This is one of our favorite Restuarants in Asbury. The food and service are alway terrific! We have enjoyed many meals here!

We arrived at 4:30pm on a Sunday with the restaurant empty in the dining area and a really happening bar scene. Although the restaurant dining area was empty, except for one table, we were not allowed to sit in a table larger than 2 seats. The hostess was very rude about it - the restaurant was completely empty. We only asked because the restaurant was empty and it was so early! Anyway, customer service was lacking -on to the food. The French onion soup was great as was the bread and butter. The monk fish dish was odd - imagine bacon and fish together. The burger was good as were the fries that came with it. The pot de creme was chocolate on top and salted Carmel on bottom (not what we expected). It was ok - too sweet for us but maybe others would like it. The coffee was bitter. All and all, we would not return, especially given the seating problems and attitude of the hostess.

We were looking forward to visiting this French Bistro for the first time.we ordered the escargot, steak tartare, foie gras and monkfish entree. The escargot were plump and juicy but a little too much salt and garlic. The steak tartare was like eating a raw onion. God quality meat and nice egg yolk but couldn’t taste the meat with the overkill of raw onion. The foie gras was cooked very well but again over seasoned with de salt and I found it strange that the warm foie was accompanied by a cold apple compote. The monkfish in pork cream sauce with mushrooms was the best dish of the night. We would consider going back.

Wait time was 40 minutes past reservation, then the computers went down while trying to receive check so we sat there for 20 minutes waiting

As a party of two with a reservation arriving well before the dinner crowd, we were still given one of the worst possible tables in the restaurant. Service was very good, with the exception of being the only party not served a basket of bread. Food was very tasty - but overpriced for the area.

I have been here many times and enjoy the food here each time. While not as French as I would want it to be, it is excellent notwithstanding. A great wine list and excelelent service each time we have dined at the restaurant.
