Everything we got there was great. The Duck is especially wonderful. Best I've ever had. Half salads with meals are a good size.
Awesome unique menu never fails to please!
Excellent menu where everything tasted fresh. Our waitress was one of the best I have ever experienced in Jackson.
Food outstanding, service great, hanger steak out of the world, only down side was I order the house made ice cream and instead of coming and asking me what other flavor I wanted I was giving rosemary.. (not my favorite) but the coffee flavored ice cream was AMAZING!!
Chanel was our server and she was wonderful!
The fillet special was awesome. We wish it was on the menu all the time!!!
Reservations was for 5pm and valet didn’t start until 5:30 so we had to park ourselves 1/4 mike away and walk. Valet later brought our car when we left which was nice. We will return.
Very good food. Wonderful service staff. Quiet and comfortable date night
Absolutely delicious. Second trip, and won’t be the last.
Very nice atmosphere. The food was very tasteful. Went there for a business lunch and customer was very impressed.
I have eaten all over the country. The food at Parlor Market takes a back seat to no one. I would love to meet the Chef and shake his hand. The MOST amazing food!
Food was good, sat at the bar, great service.
Great service followed up by delicious amazing food
This was our first meal at Parlor Market since the new owners took over, and it was an enjoyable improvement. In the past, it was excellent food but very expensive and a bit pretentious. With the new "Italian" menu, everything was delicious, well prepared, and arrived rapidly. It is the best Italian food in Jackson and one of the top 5 dining spots in town. The valet parking was VERY welcomed and efficient.
Very good cocktails, with a wide variety of whiskys available. Service was very good, attentive and friendly staff. Veal was perfectly cooked. Good place to go before a show at Thalia Mara Hall.
Extremely poor service save a very good waitress who compensated best see could for the overall shortcomings of everyone else. Food well below expectations. Everything either underseasoned or overeasoned. Staff very distant and unengaging bordering on downright rude. I would not recommend it to anyone as a place for a fine dining experience.
Overall the experience was great. They always seem to offer some interesting selections of foods. I was a little disappointed by the amount of the "special" scallop chowder. While it was very tasty and unique, there wasn't enough to justify it being an appetizer let alone a meal and at $32 per bowl, it was very pricy for what we got.
Very disappointed in the food & drinks. Food was not great, by any means. It lacked flavor. The bread was okay, but the oil for dipping was terrible. My vodka tonic was all tonic & very little, if any, vodka. The chef has tried to add unique elements to Italian dishes & failed horribly. It is better to keep things basic with great flavor & taste rather than trying to fancy it up. My lasagna was terrible, very dry with no flavor & burned on the bottom. For great food, stick to sister restaurants, Local 463 & Walkers. This one will disappoint.
First visit since Derek Emerson and his staff have taken over. The total experience was excellent. Our server (Shelby) was well versed on the menu and specials. The wine selection was great, as were the cocktails. All four entrees we chose were spot on. Every member of the staff was working well together throughout the restaurant. Chef Chaz and his kitchen did a great job gettin our orders out timely and well presented. We were sat at 5:30 and we finished a little after 7. We will be back soon!
Phenomenal! Every dish was expertly crafted. Highest quality Italian food in the Metro!
Pasta. Made there. Yumm.....Nothing more needs to be said.
Arrived a few minutes late due to traffic. Was seated immediately, server was knowledgeable, friendly and prompt. The food was fantastic! It was a great experience and look forward to returning soon!
Exceptional service and food. Best meal in town, as always.
Good cocktails and tasty food! Service was very attentive
Great pasta dishes. Service was good, efficient. Nice bar area.
Overall everything was good. We missed some of the previous dishes that have been removed from the menu. We tried four of the new mainstream pasta dishes. Did not wow us as was expected. Good but not great.
This was our first time dining there and my husband and absolutely lovedddd it!!!!
Last minute reservation. Table was ready when we walked in the door. Very impressed
Visiting Parlor Market is always a must for my wife and Iwhen we are in Jackson. We love to sit at the bar and enjoy the quit dimly lit atmosphere. The food is always great and interesting. On our last visit the Eggplant parmasean was exceptional as was our Lobster Risotto. We love the Turtle dessert recommended by Kelly, our bartender and server. She also made us great cocktails and gave us a good wine recommendation. Can’t wait for our next visit!
It was our first time in this restaurant. The food was perfect with a very good service. We will return for sure
Thanks
Gilbert
Food was great. I had the whole fish. The others in our group had bolognese. The fish could be best I ever had. Bolognese was excellent as well
They have changed owners and it has all gone down hill from there. Smaller portions and different recipes of the same food. The sweet potatoe muffin is no longer there and the Mac n cheese tasted like it was from a box. Probably will not come here again which is sad because this was a favorite of my coworkers and I.
Been here twice and it hasn't disappointed. The pastas are phenomenal and the service is great.
The food was not good. The portions were tiny. The food was too salty. The pasta was gummy and over cooked. The server was great but that was all.
Quiet at 5:15, much busier at 7 pm. Friendly and very competent waitress. Drinks delicious, food heavily flavored homemade pasta, and delicious Caesar salad. Overall, a pleasant meal.
Pasta....amazing!
Excellent food but I do miss the sweet potato muffins!
New chef, food quality went down. Just not the same place as before.
I've been a fan Parlor Market since Craig Noone's concept turned into reality. After Craig's tragic death, the restaurant seemed to have difficulty finding an identity. But, when restaurateur Derek Emerson took over, things started looking up.
Derek has kept all the great things about PM, with an ever-changing menu and fresh takes on some novel menu items. The focus seems to be seafood, Italian, and the South. Highlights were the Charcuterie board with meats and cheeses and the Milanese. Recommend the Redfish; not a huge portion, but prepared flawlessly. In addition, all of the meat dishes are excellent - we enjoyed both the Milanese and the Strip. Sides are generous and meant for sharing. Also, don't miss the Craig's Fried Oyster salad. Perfectly fried oysters on lightly-charred romaine lettuce.
Definitely recommend!
This was our first time to the Parlor Market. Easy to find parking nearby. Service was great and good beer menu. We ordered the tuna crudo as an appetizer and it didn’t have much flavor. My husband asked for hot sauce. Wouldn’t order it again. Had the PM dinner salad and it was fresh and yummy. Ordered the pork chop and ate it all. Cooked well and lots of flavor. Had the stewed kale and snap beans for sides. The beans were amazing and nothing like I have had anywhere else. The kale was too salty and almost couldn’t eat it. Will go again and try other items. Worth another date night.
