My wife and I had not been to Pascal's in quite some time, so I wanted to come back for my birthday / our anniversary and see if it was as good as I remembered. We started off with the beet/pear salad (menu item) and the lobster bisque (special that weekend) which were both excellent. For our main course, she ordered the beef tenderloin/filet mignon and I had the lamb. Her tenderloin was excellent and well paired with the potato and asparagus sides. My lamb was also quite good except it was slightly overcooked (had ordered medium rare and came medium to medium-well). For dessert, we just had the chocolate soufflé which was the perfect ending to our meal.
This place is such a gem! It’s so rare to receive stellar customer service, and this place knocks it out of the park. I will be back next month when I’m in town again. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!
A local jewel !!
Always a great ambiance for special occasion
Intimate setting. Impeccable service. Outstanding food. Highly recommend.
Not much you can do about the noise when it's packed, but that's the only downside. Always a reliable and top flight experience.
Great, authentic French food. Nice ambience and excellent service.
Poor service attention at arrival. Excellent foot. Kind of pricy
It was a Valentine's Day dinner and the restaurant was not well prepared for the number of customers. Reservation's time was not respected, service was slow and food not as good as usual.
We went for Valentine's Day and the price fix menu was delicious and a great value. Valentine's Day can be a nightmare, but our 6:00 seating was perfect and the better choice since the later it got the busier it got because it is such a special place to dine.
Food was fantastic! The chateaubriand melted in your mouth and it was cooked to perfection!
Service was sensational! The water glass always stayed full.
Cocktails were delicious! I recommend the margarita martini.
This is one of our favorite dining places when we go out to dinner. Kudos to Pascals and Chef Pascal.
If you want to taste authentic French food, this is the place to go!
Great quaint essential French restaurant. A favrite standard for the locals, very intimit and well worth the time. Fresh fish every evening and chef knows how to create something special. Duck confit is exceptional, but save room for great deserts and mandatory espresso.
Pascals on Ponce enjoys a high reputation in Miami, and the prices reflect this (entrees average $45). Accordingly, we expected a first-rate French meal. Instead, we endured one of the worst meals I have ever eaten in Miami, or anywhere for that matter, let alone in an establishment presenting itself as a high-end culinary institution. We had to send back the sword fish (that day's special), which came to us lukewarm and surprisingly flavorless (it was nothing other than a minimally seasoned piece of baked fish, as far as I could tell). The scallops also arrived on the cold side. We asked that they be redone, and the second time around, the dish was more successful. We also ordered the duck confit. The crust was unusually hard, the interior excessively fatty. Duck confit is a favorite of mine, and this is the only time in my life that I have left a portion largely uneaten.
On the plus side, there was a good selection of wines by the glass (although they were out of my first choice), and the chocolate soufflé was successful (and complimentary).
The same chef operates Brasserie Centrale in Merrick Park, which is much less expensive and also better. Maybe Pascal's needs a new kitchen staff. Or maybe they were having an off day. For now, I recommend avoiding the place.
I ALWAYS eat here at least once when visiting Miami. I have NEVER been disappointed. Great food, good service, convenient, and good value.
It is worthwhile driving to
One of the Best restaurants in Dade County
Pascal's is always wonderful for a quiet, delicious meal!
you aren't going to be surprised at Pascal's. the food is reliably excellent and nicely presented. the menu is very unchanging and that is either a virtue or a bit boring. what they offer they do very well. maybe it's time to be a bit more adventurous with the menu.
This is an absolutely superb restaurant. Fine dining as it should be. It's our favourite place in Miami. Try to get seated in Angelo's section - he's the best!
The occasion was date night with my wife and we truly enjoyed ourselves and had a great dining experience. The wine list is very good and there are a couple of moderately priced wines to match any menu item. Service was impeccable and friendly. The only minor drawback is the price point . . . it is expensive but worth it.
Excellent but expensive. I had the salmon and it was as good as it comes. My wife had lamb chops also excellent.
Food took way too long to arrive and once it did the meat was overdone. Would not have been so negative about the experience except that the manager brought the meat back to the table twice to convince me that it really was medium rare after battling with the chef. Amazing - at these prices. Restaurant is pretty and food tasty otherwise.
Excellent food and service
Pascal's continues it's tradition of excellent cuisine and service.
Wonderful food, wonderful service and great ambiance!! Thank you Pascal!
The food was wonderful, the environment elegant not pretentious. The waiter however, almost derailed the entire night. He was arrogant, condescending and hovering. Hovering that is until we wanted to order then we had to call him over.
We were very lucky that the Miami Spice menu was available that evening. The restaurant offered some additional items for an up charge. It was very self explanatory on the menu. As we started to order, the waiter stopped us and almost started shouting to the point that people at a nearby table turned to look to explain "it was his duty to point out that there was an additional fee."
He seemed disappointed when we all said "yes" we read that. After dessert he disappeared never to be seen again.
It was really a shame.
We were there to celebrate two birthdays, enjoy wonderful French food and have a good time. He almost changed all of that.
As most French restaurants, the price point was on the high side. However, the cuisine, ambiance and service were also on the plus side. We will certainly return and we recommend Pascals as an excellent choice for a fine dining experience.
Excellent food and service; great variety to the menu; looking forward to returning
Hemos ido en varias oportunidades a este Restaurante, siempre mantiene su calidad en la comida y calidos detalles en su decoracion
Delicious food, great ambiance. Definitely recommended.
The food was excellent and the staff very courteous.
Always a special evening at Pascal's. Definitely our favorite restaurant in South Florida.
I used to visit Pascal's On Ponce for special occasions since my wife and I considered it a real classic French restaurant in Miami. However, we got disappointed in our last visit.
The main reason was that I had the duck confit; which was not crispy as it used to be in the past.
In Miami you have too many options and if a classic restaurant would like to keep its special occasion feature, the best dishes always have to satisfy their clients.
All things good!
Delicious dinner. Twice baked cheese appetizer was a favorite of all 4 of us.
Miami Spice menu was worth the drive from Fort Lauderdale.
Everything was great, to expensive your wine
List. Toy to hace an óptions of wi es less of 50$
This restaurant is a local gem. Whether they are serving you a spice menu or their regular menu, the food and service are always impeccable. I wish other restaurants that are participating in spice would realize that how you treat a customer during spice month can determine how a customer treats your restaurant the rest of the year. Wonderful all the way around! love Pascal's on Ponce!
My daughter and I had a really nice evening at Pascal's on Ponce. Dinner was excellent.
We started with with the Twice Baked Gruyère and the Crab Cakes. Both delicious. For the main course we tried the
Scallops with Short Ribs
and the Beef tenderloin. Also both flavorful and nicely presented. We finished with the Apple Tart and a Fruit with Madeline dessert, de-li-cious!
Before the appetizers arrived, we received a little cup of something delicious to try (can't remember what my server called it lol), and also a little plate of small desserts was brought after our coffees.
Excellent service, fantastic food. Perfect dinner.
Go there is if you are looking for a good cuisine, French style. The only regret is that it has had a noise environment.
French menu from an authentic French chef who takes pride in whatever leaves his kitchen. The four of us argued as to which dish was the best, but the fish was fresh and the desserts pleasing to the eye and palate.
Enjoyed dining at Pacal's last weekend. Service and food were both superb. I highly recommended this restaurant.
