Delicious food and ambiance. We were there for brunch. Only negative a bit cramped
It's a tiny little restaurant but so quaint and cute.
The food was really good and the atmosphere charming.
Restaurant is tiny but charming (expands to outdoor space in Spring/Summer) Tables are squeezed together (more challenging with bulky winter clothing). Servers are lovely and accommodating. Sadly, espresso machine was not working so we missed our cappuccino. Light brunch options were very good.
Always superb! My favorite neighborhood bistro for excellent food, warm ambience & attentive service. You really do feel like u’re at a left bank Parisian cafe along a side street just off the Boulevard St. Germaine.
Very pleasant dining experience.
Read the reviews and picked it for lunch before the museum.
Loved our waiter and the food that we ordered was delicious.
Would definitely return when in the neighborhood.
A real find!
The early bird dinner is a financial wonder and the choices on it are great & delicious!
Usually very good but missed on all food points tonight. Had to return appetizers and the main meal did not seem fresh. Will definitely try again.
charming restaurant, very good food at reasonable prices and reasonable noise level
Lunch with fiends topped our visit to nyc. Food service an ambiance are exceptional
Wonderful service and great food. I’m will be back for sure
Valentine Day and it was not crowded.
We've enjoyed Pascalou twice now, and have not been disappointed either time. They prepare escargot in such a way that is a bit lighter and ample for a "share". The service is warm and accommodating, noise level does not interfere with conversation and we thoroughly intend on returning. A great spot for the UES.
Excellent as always. Good to be able to specify a particular table, and it's always been granted. Prix fixe always good, and proper french bread and decent butter. On a snowy night when we had the upstairs to ourselves they gave me both desserts du jour, which was a lovely gesture and saved me choosing. great place, lovely people running it.
We were 6 women and everyone enjoy their choices and their meal! Brunch special had great choices and fair pricing, too! Being near the door on a cold day was a little drafty.
Wonderful staff. Amazing food. 5 stars, I highly recommend
Really delicious, great hospitality
Wonderful all around. The chef made a personal appearance and took questions.
Another fantastic meal! Y’all cook the fish perfectly every single time. Thank you!
We ate dinner on a Monday night . We were seated upstairs so it was quiet up there. The restaurant is very small and the tables are quite close together.
The food was very good with good sized portions. The waitress was nice but I think the service downstairs is a little better since the wait staff does not have to climb those stairs up and down. I still recommend it.
I love Pascalou. I make a point to come every visit to the city. The food is always great and it’s a delightful experience every single time. Thanks again!!
DELICIOUS cheese soufflés!
Consistent and good quality food!
Great as usual. Charming and yummy.
Terrific service and wonderful value, especially given the neighborhood.
Authentic small French bistro. Reminded me of Paris. Crabcakes, Fois Gras, Osso Bucco, yummy good and reasonable prices. A real find!
It’s a very French place, service is really good. Seared foie gras, ir excellent, without broken your wallet. Salads are good. We like this place.
always reliable good food, good service and a restaurant where dining at leisure is a pleasure
Cozy little French restaurant perfect for dinner after a visit to the Guggenheim. Well prepared skate and delicious other dishes. Friendly staff as well, even though I mistakenly broke a side plate!
Friend and I had lunch last week at Pescalou. Her first time there,
my second. Feeling of stepping into a neighborhood bistro in Paris, Left Bank. Food excellent; menu has large number of choices for lunch. Everything tasted fresh, was plentiful and looked appetizing. And not pricey! Waitress very accommodating, lovely person. We’ll be back!
It’s a tiny place, but is very cozy, we had an excellent waiter. Foie gras was really good. And carrot soup, and salad very good too.
It’s very French.
The food and service were quite good. I was disappointed that the dish I wanted (short ribs) which is a standard menu item there was not available that night. I ordered a lamb Tagine instead. It was good, but I would have liked it to have more pieces of lamb in it. The appetizers were delicious, and they were very accommodating. I will rant.certainly return to this restaurant
Authentic Parisian bistro in NY ! I am French-American and have been living in Paris for over forty years and I felt ‘chez moi’, at home. Lunch prix-five is a great deal with a wonderful selection. Dishes are well served and everything was delicious. Cozy atmosphere which some might find cramped but I enjoyed. Service was very friendly. Worth the visit !
We had a very nice birthday celebration for my daughter. Everything was very good. Loved the Chocolate soufflé!
Took my wife for her birthday, and they were so accomodating and nice. We love Pascalou
Excellent bistro feel—cozy and welcoming! Amazing variety of food offerings, including salads, provincial appetizers and entrees, a
Few pastas and numerous delicious desserts! How they do it Year after year is beyond me!
Tiny place. Brace yourself for the chilly air whenever the front door opens. But the hostess’s smile - or rather the lack of it - is even chillier. When we made our reservation we asked for a specific table, followed up our request with a phone call, but our request was disregarded. The food was good, but not sure it offset the dimension of the place and the coldness of the hostess.
Food was delicious
Delightful lunch. Nice variety for all types of palates. Good quantities.
We had a very delicious brunch on New Year Day. Not too crowded. Excellent options for appetizers, the main course, with great drinks and desserts.
A cosy French bistro convenient to Museum Mile. Great for lunch. Large choice of reasonably-priced dishes and specials. Friendly and attentive service.
