EscarGO get some! NY and burgers were cooked to perfection, and tasted great!
Great atmosphere, great food . Real cool place .
Service and the people are terrific !
Love Sunday brunch at Pascal and Sabin. The food is amazing and the staff is wonderful.
Drinks and snacks at the bar
Cocktails divine as always !
Loved the cocktails, the selection of wine, the food. Didn’t love the seats in the booths, they were too low, felt like I was a child at the grownups table, and I am 5’ 6”. The service was outstanding, just would change the booth seats.
Lovely evening celebrating my birthday. Food was delicious and very attentive service
We always enjoy our time at Pascal & Sabine. The ambiance, service, and food are consistently excellent!
Definitely recommend this restaurant...food was outstanding...service was top notch...atmosphere was city like....portions on the small side tho.....but would totally recommend....went for our anniversary and they made it very special for us :)
Great food and service. Expensive but worth it! Too many other restaurants just miss the mark, Pascal and Sabine never fail to please.
We usually love Pascal but we were very disappointed tonight with the entree’s. They must have a new chef. The Dover Sole, $65, was not seasoned well, undercooked and too salty. The Chicken was too salty and not seasoned well, and the Soft Shell Crabs special were too salty and greasy. The mussels white wine dunking broth was not rendered enough and needed more seasoning. I’ve had all these dishes at Pascal before, and they tasted completely different tonight, and not in a good way. Worst of all, the Pascal Manhattan cocktails, which are usually my favorite, had too much Vermouth. Where have you gone Pascal and Sabine? I will change to “recommend” if the food improves next time. For now, would not recommend.
Bright spots were the charcuterie and NY Strip Steak.
Service was very professional, food salty on everything I like salt but this was over the top
Creative and delicious cocktails at the bar! And the service at our booth for dinner was thoughtful, insightful, and professional. Of course everything was delicious too!
Service was friendly, attentive and professional. The food was well prepared and presented and of high quality. I found the wine list to have an amazing array of European wines at very approachable prices. We had the porterhouse steak frites for two, and again it was well prepared and a great piece of prime beef. We both thought that entree might be a little overpriced for the weight of the steak but it was by no means a problem nor did it affect the high regard we have for this restaurant on our first visit. I have already recommended it to several friends and coworkers and look forward to returning myself.
Last night we ate at this restaurant for the first time, celebrating our 34th anniversary. We thought about going many times, so glad we finally did. Excellent dining experience! The food, service and ambiance were all top notch. We will return!
Brunch was excellent - was lucky to score a booth for the 4 of us. Drink specials are unique, French Toast to die for & canned tuna belly from Spain excellent. We all loved our meals, enjoyed the live music & appreciated the complimentary valet on a rainy day!
Delicious food and great atmosphere.
Food - taste & quality, and overall dining experience here is exceptional! I wish I could afford to come more often.
Had dinner with friends before the NJ Gay Mens Chorus concert. Had a great seat in the back of the restaurant, great for conversation because it wasn’t difficult to hear against other diners’ conversations. I had the onion soup and steak tartar. Both recommended by waitress and we fantastic. Look forward to my return visit.
P & S is the only French restaurant I've ever eaten at that doesn't have either Pernod or Ricard pastis.
Appetizers were ok.
My wife's steak was good ,but my trout almondine was terrible.
Service was slow, so we skipped dessert.
A very forgettable dinner.
I've always wanted to really like P&S - but over the past year - it's really declined. The food is always delicious - but the kitchen wait time is ridiculous. Every time I've been over the last year we've had to wait an unbelievable amount of time for our meal.
This past Saturday nite - I went for dinner alone. I was sat in the back (having a reservation for over a week) at a lounge type table in the middle of a large group party/celebration. I felt awkward and really silly.
Then I simply ordered the burger (which is always really good) and I had to wait over an hour for my food. I did watch tables around me that sat after me - one by one - get their meals while I had to wait for mine.
The waitress was very sweet and kept apologizing - and did comp one glass of wine - I guess that's something. But by the time my food finally came - I was truly over it.
It will be a very long time before I go back to P&S. For a special occasion or evening out - I much prefer Avenue in Long Branch over this place.
Once again,P&S does not disappoint..though we had hoped to be able to sit at champagne bar but could not due to crowd there before we arrived, we were seated in the dining room section adjacent to that In same room as main bar—fantastic service, food and evening! Cannot wait
To get back again soon!
