One of the servers was poorly trained. Repeatedly reach across the table and trield to hand a very hot plate to a customer. Obviously she did not accept the plate--if it was too hot for the waiter to handle with a napkin, how can you expect the diner to take it in her bare hands? This happened several times. Apparently the waiter did not want to walk around the table. Really not acceptable.

The waitress was great. I ordered a Calvados and was warming it with my hands, she noticed and was kind enough to bring me a warm snifter without me requesting it. It was a very nice touch.

Still after all these years Pascal remains as the guardian of French cuisine . The Hudson Valley foie Gras was delicious . The Duck was excellent as was my Dorado fish entree. The dessert tart was cest magnifiqué. The service was on point also !

The food was tre tre Bon! Beet salad exquisite. Tomato tatin fantastic. The chicken, delectable, the sole meunière was fabulous, and the dorade was lovely. Tarte Tatin, oh la la… Chocolate soufflé, sublime. The brandy a divine finish to a superb meal. Our waiter from the Dominic Republic was perfection.

Pascal’s personal attention and his excellent knowledge as a French chef makes this restaurant one of my preferred restaurants in Coral Gables. Had the Foie Gras and the sole meunière both outstanding! Finished with an excellent shuffle.

We went for the Miami Spice but you have e to ask for the menu or you do t get it. I don’t think the food they served is typical of Pascals - was not very good and short ribs dry. Would. It return. Disappointing that they don’t showcase what they can do so you return again for full menu

Sumptuous French cuisine and excellent service. This is a small place, so reservations are recommended, but they did have 1 or 2 tables available when my group of 3 dined there recently, so drop-ins might be possible. Do yourself a favor and bypass the chain restaurants in the area, try this wonderful gem of a restaurant.

Mediocre, overpriced, tiny portions - comical to the extreme. No attention from servers, no ambiance. A total disappointment. Please - redo the interior of the restaurant!!! Be more generous with the portions served. Restaurant was notified it was our 37 th wedding Anniversary, but ZERO acknowledgement from restaurant. We have eaten there many times. We love the restaurant, however, the prices have become so high we won't go as often now. Dinner for three with no wine or drinks was over $300, with only one first course, three entrees and two deserts, and two bottles of water.

Pascal's On Ponce is a lovely, traditional French restaurant in a fairly small room that is reminiscent of a small, upscale Parisian restaurant. We visited this time for the Miami Spice menu which is really good value compared to the prices on the regular menu. Unfortunately, the restaurant was rather crowded and it seemed to be understaffed as there were just 2 main waitservers that we could see. As a result, the service was not on an elegant level nor on a level one would expect at a restaurant of this caliber, although our wait person was certainly trying under the circumstances. The food, while good, was not overwhelmingly special, but the presentation was very nice and the taste was very good. Overall, the evening was nice though not special. Perhaps ordering from the main menu would have had a different outcome, but the prices for entrees are rather prohibitive. My main disappointment was the service.

The entrees were just not very good, escargot stuffed filet was overdone. It was also on the dry side too. Presentation was nice but couldn't overcome the lack of flavor other wise. Duck confit was just not good at all, tasted old and also overdone. This is a classic that you just have to get right if you want to call yourself a French restaurant.
