So much fun! The waitress was super pleasant and even brought us samples of their cocktails.
The Bloody Mary bar for brunch is next level. You get wellllll worth your $12 for the Bloody and I highly recommend. The brunch pizzas are good as well. I recommend the Honey Boo Boo. 10/10!
Great variety of pizzas with an excellent beer list. What’s not to like?
My favorite pizza place with amazing dessert. Go nuts
Went this past Saturday 9/15 for my sister's bachelorette party with a group of 12. We were late and still sat immediately! Our server was amazing and so accommodating with splitting up checks and making sure everyone had what they needed - we were a pretty big pain and she was a trooper the whole time. I wish I remembered her name but the Froze left things a little fuzzy.
We had 3 apps and 6 pizzas and every single thing we tried was incredible. Will definitely recommend!
I requested outside seating and they told me they didn’t have any when I clearly saw that they did. We then asked to be seated in “the box” which is the middle of inside and outside, they took 5-7 to seat us, again, there were a lot of empty seats. They claimed that the one wait time for that was because they couldn’t find our designated server. Pizza here is over rated, fries are overpriced. Maybe something else in the menu is good, but will probably not come here again.
I loved the pizza but my husband’s was very droopy. Find a way to crisp up the crust and it’s a 5. I absolutely LOVED the burrata pizza. The cheese was delectable. Don’t get thrown off by the amount of arugula on top. It made the pizza!
Had a great time! We were so happy we could be seated outdoors immediately without a long wait! Our apps were great, pizza was delish, & we even tried the falafel burger. It was good but a tad on the dry side. Just needed a bit bore sauce and would have been perfect! The froze is awesome!! Hits you hard so watch out!! My only complaint was our waitress. She wasn’t very nice and seemed to be rushing us and took a long time in between getting back to us. We’ve been to PP many times and we’ve always had great service. This was the first time it was sub-par! But with that said, it won’t stop us from coming again!
Our table was ready on time. Good came out in a speedy fashion and our server was friendly and attentive!
It was so loud we couldn’t have Conversation at our table. The food was fine, nothing bad, but nothing spectacular.
Waitress was phenomenal! Other staff was very kind. Food, drinks, and dessert was fresh and prompt.
Get the burrata pizza and the Margherita! It was very noisy but that’s to be expected
Food is incredible. We all left with full and happy bellys. Be sure to get the fried mozzarella for an app!
Love all the pizzas. Nacho bites are a great starter.
We love Parlor, food is SO good and the vibe is fun. But would nice if the wait staff were more friendly (not talking about the busboys/food carriers/bartenders, who are always really nice and attentive). That's the one thing over time that stops us from bringing out of town visitors.
Good beer list, Good Pizza but super loud. Very hard to have a conversation across the table.
Sat in patio areas. Amazing atmosphere. Staff is extremely efficient. Waitress was very polite and appreciated her service. Well done as always Parlor!
This place is a great restaurant. It has a unique ambiance with a smooth atmosphere. It’s definitely a go to spot for pizza and beer.
Do-Workers cane to visit Chicago over the weekend. Perfect place for food/drinks & convo.
Waited an hour to put our order for food in. Took 20 minutes to get a drink. We were a large group but there were plenty of staff and the restaurant was not that crowded.
Food came spicer than advertised. Service was slow.
Desserts were delicious. Vibrant ambiance and cool seats. The only thing negative was that our booth had very little lighting. Couldn’t even read the menu. But other than that, everything else was good.
This place had a cool vibe and we really enjoyed the food. Nachos were super yum, pizza was great and the tacolato was outstanding! Expos and other staff were very attentive - our waters were constantly being refilled and our table quickly cleared which was awesome. Our waitress disappeared a few times when we wanted to order more and get the check (happens, no biggie) but otherwise the experience was terrific and we'll absolutely be back. We had a great time!
Parlor Pizza Bar is pretty chill. The pizza is delicious, and even the punch bowl was yummy! Sit outside on a beautiful day! Just make sure the majority of your party is there, or they won't seat you.