My reservation as made weeks in advance on OPenTable. When we walked in they seated us (4 adults) at a bistro size bar table. Our knees were literally touching. We got up and went back to the hostess station to request a regular table. They proceeded to tell me that this was the table I requested.... I Didn’t request any table.?. They then started to give me a hard time about moving us to a booth or regular table. Not a good start. We traveled from Metuchen and our friends from Howell. Where else would we go at 6:00 on a Sat night in Asbury Park at this point. They said they were very busy. This is not acceptable as I would never have gone there without a reservation and always make mine on OpenTable. We held our ground and they moved us to a table unfortunately again too close to the bar.
The food was great but the service was not. Further the noise level ( again seated near the bar) was beyond tolerable. Not my first time there but certainly the worst experience there.
If you are looking for excellent food in a beautiful, well thought out space, you would be hard pressed to do better than Pascal you know you are in good hands here. Well done all around.
A lovely meal - great atmosphere. Our top dining choice in AP, perhaps a bit pricey so we save for special meals. Crab cake was delish, spouse had the pork chop and devoured it. Our friends had scallops and fou gra and loved their choices!
Excellent restaurant. I work in the NYC and this restaurant is right there in terms of everything. For BC people this restaurant has Saddle River Inn and Latour quality cuisine.
Went for an early dinner before a show. Staff was helpful, playful and added to the evening. Food was excellent. found the restaurant on line and will now recommend it to friends.
Wonderful ambiance and service, good food but pricey and a limited menu.
Delightful brunch experience....delicious food and cocktails artfully presented in a charming atmosphere.
The ambiance was worth the visit .Add to that free valet parking on weekends and you have a great start. The downside was so so service and a decidedly tasteless omelette making Easter Brunch kind of a split decision. The gem salad was a winner and we will give it another try. if the food is better next time this could be a real winner.
This was a terrible experience. We have been going to the restaurant since it’s opening. When we arrived the waiter was awful and behaved as if he would rather be anywhere but there. I love your omelette with the goat cheese and though it was on the menu with Swiss, I asked if I could order it. Instead of saying yes, the waiter went into a whole song and dance about restaurant prep and that things were brought up from downstairs. Etc. Ridiculous. Then my daughter and I ordered the steak frites. He kept pushing an appetizer because he said it would take awhile. Both came out wrong. We sent them back. My daughter couldn’t eat hers because it was burnt. I took mine home. Her steak was taken off the bill. When I went to eat mine later it was fat. Waiter never apologized and had an attitude. There are too many places to dine at today.
The only thing that was good was the service. Our 3 steaks were so tough, a steak knife could barely cut them. Eggs were all over cooked on the steaks, and the eggs that came on the Benedict were raw. The Benedict also came out a very long time after everyone else’s meals, hence the rush and the raw eggs. A big disappointment, especially for the $.
Pascal and Sabine is our absolute favorite! Even though the menu changes a little every season, the food never disappoints and is always fantastic! The service is super also! We'll be back soon!
The short ribs was a bit salty for my taste.
We had a great experience. Wine recommendation was perfect. Food and service were exceptional. We will be back.
A regular spot for us, and never disappoints. Celebrated a birthday.
We made a reservation on a Sunday evening. For appetizer I got the Hand Pies which was delicious. For entree the Coq au Vin, Scallops Risotto and Trout. The Dessert Trio was a great choice, we ordered two! Beignets were great as well. My favorite was the Milk Chocolate dessert. Cappuccino was also perfect. Prompt and continuous water filling. The only thing I would mention is I felt the protein to carb ratio was
a bit off, my husband and I both had just meat left to eat (not complaining) but it didn't feel 100% balanced. Love the ambiance and great for dinner with my husband! Well worth the money in my eyes for a delicious dining experience.
I really loved the food but felt 200.00 for brunch with one drink per person (5 People) was a higher than what I expected or felt the brunch was worth.
Absolutely love this restaurant. The food is always great. Both dinner and brunch. Service is great also. All servers, bartenders and managers are great and go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience.
Dined on a Saturday night. The Crab Cakes and Moules Frites were excellent. Mr Smith burger was very salty. Service was good. There were a couple of entrees restaurant ran out of. We were surprised because it was only 8:30 on a Saturday.
