delight.
Excellent food, Excellent service, no blaring music and screaming conversations. No Barn-like atmosphere. Quiet booths with curtains and attentive service.
Quality all the way. Thanks
Food great. Seated promptly. Quick service.
Go there whenever I can.
The staff were friendly and professional, the site was clean. It was a little warm but could have just been my date and I. The food was amazing I recommend their mushroom soup if you like mushrooms. It is incredible and I will be getting again next time I go.
Paseo is usually top notch with food, service, and ambiance. However our last experience was pretty not good. Multiple things asked for were not given like sauces or request to have strawberry's not be on our desserts. Also my steak was a little underdone to my taste which is no big deal, it happens and I'd rather have my steak come out undercooked and send it back then have it overcooked... The problem is that if you take someones steak back to cook a little longer sit there and the second it's done bring it out to the customer. The steak didn't come back out for almost 10 minutes. I honestly thought they would probably remake my sides because it was gone so long but no... came back to cold potatoes and fries.
The one thing that Paseo consistently has a problem with speed of service. The wait staff takes FOREVER. You ask for bread and you're lucky if you get it in 10 minutes, which was kind of understandable when they made their awesome bread but now they have switch to some boring store bought stuff. But it's also with things like bringing out your check. They clear the table and say I'll be right back... maybe 10 minutes later they come back with your check. I've had to flag someone from the staff down the last 3 times we've been just to get out of there.
Most of the time Paseo is great and overall it's a nice place... but they really need to speed the service up and take a little more time with their patrons.
Always LOVE our experience here. Wonderful food and we love that they always have new features.
David was a wonderful server and knew the menu and wine selection exquisitely. His suggestions were on point and lead us to great food and drinks on the menu without breaking the bank.
The charcuterie board had a wonderful selection of house-made items, ranging from trout to homemade berry balsamic, and the bone-in dry-aged pork chop was to die for. If you want to go somewhere to impress and have a fantastic experience, look no farther than the Paseo Grill.
Everything was perfect
Great food and service
If you are looking for excellent food, service, and atmosphere for a romantic dinner, this Is your place.
This was an outstanding 'late lunch' with a new friend. We started by splitting a shrimp cocktail, always a good choice at Paseo Grill because these four jumbo shrimp served with both their spicy Cocktail Sauce and Citrus Aioli are plenty for two people to share. My date, a first timer to the Paseo Arts District had the Chicken Pot Pie and she loved it, I mean how can you not, it's authentic cooked in its own miniature iron skillet with chunks of chicken and potatoes and everything you would expect and a few things you might be surprised about (like Curry) in a 'pot pie'. I had the Beef Stroganoff Sandwich which is served open face and it just happens to be one of my favorites especially when I substituted mushrooms for the fries (healthier too).
This was not our first evening dining at Paseo and it will not be our last. Rebecca, our server, was extremely knowledgeable of both the menu and wine list and made excellent recommendations. The entire staff was professional, accommodating, and friendly. We love the semi private booth we were seated at and enjoyed the fact we could have a quiet conversation with each other. The food was amazing as always. We started with the calamari, which was lightly fried to perfection. The Kung Pao sauce was a great compliment. I enjoyed the Miso Seabass and my fiancé had the Ribeye. Both were absolutely delicious. The Seabass melted in my mouth and the Ribeye was a perfect medium rare. Rebecca recommend several wines to accompany our meal and we decided on a Cabernet Franc. It was exactly what we were hoping for and enjoyed the pairing immensely. Dessert was Creme Brûlée and frangelico with coffee. The staff surprised us with complimentary champagne and sweet dessert as well, as it was our anniversary. Altogether, a perfect evening. Thank you! We will be seeing you again soon!!
Our anniversary dinner was amazing
We have always had a good experience at Paseo Grill but our last meal was exceptional. Yes it’s pricier than some dining establishments but the food is second to none. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for an outstanding dinner. The servers are bar staff are exceptional also.
Smallest pound of king crab legs I have ever seen. Also served like warm at best and was disappointingly mushy.
Filet mignon was grossly undercooked. When it came back from the kitchen, it was drowning in some type of sauce.
Not very happy!
Service, food, atmosphere is ALWAYS amazing!! And the server even remembered all the little food quirks that come with pregnancy and was a great look out!!
We had the chef’s special, a 28 day aged park chop that was simply the best porch chop we had ever eaten. The stuffed scallop appetizer was truly a tower of deliciousness. We should have ordered two. We loved the romantic semi private booths with kind of a sheer curtain separating the tables. The noise level was a little higher than expected, but I think that was only because there was a large group near us having a birthday celebration. Overall, the experience was excellent. The food the drinks and the setting were fantastic. The price was very good for the quality of the experience. We’ve paid much more at other OKC area restaurants that did not measure up to Paseo Grill. We will be back.
Food was excellent, service was excellent. Happy we went there for a nice by casual dinner with friends. Will be back soon.
My soup was cold and also the potatoes were room temperature Never add this experience before. Will always come back
Great food and service as usual ! Love the specials they have , unique plates.
My husband and I each ordered a salad. Seared Ahi Tuna and Duck salads. We both loved them. Our friends enjoyed the surf and turf for two. They said it was delishious and their steaks were cooked perfectly. They each got 2 sides. There was no sign of food on our plates at the end of the meal. We were very satisfied and didn't choose to order dessert. They brought us a small berry and whipped cream dessert anyway. Nice touch. It was delicious.
We had a very nice experience. The food was delicious as always. Good service and an intimate atmosphere.
Overall, we had a lovely dinner at the Paseo Grill. The food was quite good, and the service was excellent. Our server was friendly & professional. The location is in a lovely part of OKC. I would recommend the Paseo Grill for an enjoyable evening out.
Excellent experience except we had to ask for more to drink twice and the bread was brought out with a dish that had no butter In it. However, the best pork chop I have ever had.
