This neighborhood restaurant is vintage New Orleans, from the service to the decor. The oyster bar always manned by a friendly shucker. The oysters are fresh, salty and delicious.
The old time oyster bar and cocktail bar offers raw oysters on the half shell and all types of cocktails. We offer fine seafood, Italian specialties and delicious steaks.
Sauteed shrimp in a blend of seasonings served in a butter white wine sauce with Brabant potatoes. Served with salad or soup du jour.
With French Fried Potatoes. Recommended wine: Joel Gott Sauvignon Blanc
I was very pleased with my experience at Pascal's. The waiter was very courteous and attentive. Everyone was very pleasant. I loved the barbecue shrimp poor boy but all of the food was good, according to my guest. I was especially pleased with the precautions that were taken during this pandemic. This motivated my visit. I will certainly visit again.
Four people in the party thought that their dish ( Grilled fish Orleans) was dry and tasteless. The fish was Mahi Mahi. I had the Striped Bass, the daily special, it was delicious. Veal parmigiana was the other entree ordered and was very good as well.
Very nice restaurant, service was great and food was awesome
Great food. Great service. Have been eating here for over 30 years.
Mike made our visit terrific. His suggestions were delicious. We enjoyed the evening
Love the shrimp here
The bbq' hrimp were great. The $5 martinis were a bargain. We plan on going again.
It had been a long time since we enjoyed Pascal’s Manale. It was outstanding
Food was good. Service was terrible- very nice waitress, but forgot order, couldn't get her attention, waited way too long between checking in. Then, two drug addicts were seated next to us, literally! Woman was waving her arms around the entire time they were there. Couple didn't order anything but ate free bread. And it was sooooo loud! We could not speak to each other. Not a great experience!
Everything was delicious, we definitely recommend this place.
Server was outstanding. Two granddaughters’ MahiMahi was good/not the best they ever had but okay. The stuffed shrimp were not good, in my opinion. The crab stuffing was dark. I ate 1.5 of them. Sorry, I have had much better in Houston. We are older and my husband was so excited about the bbq shrimp. He’s been to your restaurant many times over the years. He said the shrimp is just not the same - used to be spicer with more flavor. We have been on a road trip for 10 days ending up in NOLA and so looking forward to dinner at your restaurant. $250 dinner disappointment.
The food and service was fantastic!! I had the bbq shrimp and they did not disappoint. I will definitely be back!!
We have ate at this place every time we have come to NOLA. This visit was worse than the last and the last was worse than the one before. The food is good. The atmosphere was more high end the past times we have come. Now they are letting people in in shorts, flip flops and the upscale restaurant has now become casual dining with the upscale price.
If you want to spend the money, fine but we are probably not going to go to this location much in the future. I can go to a chain restaurant for the atmosphere that this location has dwindled down to.
Pascal's Manale, get your groove back. Anynone can serve BBQ shrimp. The astmosphere made it what you so desirable. You are not so desirable anymore.
We have been going to Pascal's for over 50 years and always been great. However, this visit was just not up to par. Service was rushed, noise level in dinning room, very loud. Food was good as always.
Stopped in for a birthday celebration. Gumbo was delicious even though there wasn’t much seafood in it.
We had the barbecue shrimp, stuffed shrimp and veal parmigiana. All three dishes were delicious.
Really nice surprise. Had not eaten there in many years; sorry now that I had not. Their classics really are delicious. Expect that we will be eating here regularly.
Omg, never have I ever had barbecue shrimp that was this amazing. We come to NOLA every year for our anniversary and this is going to be our first stop from now on! So delicious!
Coolinary lunch with my Mother who has been cooped up in her senior living complex for over a year. So glad to finally getting out!
New Orleans tradition at its best! We enjoyed lunch at Pascal’s. The BBQ shrimp with grits was outstanding,. It was perfectly seasoned without being too spicy. Service was quick and attentive. Great choice for lunch!
Take the time to find this place..the BBQ shrimp was fabulous. You want to drink the sauce by itself...but the French Bread dipped in it can't be beat.
Very tasty remoulade sauce. Crab cakes perfect and the augratin potatoes were excellent..a good side to share. Waiter was friendly and fun..
Great service, but everything else was just ok.
Not sure it's worth it.
Dinner with friends
One couple had not been in 35 yrs .. had a fabulous meal and time!!
Not great experience ! Service was not available ever when needed. Loud loud loud
Highly recommend the BBQ Shrimp. Ate there 25 years a ago. It was as good now (maybe even better) than the first time. We got there early and had a great time hanging out in the bar. The bartenders were a lot of fun.
Fine New Orleans old-school Italian/Creole food, very good service, and aesthetic decor. Wonderful bar. Highly recommended.
We recently moved to New Orleans and our son in law recommended Pascale Manale’s to us. We loved it! Reminded us of restaurants in New York. Great food and atmosphere.
One of our top 5 restaurants in NOLA! Crabcakes, new to the menu were AMAZING. A littel pricy at $16 each, but one of the BEST ever! Noise level was incredible ... very hard to hear within our own table talk.
Great food and service
Great food, great drinks, great service. Would Click for some behind the scenes cover shoot Pascal manali's to anyone. Had not been in a while but will come back again soon.
delicious food and excellent service. Friendly people
The food at this old established restaurant in Uptown New Orleans is delicious. The BBQ Shrimp is an iconic dish for Pascal’s and the price is good, too. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable and the atmosphere, while a little noisy was still very enjoyable. I highly recommended a meal here when your in town.
Thomas the Oyster Shucker is a National Treasure!
Went on a recommendation from a friend; only had the raw oysters was nice & quiet and we had a fantastic waiter, as well!
Off street parking is a plus. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent.
Celebrating our 37th anniversary. Wonderful lunch, both dishes exceeded our expectations. Can’t wait to return.
Came Highly recommended. Food was good but the service was lacking. Waitress forgot bread, water and wine glasses were constantly lacking. The table next to us received very good service, pretty sure they were a good friend of the host as he made a special trip to say hello and make sure they received good service. Seriously disappointed. Wanted to love this place.
This was my first time back after they've had a change of ownership. It seemed exactly the same. Food was excellent, service fantastic, same chill old school vibe. One thing I noticed which I really appreciated was that there seemed a lot more female employees than in the past. Both our server and busser were female presenting and gave top notch service!
Cocktails were very tasty and really liked some of their new innovative additions. Their Manhattans are still some of the best in the city.
We were a 4 top 2 of our table had the coolinary menu and other 2 ordered ALA carte. All courses came perfectly timed and tasted great.
It was very loud.
Love, Love, Love this place…!!!
Reminds me of my childhood when dining out was a really big thing way back when…
The menu offerings are modern while still maintaining classic qualities & the Family Operation is what makes Pascal’s Manale the ultra high quality establishment I choose to enjoy…
I’ll be back from Baton Rouge as often as possible… Mac😎👍
Tasty dinner and good service before our night at Tulane summer lyrics.
