Pars Cove Restaurant
Really enjoyed a high quality meal with great service at this chicago locals restaurant.
Great quality and affordable!
I had not been to this restaurant in many years and it is still great. We received a warm reception and complimentary appetizer platter upon arrival. Kebabs and chicken fesenjan were delicious. Prices are very reasonable.
The food was authentic and delicious. old world charm. Quiet and quaint. will be going back!
The best lentil soup ever. They could put their walnut/pomegranate sauce on cardboard and you'd eat it. It's THAT GOOD. Service is always a little spotty but I believe the owner hires young people to give them a chance. He always stops by the table to be sure you're good. My favorite restaurant in any neighborhood north of Division.
We enjoyed the food and service at Pars Cove. It was good to start with the appetizer sampler...a nice sampling of all the appetizers. Every course was decent and the prices were very good.
It was a decent meal for two people. The sampler was very tasty and even the entrees but the show stopper was the ice cream for us.
Pars gives you a warm welcome. When we went it wasn't crowded so the place was quiet.
Amazing food and service, reasonably priced. Lovely location for sitting outside on a summer evening
This restaurant is out of this world wonderful! It was our first time there and it was amazing. I felt like I was being treated like family in someone’s home!! They were so welcoming and helpful. I can not recommend it highly enough.
I love the food. We asked for more bread. It was that delicious. Generous portions.
We were a lifetime early for our reservation. The owner himself greeted us when we arrived. The restaurant looked like they were doing a little construction, but it was clean. The service was excellent.
There are way too many similar restaurants that are much better to consider returning here.
Good place, awesome food! Friendly staff, no wait! Definitely would visit again!!
Great food! And great service, too! Little gem that we will be back to visit soon
The service and food were great! The staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. The owner gave out roses at the end of the meal which was a lovely touch. Food was delicious too!
Our group of 11 had a blast. The menu was huge so we decided on a family style dinner. The Persian twists — spiced with anise and a bit sweeter than our family Lebanese favorites — were welcomed changes. Afterward, we walked over to Molly’s cupcakes for dessert. We were the loudest ones there as we sang Hail Purdue — but no one complained.
The food was amazing and the service was outstanding!
Really great food and great service. A Lincoln Park classic.
Absolutely awesome. Amazing food. Attentive owner. Loved it
Exceptional staff, delicious food. Dessert was complimentary. Definitely would recommend it!
Excellent food and service! Intimate ambiance as well! Perfect for date night.
It was a perfect place for a birthday dinner. The staff was wonderful and the food delicious!
Fantastic. A gem!
The owner is super welcoming and the service was incredible. Gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. Will definitely be back!
We felt warmly welcomed in this charming neighborhood restaurant, and were well taken care of. This was our first experience with Persian food and were delighted by the tasty vegetarian dishes. We live in the suburbs, but will definitely be back!
We have been coming here on our Chicago visits for 20 years. We always have delicious food and great service.
Great food, we really enjoyed the appetizer platter which allows you to try different types. The lamb chops and chicken kabobs were very tender and juicy. Outstanding, prompt and friendly service. The night was perfect, we even found a parking spot in front of the place:)
While the food was good I feel the portions were small especially for the price. The flower at the end was a nice touch and the service was good.
Very good food; equally good value! Spicy chicken was perfect! Sangria is different (made with gin) , more dry than Spanish version, still very good. Hummus is some of the best we’ve ever had!
Really delicious food and very charming service. We will be back for more!
My spouse and I got the dinner special for two, and they let our little boy join in at no extra charge. Food was all excellent, even the 10 year old loved all the different offerings. They were super friendly and welcoming.
The proprietors were very friendly and helpful as we were making our selections. This would be a cosy spot on a snowy night. The small, sunken grotto-like front dining room is enclosed with a greenhouse style glass roof overhead which was very unique. We especially enjoyed the appetizer sampler platter.
Phenomenal as always. The staff and owner go above and beyond for their patrons. Food is phenomenal. Can’t say enough about this place and will continue to return.
We had the Mediterranean lamb shanks. Very tasty! We had the baked egg plant appetizer, that was very good too. It's a great place for date night - cozy. The owner was a very nice guy. They all took very good care of us. Gave me a rose to give to my date. We will be back!
I am not very experienced with middle eastern cuisine, so this was outside of my comfort zone. I can say that the owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hummus was the best I have ever had, I must have had store bought in the past. The bottle of wine was ok, the appetizer plate was good, I am not sure what everything was. The beef kebab was supposed to be tenderloin, but a piece had a bone in it. The lamb patties were a little odd, but I got used to it after the third bite. I would say the portions were small, but we had a dish of ice cream for desert. I am not sure that I will ever go back, but the food was good and reasonably priced.
Excellent Persian food. Appetizer sampler does not disappoint. Highly recommend the beef sultini and scalobs with walknut sauce
Great food and friendly staff. A great date night place.
A very modest looking space belies the excellent Persian food. Everything is freshly made and the service is attentive. On our visit, the owner surprised us with complimentary wine and roses. I will definitely eat here again.
I have been coming here for ten years now, it's one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. The food is fresh and made to order. The staff are really nice and there are a lot of choices for food, the sauces really make the dishes. The deserts are awesome as is the soup!
Everyone was very accommodating. We were stuck in some outrageous traffic and called to let the know we would be late. We ended up being an hour late but they still had a table for our group. Wait staff were attentive and the food was good. It was a nice relaxing evening after the stress of getting there!