Roxanna and Stephanie were really great, I could not say enough about how they treated us
I’m not sure why I could not have been seated when I arrived. The restaurant was 20% empty and I had a party of 8, my table was ready while the balance of the party was just arriving to Ogilvie Station and were to arrive in 15 minutes. The hostess Arin would not seat me, Eric pestered me and followed me around the empty restaurant not allowing me to sit momentarily at any table besides the bar. Roxanna had brought me a lemonade and was kind enough to service me. It was really disappointing how a customer would be treated in a very empty restaurant. Our bill was nearly $500 with a tip but Eric and Arin we very rude and not accommodating.
Luckily Sagar and Stephanie made our experience and family celebration something to remember. Customer service is important, when the restaurant is full I can understand the way they handled the situation, but that was not the case. Managing the grey area and accommodating the customer is critical to return business....service
The environment and food were wonderful! So perfect for a group dinner, especially a celebration. However, as usual, the server wasn't polite. I have found that the servers generally aren't very friendly, and a bit rude to be honest, at both the Wicker and West Loop locations. Always a bummer considering the food is so great!
Great Patio! I made reservations and called 30 minutes prior to see if they had open seating for us outside. I was told they couldn't promise anything but currently there were tables available. When my party of 10 arrived there was a table set up and ready for us outside. I greatly appreciated that they took my request into consideration and prepared a large table for my group prior to us arriving.
We had a great time and the pizza was outstanding!
The food was a amazing but the server seemed to rush us out. It was very busy but we we were looking to eat drink and enjoy the night and she brought the check and kept asking about cashing out. It just rushed the experience.
I go to Parlor Pizza all of the time and I usually have a very positive experience. Unfortunately, I have a few gripes about my last visit. First, we were hoping to sit outside, but even with a reservation, it was an hour wait, so we had to sit inside. Second, because our reservation stated that we would be 4 adults and 4 kids, they crammed us into a booth for 6. It was extremely uncomfortable and difficult to function. I told the manager that they should never try to put 8 people at that table again, and he rudely responded, "OK." Finally, we asked if we could get the Abe Froman Fave with only sausage on half of the pizza, and they said they wouldn't do that. It was all or nothing. Despite all of this, I'll still go back. I live two blocks away and love the food, drinks and atmosphere here.
Pizza is absolutely delicious and a nice contrast to Chicago deep dish or the typical thin cracker like crust you find at most places. The salad was made from the freshest ingredients. Neat atmosphere- just need to return for dinner/cocktails on the rooftop and check it out.
I made a reservation via Open Table to sit outside, but when I arrived I received the go-around from the indoor hostess to speak with the outdoor hostess, just to find my reservation was only guaranteed for indoor. It would have been more helpful in the reservation process, if there was a notice for this. Additionally, I found the service to be a bit overwhelming. The server asked us for our order immediately after we were seated and checked if our food was ok immediately after we had just received the food. It seems like her timing could have been a bit more relaxed, but it was a full restaurant, at least she was checking on us. Other staff would stop by and interrupt our table to remove our napkin paper.
I go there all the time and had a horrible experience due to a non customer oriented manager. He not only made us feel uncomfortable because we didn’t want to sit in the heat, but he made us feel unwelcome.
Everything was great! The service was excellent and the pizza was delicious! We had the mozzarella sticks and Brussel Sprouts as an appetizer, they were awesome.
We will be back again for sure!
Emiliana was a great server!
The bar and dessert tacos were awesome! The pizza was disappointing. Not much flavor, greasy, and not as “artisan” as they advertise. The pizza is overpriced for what it is, in my opinion!
Still definitely worth a visit to get a drink on the rooftop, and then grab a dessert taco!
First waitress was excellent and then we had to move inside of the rain and the second waitress was not friendly at all...kinda ruined our whole vibe
Service was great! Always a fun time.
This is one of my go to spots, but I was super disappointed with the service this past week. Our waitress could not fulfill our simple requests. messed up our drinks, forgot to put in half of our orders, and tried to charge us for items we did not order at the end. I will probably go back, but this definitely put a bad taste in my mouth.
Crazy bread starter is the best! If you are into Bloody Marys, Parlor and Bub City are a couple of the best places in Chicago
