Everything was very good except the burger was dry. It's probably my fault I did not tell him I wanted it medium rare but he did not ask either.

I’ve had other great meals here. This was not one—bitter salad, pizza swimming in oil. So disappointed!!

First time here. My friend had a pasta dish that was really spicy, too spicy to finish. I had chicken, which was pretty ordinary. I thought the prices were way too high considering the food quality. For example, we split a salad, which was $16. I'm sure there wasn't $2 worth of ingredients in it. Mostly lettuce. The service was very good. However, they said they would bring the salad right out. 15 minutes later it came out, then 30 seconds later the main dish came out. I won't go back.

What a great find! Downtown Oakland has a another solid go-to restaurant with great cocktails and delicious food. The pizza was especially delicious- the sauce has just the right kick.

Out of 3 entrees on menu, one was sold out. The rib eye steak was only fair for $38, nothing special at all.

First time visit. Everything we ordered was very good. Great salad, pasta special, and Brussels Sprouts appetizer. Tried their least expensive bottle of Chardonnay and it was excellent! Will return with the next menu change.

We have visited parkour two times and have been very happy. The pizzas and salads are well done. I especially like the strawberry summer salad and the Quattro formaggi pizza. The vibe is Oakland cool with a diverse clientele. Service is ok to good. Love that they have non-alcoholic selections of cocktails.

Food was great and servers were nice. We went with a group of 7 from work. They were all accommodating and drinks, appetizers, etc were all fairly prompt. If we went again, we would probably go with a smaller group, as the restaurant got a little loud and it was hard to hear people at the ends of the tables.

It did take a VERY a long time to get our lunch and when we did get it, it came out a few people at a time. Per the server, they had a small pizza oven (the majority of us ordered pizzas). That would have been nice to know ahead of time!

All that said, would definitely go back.

Great spot - everything on the menu is delicious and really cool space. Service can be a bit slow sitting at the tables but bar service is on top of it.

Parlour has not disappointed! My only caveat would be the seasonable drink menu selections- an amazing spicy “margarita” mezcal cocktail disappeared from the menu. Jesse the bartender was awesome in “re/creating” an off the menu cocktail multiple times. And when a wrong dish was given the kitchen immediately rectified the situation. 5star service. Fun evening out before a concert!

My spouse and I only went to Parlour to cash in our Open Table points, and our expectations were low.
We were more than happily surprised. Our dinner started out with calamari that was perfectly prepared. We then shared an enormous salad that seemed to have everything in it that grew in a garden. Our main course was the halibut served with vegetables and buerre blanc. The halibut was cooked to perfection. We fought over the last pieces. Our meal needed with a large, tasty tiramisu.
Our only quibble (minor) was the wine came after the calamari. However, the wine was delicious, and we agreed we would come back to Parlour and bring your friends.

Convenient location to the Paramount with good food and excellent drinks. Way understaffed for the crowd. Wait time for drinks was 15-20 minutes once ordered and getting anyone to the table took effort. Maybe it was just the night, or possibly this is how it is here. If so, please hire more waiters and bartenders when a popular concert or venue crowds your restaurant.

Wonderful evening with friends and family. Ambiance, food, service, everything was spectacular. The homemade pasta and pizza so delicious with unique recipes. Great wine choices and Brussel sprout appetizer was delicious.
Will definitely return. Great place to meet prior to seeing a show at the Fox or Paramount theaters.

Monday night, not very busy, although the hard surfaces and music made Parlour somewhat noisy. Wine list simple, uninteresting. Service capable and friendly. Winter salad was terrific; pasta with clams tasty albeit light on clams; salmon was nicely done; gnocchi was very poor. Panna Cotta was excellent.

Our first time here. Love the openness of the place. And the fresh ingredients. We shared a salad which was very fresh, and the sourdough bread (which seemed a bit costly at $6). I then enjoyed the pasta, and my friend had the pork chop. We agreed that both were delicious, and perfectly prepared. Only gripe would be that the service was a little slow. Other wise well worth the visit!

The staff was so accommodating and the owner was right there busing plates. The bartender went out of his way to accommodate us. And our waiter gave really good descriptions of the food.

It was ok. My pasta was cooked too long and the garlic was raw and should have been cooked longer. They charge $6 for bread, which is great bread, but we needed 2 servings for three table. So we spent $12 on bread! My friend's pizza looked good and he liked it. If we go back, it would be for pizza. Parlour has great potential, love the space, but the food needs some work.

Parlour is excellent. We loved the food and the ambiance. The service was also outstanding. I love that they use local produce and companies and are proud to announce that fact. I look forward to returning soon.

Portions on anything besides the pizza were VERY small. Had a $25 salad and was still starving afterwards.

That being said, the food tasted great and we had great service.

Parlour is a very nice restaurant. On this particular occasion it was a bit uneven. The fired calamari appetizer was delicious. My pasta with clams was a bit under-seasoned, and really could have used some grated Parmesan on top. The doughnuts for dessert were delicious. I will definitely be going back.

Our work department enjoyed a wonderfully prepared lunch. The service was attentive and always checked if we needed anything. The restaurant smelled delicious and had such an attractive rustic cool decor.

Pizza was great!!! Pasta was tasteless and appetizer size yet it was listed as an entree. Waitress seemed completely distracted and didn’t know her menu or specials. Very small and limited menu.

We arrived early on Friday 6:15 I felt that the service was disorgainzed at that point and that we were not getting full service we had to ask for things like plates??
I will return, thought the margarita and the Brussels sprouts were Yummy and worth another trip. We ordered two pizzas the second with round onions I probably won’t order again.
