a must in Pasadena, old school, great food, great steaks, the chicken dish was the best I have ever had.
My wife and I regularly dine at Parkway Grill when celebrating special occasions and holidays. The food is always excellent and the service only compliments the first class dining experience that you will find here. We thoroughly enjoyed our last meal there and have never been disappointed.
Ken Frank, Guest chef, did not disappoint. The scallops, the lamb, and pate were outstanding.
Parkway Grill is a beautiful restaurant serving excellent cuisine staffed by professionals. One of my favorites in
They had a special chef from Napa come down. I wasn’t impressed tasted like a typical fine dining entree. There was no wow factor. Very disappointed.
Lobster in ‘specialty starter’ excellent-accompaniment mundane.
New York steak fatty and lacked expected flavor.
Strawberry crepes excellent.
Lovely, lovely lunch
Parkway Grill is always a good experience. Service is very attentive and accommodating.
My eight-year-old daughter wanted a small special family celebration dinner to be held here with her favorite items: lamb lollipops and bacon-wrapped figs.
Mom and dad got the half chicken.
Delicious and he accommodated our gluten free requests.
Complimentary Valet parking is efficient and convenient, just remember to tip!
Had a very enjoyable meal at Parkway Grill. Good food, nice room and great service.
Excellent...outstanding service from David! Food and atmosphere is consistently high quality. We fined in the small dining room facing the parking lot...much quieter and fa more cozy than the main dining room.
This is possibly the most gorgeous restaurant in LA. The lighting is perfect: down lighting on every table top with soft ambient light coming from beautiful amber shades. Beautiful hardwood everywhere. Really no bad tables or bad views. Modest noise levels so you can actually have a conversation. Truly excellent food and service. Pricey but worth it.
Parkway Grill is wonderful. Ron, the server, is most enjoyable and efficient. Very classy restaurant. Food is great.
Service was terrific! The food was great. We enjoyed a wonderful Easter Brunch.
The overall experience is of fine dining with excellent service.
A colleague recommended Parkway Grill as the location for a celebrator dinner and I'm very glad we made reservations.
The ambiance for me was amazing! The inside of the restaurant and bar are beautiful. I loved the pianist playing live music. Tim B was amazing and had impeccable timing.
Our drinks from the bar were very good (Whiskey Rebellion? WOW!)
The food we all had was delicious, cooked perfectly, portions were great, and didn't leave me for wanting more. Dessert was very good as well.
I am in love with Parkway Grill and will be back!
Lovely dinner thatvstarted with a card congratu
Erick was fantastic. Catered to our every need. We started with cocktails (bourbon based) and before the night was over Mark from the bar came to our table to explain his small batch bourbons! What an extra treat.
As we left we said “an evening like this can’t end this way.” So down to the bar for dessert and after dinner brandies.
Piano music was to our liking.
We feel we made new friends although we’ve been eating there practically since it opened.
The place was getting a 4-5 Star review until 2 people in our dinner party became ill due to the filet they both had! We know it was the filet, as everyone shared or had the same food/drinks with the exception of those that had the filet. Could have been the mushroom sauce that same with it. Hard to say. One thing is for sure, the illness came on quickly after the consumption of their entree’!
We always enjoy the Parkway Grill’s ambience. The combination of wood and brick walls adorned with Plein air pictures by the distinguished artist, Millard Sheets is not your usual restaurant decor.
Combine that with attractively plated dishes and a menu that offers a wide range of tempting food choices, and you have, in my opinion, all the ingredients for a pleasant dining experience.
Excellent overall. Only thing, i had asked for my filet mignon to be medium rare and was medium. But was still good. Great experience.
Everything was great, but it is WAY overpriced --$40 for a piece of fish.
We hadn't been to Parkway for more than a year. Seated at an excellent table against the back wall with a view of the room. Great space. Food options on the menu were good; specials were even better. Service was professional and attentive. I ordered the Caesar which was big wedges of romaine rather than chopped. Entre - pork chop - was prepared just right. Excellent evening.
I hosted a party of four, and for three of us the entree's were very good. My wife ordered her standard off menu pizza consisting of cheese, prosciutto, and arugula. The pizza dough was chewy, very little prosciutto and a lot of arugula and to top things off they charged $42 when their menu pizza's are in the $20 - $25 range.
Great time as always!
THIS PLACE IS CONSISTENT-ALWAYS GOOD (Food & Service)
I have been here many times. Probably first about 20 years ago. Had the catfish and oysters and my date had the salmon with grilled vegetables. She really liked the iced tea. But what made the day was the server. His name is Shane. I went to Parkway Grill on March 21, 2018 at 12:30 for lunch. Thank you Shane.
A family favorite for special occasions, a birthday this time. The room is always beautiful, somebody's playing a piano, the martini is pretty perfect, and the food is always good. Pricey (for us) but absolutely reliable.
The service was great, the variety of food was good. Must try the shrimp corn dogs! Skip the crab cakes
Experienced a very nice birthday dinner celebration: beautiful ambience, excellent food and exceptional service.
Food was excellent as always. I’ve been dining here regularly for over 15 yrs, and have never been disappointed.
Upscale, re: menu, service, linens, ambiance, tone, etc.
It was pact, look like Christmas in March, it seems that this establishment, is the best Restaurant in Pasadena?
Wonderful in every way.
Lively, large appetizer portions (pear flatbread was huge! Tuna tartar was awesome), nice drink menu, scallop salad was delicious. Servers very attentive. Great for groups!
Parkway Grill has been our favorite restaurant for years. The food, service and ambiance is always 5 star 👍🏼
Excellent service. Scrumptious and outstanding food. Love the lava cake.
Always wonderful and special.
Service was SUPERIOR! Friendly, Efficient, Thoughtful!
Ambience nice - quiet (2PM weekday lunch).
Food very good and nice variety.
For a quiet and productive meal after noon rush this is THE PLACE!
